Solus maintained his stony frown but nodded, unclipping his blaster holster. For a moment, he let go, trying to feel what was going on around them before nodding again. "It's safe..." Something was wrong, though... or maybe... something was calling to him? He could feel it, twisting in his gut. He ached for his mother's broken lightsaber that was hidden in his pack. All he needed was a crystal. Was this his chance?

Solus' mind flashed back to the beloved old family friend who had betrayed his family after being turned to the Dark Side. He gulped, shaking. He didn't like accepting help. Accepting help was dangerous. But as he opened his mouth to snarl a refusal, he shuddered and nodded instead, giving another gulp and a nod of his head. "Fine... But I don't trust you," he said definitively.

"Because I'm here to help." Sabé was not Yané, she did not have a way with children, and what experience she did have was limited at best.

Yané had told her to speak to children like she would an adult she was trying to help, and to show kindness, so the former handmaiden was falling back on that advice.

"But we have to move now, we don't have much time."

Solus studied thw woman for a moment, hand visibly itching to go for his blaster as he stood before her, heart racing and eyes just barely managing to hide the flicker of fear in the back of his gaze. He looked down as his astromech butted up against his leg before looking back up with a deep, suspicious frown. "Why?"

Meanwhile, the underbelly of Coruscant was all Solus had ever known. He hated it, but he didn't know anything else.

He nodded, still frowning, only to look up sharply, hesitating. Finally, after a moment, "Solus... just Solus." His last name was all anybody really needed to know.

Solus narrowed his eyes, but gave a sharp nod, following the woman out. He hated trusting people, especially when he didn't have a choice, but he knew that if the Rebellion was after him, then the Empire surely must be, too, and not just because of the Inquisitor. He drew his blastwr and kept a wary eye out, feeling his surroundings as best as he could to try and detect any threats.
