Fuck, I remember the part in episode 2 where Day fires Mhok and how it's so similar to their breakup here in episode 11.

It's the fact that Day that makes the call in both of those scenes, that Mhok's actions are because of the guilt he feels about his sister's death. It's trauma and misunderstandings and vulnerabilities.

Then I think about Day's mom mentioning the difference between being a caretaker and a boyfriend. How closeness becomes a factor and makes the distinction between caretaker and boyfriend clearer.

And I think about how Mhok didn't try to fight back against Day firing him versus Mhok immediately telling Day 'don't do this' when Day says they should break up.

It's a really big difference.

gosh, I can't stop thinking about the stuffed bear in Robert's office and how you could assume Morgan just left it there on accident, maybe he has to bring her to work with him sometimes. but I really love the idea of her saying "you should bring Mr. Bear with you today so he can keep you company" because she knows how boring his job is. and Robert can't deny his daughter anything, so he agrees, and now he just has Mr. Bear on his desk every day to keep him company !!!!
