Daemon Fuegoscuro, considerado como Daemon II Fuegoscuro por sus partidarios, y también conocido como Daemon el Joven, fue el tercer hijo de Daemon Fuegoscuro y Rohanne de Tyrosh.

Utilizó el pseudónimo de Ser John el Violinista, un caballero errante, mientras viajaba de incógnito por los Siete Reinos. Lideró la breve Segunda Rebelión Fuegoscuro.

Daemon is described as a slim and lithe young man, with a clean-shaven face, handsome and fine features. He also wore long dark hair and eyes that matched the blue of his doublet. Later, when he is revealed to be the son of the Black Dragon, he washes his hair to remove the dark dye he was wearing, to reveal that his true hair color is gold and silver, at which point Dunk sees that his eyes are like those of Egg. Furthermore, it is hinted that Daemon II was homosexual.

His brothers Aegon and Aemon took pleasure in tormenting Daemon and his friend Alyn Cockshaw. Following the defeat of his father and older brothers in the Battle of the Redgrass Meadow, Daemon is brought to Tyrosh by his uncle Bittersteel, where he is later crowned by his supporters as king. His close relationship with Alyn Cockshaw provoked the concern of his supporters and the rejection of Aegor Ríos.

News arrives that the Blood Raven Lord is marching on the White Walls to end what has become the Second Blackfire Rebellion. Daemon tries to raise up the castle's men, but they have no intention of fighting on the weak side. Daemon faces the royal army and offers to fight in single combat, but is arrested by the Blood Raven Lord. It kept him alive, in an attempt to prevent Bittersteel from crowning Daemon's younger brother, Haegon.

Daemon spent several years a prisoner in the Red Keep, until he presumably died in AD 219, the year his brother Haegon started the Third Blackfire Rebellion.

Conflict after conflict, Aegon was forced to yield to the lords much more often than he wanted. He was heard to say that if he had dragons the noble lords would be less hostile towards him and he could more easily enact all the reforms that the common people wished to grant. The king believed that if he had dragons he could have rebuilt the kingdom, with peace and prosperity for all.

Furthermore, King Aegon faced troubles caused by his sons. Growing up among the common people, Aegon had developed a dislike for the Targaryen practice of incestuous marriage. Even when the High Septon, the Grand Master, and members of the Privy Council urged the king to make his son reconsider, Duncan did not undo their marriage. On the contrary, he rejected his claim to the throne and renounced his title of Prince of Dragonstone in favor of his younger brother Jaehaerys.

This did not restore peace between the Iron Throne and Lord Lyonel Baratheon, whose daughter Prince Duncan had despised by marrying a peasant girl. In 245 AD Rhaelle kept her father's promise and married Lord Ormund Baratheon, the new Lord of Storm's End.

The new Crown Prince Jaehaerys was of a more traditional mind and from a young age he wanted to marry his sister, Princess Shaera. When King Aegon and Queen Betha discovered the attraction between their children they did everything possible to separate the two brothers, which only served to inflame their passions. On the way, he met a boy with a shaved head named Egg, who begged him to be his squire. Dunk eventually agreed. They camped just outside Ashford, under an elm tree, where they saw a shooting star passing through the sunset sky. For Dunk, the moment symbolized the humble joys of the wandering knight life. In the morning, Dunk sold Ser Arlan's gear and bought armor his size. Needing a crest, he asked a Dornish puppeteer, Tanselle, to paint her shield: a shooting star on an elm in the sunset field.

Dunk claims to tournament organizers that Ser Arlan knighted him before he died, but no one remembers Ser Arlan. Eventually, Dunk asks Baelor Lanzarrota, who had just met Ser Arlan once, if he remembers the late knight; Baelor allows Dunk to participate in the tournament. That afternoon, Prince Aerion Targaryen attacks the puppeteers, who were enacting the death of a dragon. Dunk helps the Dornishmen, correcting Aerion with blows in the process. Dunk offers to settle the matter with a trial by combat and Lady Rohanne agrees, sending her butler, Ser Lucas Inchfield, to fight Dunk. Once again, strength and fighting skills make up for Dunk's lack of sword mastery. He kills Ser Lucas, but is seriously wounded and nearly drowns in the river.

After recovering, Dunk discovers that Eustace and Rohanne have ended their differences and plan to marry. Lady Rohanne offers her to Llama a Dunk, as a gift for the role she played in their reconciliation, but he rejects her, kisses Rohanne and cuts a piece of her braid as a memento. Later, Dunk and Egg leave Tiesa.

Dunk and Egg leave Stone Septo and head north, hoping to enter the service of Lord Beron Stark, who has called for men to defend himself against Greyjoy raids on the north shore. Lady Danelle began to practice the dark arts during the reign of Maekar I Targaryen, which brought about the end of her lineage between madness and chaos.

A story relates that she went crazy, bathed in blood and organized feasts of human flesh in her castle.

However, two years later, Aelor died in a grotesque accident at the hands of his own twin sister and wife, Aelora, in unknown circumstances that left him insane with pain. Aelora became Princess of Dragonstone and heir to the throne.

The Third Fuegoscuro Rebellion took place in A.D. 219. and ended with the capture of Aegor Ríos and the death of Haegon Firefighter. Aceroamargo was taken prisoner in King's Landing. While Blood Raven and Aerion Targaryen wanted Bittersweet to be executed, King Aerys was gracious, giving him the option to spend the rest of his days as a sworn brother of the Night's Watch. The ship that was in charge of transporting it to the Wall was intercepted near Guardiaoriente del Mar by some Fuegoscuro supporters, with which Aegor could be rescued and returned with the Golden Company to the other side of the Narrow Sea.

Finally, Aerys I was succeeded upon his death in A.D. 221. by his brother Maekar.
