"and get left on read or sent to voicemail? i'll pass, thanks." she countered stella's step forward with one back, but only to move out of the way to let her inside in a silent invitation.

stella didn't know what to expect showing up here. the younger woman had always been a bit of wildcard, but one could argue, their entire situation could be one. that was part of the excitement, it kept stella on her toes. ironically, far more than the things she did in the shadows. putting a two-hundred and fifty pound man down didn't get her heart beating quite like nahla. whether she was irritating her or beneath her, the distinction mattered little. "oh, come on, i'm only a vampire when you ask me to bite you." she stepped closer, not enough to push herself inside. "besides, you could have texted or called, too." what? she might as well address the elephant in the room (hallway).

Sadie Miller and Christopher Naylor return to the roles of the Fourth Doctor’s companions Sarah Jane Smith and Harry Sullivan – as originally played on TV by Elisabeth Sladen (Sadie’s mother) and Ian Marter – for their own brand-new series of full-cast audio adventures. 

A few years after leaving the TARDIS behind, journalist Sarah Jane takes an assignment that brings her back in touch with her old friend Harry, a doctor freelancing for UNIT. They soon team up on new investigations, and are joined by K9 (John Leeson) and Sarah’s Aunt Lavinia (Annette Badland, familiar to Doctor Who viewers as Blon Fel-Fotch Pasameer-Day Slitheen, taking over the role first portrayed in K9 & Company by Mary Wimbush). 

This team will discover that, though they’re no longer travelling the stars with the Doctor, there are plenty of threats to be uncovered and villains to be vanquished back at home on Earth.

baby ginkgo is star of the show, it will reach a mature height of only 70cm!!!! INTO MY FLOWERBED IT GOES!

there were so many good finds..... i think all of these except the ginkgo and the cyclamen are evergreen, i wanted to plant things that will give me things to gaze at all year! :3 also accidental day of the helianthemum too, i didn't realise i'd bought 3 varieties until i was posting these photos :P i'm so excited to see everything flower in spring!!!!!! what a morning........ the gleeful moment i had when i spotted that ginkgo across the display.... i would know those yellow leaves anywhere...... <3 i hope all these guys look cute as hell and one billion bugs come to visit!

Jodie Whittaker returns to Doctor Who 

Big Finish Productions, in partnership with BBC Studios, today announces the first ever Thirteenth Doctor audio dramas as Jodie Whittaker returns to the Whoniverse alongside Mandip Gill as Yasmin Khan.  

First seen on screen in 2017, Jodie Whittaker made TV history as the first female incarnation of the beloved Time Lord in Doctor Who.  

Now she’s back in a brand-new series of twelve, hour-long, full-cast audio adventures in time and space, due to be released from July 2025. By her side in the TARDIS, as ever, will be her best friend Yaz, once again played by Mandip Gill.  

Jodie Whittaker said: “I’m over the moon to be joining Big Finish for more adventures in the TARDIS. Recording the Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz is a really lovely thing to revisit. One of the things Mandip and I used to love on Doctor Who was getting in, doing a new episode and meeting a brand-new cast. I just can’t wait to step back into the boots, pull on the coat and get cracking. One thing’s for sure, it’s going to be brilliant.” 

Mandip Gill added: “Doctor Who has been a huge part of my career and personal life and I am looking forward to seeing how I can further enrich my character through this exhilarating series. To be able to work with Jodie again is a dream come true, we have such a special friendship, I’m sure the recordings will be filled with laughter.” 

Big Finish’s Chairman, Jason Haigh-Ellery said: “This year Big Finish is celebrating its 25th anniversary of producing full-cast Doctor Who audio drama – so, when we were granted the licence to create new stories set during the Thirteenth Doctor’s era, we immediately set to work.
