Epidote included Quartz with Growth Interference from Brazil! The green crystals you see growing in the Quartz are the Epidote. If you look at our Stories, we posted a video of this piece and you can see the Growth Interference on the underside along with some Keys. Keys are indentations in the Quartz that leave parallel striations where another Quartz crystal was growing at some point. The Growth Interference is the deep indent on the underside of this cluster where another mineral was growing and interfered with the growth of the Quartz. Epidote can assist in treating disorders of the thyroid, brain, and nervous system. This piece is about 3.25” from tip to tip.
