Actually the years in Darkwick are messing me up bc like I know Japanese high school typically goes from 15-18 but many of the ghouls are obviously older than their years in Darkwick would imply.

I'd suggest maybe Darkwick just tracks years in the school by the years you've been there...but they brought MC in as a second year automatically. (Unless it's bc she wouldn't have the access she needs as a first year?)

They do v specifically call Darkwick an academy and not a high school.

Mun: Yuri, how old are you?

Yuri: *doing paperwork*

Mun: Yuri, how old are you?!?

Yuri: *ignoring mun*

Mun: goddammit how OLD-

#mun speaks #almost none of the ghouls read as actual teenagers unless you count some feeling 17-19 #mun staring at a room full of Japanese people unable to tell which are in their 20s and which are actual teenagers #i watch dramas and i struggle with whether the actors for characters are actually teenagers or not and then some turn out to be 40 im dead
