Another (medium power) transistor replaced on this JH-16. I'm afraid that the solenoid for the head shield is definitely out of use... Won't bring it down anymore, though the command signal is there... As expected, ALL four 2N2270 driving transistors on the driver boards of the tape brakes, pinch roller, tape lifter and head shield are completely dead. Same thing for the one on the Phase Locked Loop board...
