SURE, carnivals were fun, but only because the Devil got something out of it — people’s souls. And explosions and fire were great, but only when they terrorized people. Fireworks were designed to ENTERTAIN people. The Devil wasn’t a fan. “What if we set this place on fire instead?” He turned to face Shireen. “Now THAT would be enjoyable!”

Shireen gazed up at him thoughtfully. “...You can set me on fire if you want,” she offered as a compromise, fairly certain that the flames, even the Devil’s, wouldn’t harm her. Perhaps, her companion would feel better getting to do so, and innocent people would certainly be kept safe from harm. 

Like many of the stalls below them advertised, ‘Everyone a winner!’

Nancy held out a bottle of water to the other, “Here. You look like you could use this.” She breathed. 

She slumped against the seat, and closed her eyes for a moment. “So... what do we do now?” She asked. She honestly had no idea what they were meant to do now. The world had gone to shit. Hawkins had become open to the Upside down, which everyone still blamed Eddie for.

And they were all exhausted. All out of ideas. Yet they knew none of it was over, they knew they still had a battle ahead of them.

“I mean.... well... I don’t know what I mean, what are we meant to do now?”

Probably anything where Gabriella plays a dominate role. This used to be mainly in smut threads (when I used to write them) but now it's in any situation such as kidnapping, or being the dominate party in any kind of relationship. I just can't write Gabriella in that way at all. It feels very out of character for her because she's so sweet and innocent.
