Automatic Car Parking: Where Innovation Meets Convenience
Tumblr media
In the bustling landscape of modern cities, where urbanization is at its peak, the struggle to find convenient parking is an all-too-familiar scenario for drivers. The rapid increase in vehicle ownership and population density has made parking a precious commodity. This is where automatic car parking systems come into play, offering innovative solutions that not only alleviate parking woes but also enhance the overall parking experience. Klaus Multiparking is at the forefront of this revolution, providing cutting-edge automated parking systems that combine efficiency, convenience, and sustainability.
The Need for Smart Parking Solutions As cities grow, traditional parking methods are proving inadequate. The demand for parking spaces continues to rise, leading to congestion and frustration for drivers. An automatic parking system offers a practical and space-efficient solution by utilising vertical and horizontal spaces in innovative ways. This approach not only maximises the number of vehicles accommodated but also significantly reduces the footprint of parking facilities.
What is an Automatic Car Parking System? An automatic car parking system refers to a mechanical structure that allows vehicles to be parked without the driver needing to manoeuvre the vehicle into a parking space. These systems can range from simple mechanical parking systems to complex, fully automated configurations. At Klaus Multiparking, our solutions incorporate the latest technology to ensure a seamless and secure parking experience.
Types of Automated Parking Systems
Stack Parking Systems
Stack parking systems are designed to optimise space by allowing vehicles to be parked one above the other. These systems can double or even triple parking capacity, making them ideal for areas with limited horizontal space. The robust design ensures that vehicles weighing up to 2.5 tonnes can be safely stored. This innovative solution is particularly beneficial for residential complexes and commercial buildings in urban areas. Puzzle Car Parking Systems
The puzzle car parking system takes efficiency to another level by integrating both vertical and horizontal movement. This allows for quick and easy access to parked vehicles while maximising space usage. The customizable design of these systems means they can be tailored to fit various project requirements, whether for high-rise buildings, malls, or public parking facilities. Additionally, the quiet operation of these systems enhances the user experience, making them suitable for residential environments.
Fully Automated Parking Systems
Klaus Multiparking's fully automated parking systems are at the top of parking innovation. These advanced systems utilise cutting-edge technology to automatically park and retrieve vehicles at the touch of a button. With maximum security and space optimization, these systems can be installed in various configurations—above ground, below ground, or hybrid—making them adaptable to any urban landscape. The convenience of automatic retrieval allows users to seamlessly integrate parking into their daily routines.
Why Choose Klaus Multiparking? At Klaus Multiparking, we go beyond just providing smart parking systems; we offer a comprehensive service that ensures reliability and convenience. Our automatic car parking systems come with the assurance of 24/7 support and an annual service contract, guaranteeing that your parking solution remains efficient and effective over time.
Moreover, our systems are future-proof, equipped with integrated EV charging options, allowing users to charge their electric vehicles while parked. This feature not only supports sustainable practices but also addresses the growing demand for electric vehicle infrastructure in urban environments.
Conclusion: The Future of Parking As cities continue to evolve, the need for innovative parking solutions becomes increasingly urgent. Klaus Multiparking's mechanical parking systems and advanced automated parking systems offer a glimpse into the future of urban parking—one where convenience, efficiency, and sustainability go hand in hand. By embracing smart parking systems, cities can alleviate congestion, improve the user experience, and create more space for urban living. With Klaus Multiparking leading the charge, the future of parking is not only automated but also smarter and more convenient than ever before. Alright, I have been thinking about spaceships!!
Basic premise, we don't have light speed tech so it's all within the solar system. Moons and some planets are terraformed, there are space stations, so on. I haven't designed anything with fake gravity, so the ships would need to handle gravity and zero grav in space. That's mostly fixtures though, the structure is fairly unchanged I reckon, cos it does all still need to work in gravity. Because of that, the engines are taking up a bit of space. And i've tried to leave some dead space in the ship cos i'm sure i'll come up with more scientific necessities, like I'm already thinking about constantly having to create fuel to burn to leave orbit.
Other thing, this ship has to work in three ways. One, space flight/leaving orbit stuff. Two, can park on solid ground and has a functional trade door. Three, has some way of fishing while hovering over the open ocean. That's why every ship has a "fishing" zone for the fishing part of things. They're all at the bottom of the ship, obvs.
Also, you'll probably get this from my writing the pros and cons, but this is for a romance that just happens to be set in space lol
First of all, the UFO
Tumblr media
Basic UFO design premise. One big wide disc, on one level.
Pros: I can fuck around with the design on the one level pretty freely, and don't need to commit to shit For example, storage and rooms should def swap cos rooms can have windows then. This can have whole areas the pov character doesn't go to very easily. Open plan means secrets and privacy are harder to have, encourages drama.
Cons: The design doesn't make sense against like air drag and leaving orbit. It' so not aerodynamic. Maybe it takes off at a 90 degree angle, so like every room has a take off chair fitted to the wall cos it's gonna flip to its side. Okay, that's kinda fun, this shouldn't be in the con line anymore but whatever. It's a good example that all cons can be overcome x
Second, let's look at the Slice
Tumblr media
Pros: Small and intimate. There's less rooms so everyones sharing a room with another shift, which gives everyone a unique friendship with one person on another shift schedule. Can't hang out in your room, so gotta see other people, encourage interaction. Tbf, I can make that happen in the other designs if I decide it's too cool to skip
Cons: also not aerodynamic. Very good in space or staying in gravity. Maybe it has another way it sorta collapses in to leave orbit, like the angle bit on the hangy downy slides up to be more like an arrow head. Yeah alright, there' another con that's become a cool pro. Actual con! Not having your own room lessens how easy it is to have sex. Although i guess the shifts undo that, cos you wouldn't want to risk waking the person who's got the room rn. Could be a fun pro as secret sex is much harder to do. Ugh
The Ball
Tumblr media
Pros: Hysterical. Quite a bit of space. Confusing layout gives you nooks and crannies to bump into someone in a sexual tension way. Aerodynamic enough i guess? Fucking wild looking, it's just a big ol ball. I could redesign this a bit to be like a luxury yacht that's been refitted to be a fishing boat, which'd add some fun world building stuff. And some crazy down time options
Cons: This feels the most disjointed to me really. And it would be so damned hard to build. Oh, the multi level idea, which i kinda forget when drawing, is that 1B would be accessible through floor holes in the 2C corridors. They probably dont line up cos I forgot about it. Actually, they kinda nearly do. Cool.
Here's a poll so you can choose lol. I'll do another poll in reblogs with some of the features so you can suggest what you think is the most important feature, if you really want to have a say! I love feedback and brainstorming, so please, bring your heart <3

tmnt prompts you say….. :3 how about some 2k12 leo and mikey cos i just adore the way u write their dynamic ✨✨
x
Honeycutt isn’t always easy to understand. He’s very enthusiastic and demonstrative, and surprisingly expressive given that the only parts of his face he can emote with are the digital lenses of his eyes, but there are times when his mind works in mysterious ways that baffle even Donatello, who understands their android guardian best.
Sometimes, like today, Honeycutt watches Leo and his siblings file onto the bridge in the light of artificial morning and he tilts his head and studies them for a long moment without speaking.
Then he claps his hands together and brightly says something like, “Good morning my friends! I have great news! Our ship needs immediate, serious, time-critical repairs!”
“What?” Leo, Donnie and April blurt at the same time, at the same volume.
“Doc, that’s not good news,” Casey adds, looking vaguely seasick. His claustrophobia hasn’t exactly gotten better out in the vacuum of empty space. “Are we—do you—we should get you a thesaurus.”
“April and I just ran a system check two cycles ago and everything was fine,” Donnie says, and he’s already bringing data up on that holo-gauntlet that’s been permanently attached to his arm since the second the Professor gifted it to him. “The bulkhead shields have degraded a little but—”
“Forget all of that,” Honeycutt says, waving his hands through the holographic screen until it fizzes out. Donnie looks extremely offended. “The point is, we’ll have to stop at the nearest repair station. Lucky for us, there’s one only a parsec away! We’ll use the warp drive and be there in no time. And we might as well see the sights while we’re there. Let’s make a day of it! Chop, chop!”
Leo’s siblings scurry to their stations, all but sulky Donnie, who has to be propelled there by the implacable Professor’s deceptively strong noodle arms.
“Where are we going, Professor?” Mikey calls out. He didn’t sleep well the night before, Leo can tell. There’s a shadow of something pressed over him, like the footprint of a bad dream. He didn’t bring any sunshine onto the bridge with him.
Raphael, sitting in the console beside Mikey, gives him a sidelong look that validates the little wriggling fish of concern swimming around in the back of Leo’s mind.
Honeycutt’s head twists on the column of his synthetic neck to face Leo’s littlest brother and his eyes smile at Mikey kindly. It’s that kindness more than anything that makes Leo continue to trust him. It reminds him of Splinter, in a way that manages not to be painful.
“We’re going to visit an old friend of mine,” Honeycutt explains cheerfully. “We may as well make the most of our sticky situation, don’t you think? Now off we go!”
They don’t land at a repair station. They land outside of what looks like the gates of a giant theme park, if Leo absolutely had to guess. Honeycutt must have called ahead, because the guards are expecting them, and not in the usual unfortunate way guards tend to expect the fugitoid. They smile and salute Leo’s family in greeting and escort them inside.
Apparently this place is called the Battle Nexus and it’s amazing. It’s a planet-wide arena made up of all kinds of different levels and terrains, for the purpose of a multi-cultural exchange of battle tactics and training. The master who oversees the whole thing is a wizened warrior referred to as the Daimyo, who turns out to be an old friend of the Professor’s.
The Daimyo was happy to usher Leo and his siblings into the competition—the kid-friendly version of the competition, anyway. Honeycutt very firmly steered the six of them toward their own age bracket, far, far away from anything even remotely grudge-match-shaped.
Raph looked a little forlornly at the blood-stained brawling pit they were marched past, but he and Casey both quickly fell in with a group of rowdy aliens around their size. Donnie wasn’t remotely interested in anything until a group of medics on stand-by caught his attention with the tricorders they were holding, and then he was hounding them within an inch of their lives. Leo watched after him anxiously, but the medics seemed reluctantly charmed by his purple-banded brother, and humored his barrage of questions. Mikey was still with Honeycutt and the Daimyo, chatting at the old master like they’d known each other for years, probably securing yet another life-long ally for his family in that easy, off-handed way he always made friends.
“Leo, come on,” April said, tugging on his arm. Her eyes were sharp and eager, glinting with that competitive edge that shined as brightly as Raph’s did at times. “They’re doing archery over that way, let’s go!”
So—it’s fun. And it only takes Leo most of an hour, if that, to realize that their ship is more than likely just fine, and it was actually very kind of Honeycutt to bring them here. It makes him feel warm and cared-for, like when he was much younger, and the shiny responsibility of leadership was still a distant dream.
And then a certain sixth sense pings in the back of his mind, drawing his attention from the archery targets and across the meadow to where Donnie looks like he’s one second away from causing a diplomatic incident, his face a thundercloud of pure, distilled rage. He’s shouting something at a group of humanoid aliens standing around in a scattered formation, and his body is tense and still the way it is when he’s literally about to pounce on a Footbot and tear it to pieces with his bare hands. Mikey is standing just behind him, tucked out of sight.
“Oh, boy,” April says from Leo’s shoulder, and then they shove their bows into the hands of the people closest to them and cross the field at ninja speed.
“—worth a hundred of you,” they get there in time to hear Donnie bite out. “So you can take your stupid game and shove it right up your—”
“Donatello,” Leo says, stunned more than scolding. Did he and Raph switch bodies somehow? Leo’s not ready to deal with that today.
But no, Donnie whirls to face him with that particular brand of wounded frustration in his bright red eyes, a look that Leo is familiar with. It’s a look that says ‘why are these people so stupid and why is it my problem?’ and it only ever precedes Donnie losing his absolute shit in a very big way.
Raph falls in next to Leo, grim-faced and groaning, “Nooo. God, what did they do, Don?”
“We’re not staying here,” Donnie announces in lieu of an actual answer. “We’re leaving.”
“What?” Casey asks blankly.
His confusion is completely fair, and shared three ways between Leo, April and Raph. The Nexus is amazing and they’d all collectively been having a blast like five minutes ago. Leo glances from Donnie’s face into Mikey’s, hoping he might find a cue there—Donnie and Mikey are inseparable on a good day, like two pieces of a matching set, and Mikey understands him effortlessly—but Mikey’s expression draws him up short.
He’s not even looking at any of them. He’s looking down, half-hiding behind Donnie’s arm, quiet and impassive in a way that spells hurt. It reminds Leo of those days immediately after Dimension X, when Mikey snuck around the lair like it was full of dangers, when he kept looking at his siblings like he was trying to find cruelty where there wasn’t any. Sometimes Dimension X still creeps up on them like that. It’s never, ever a good sign when it does.
Alarm bells start going off in Leo’s head. They’ve been there since earlier that morning, since Mikey came up to the bridge and didn’t bring any sunshine with him, but now they’re loud.
“Dude, we literally just got here,” Raph is saying. He doesn’t sound confrontational, just honestly bewildered, but Donnie’s mouth twists like Raph just tried picking a fight with him.
“Fine, do what you want,” he snaps. “Have fun with these idiots.”
He grabs Mikey’s hand and starts to march off with him, back in the direction of the ship. Clearly he’s ready to get himself and Mikey the hell out of here, with or without the rest of them. Leo finally kicks himself into action.
“Hey,” he says, circling around to stand in their way. He puts a hand on each of their shoulders and says, “Talk to me.”
“They’re being mean to him, Leo,” Donnie says, too loud, boiling over. “We’re not staying here.”
It almost doesn’t make sense at first. It wouldn’t be the first time Donnie’s started talking in a foreign language just to trip his brothers up. Leo thinks maybe that’s what’s happening right now, and a glance around at the rest of his siblings only further substantiates the idea, because they all look as baffled as he feels.
“Mean to who?” April says, brow furrowed. “Mikey?”
“But that’s the dumbest shit I ever heard,” Casey blurts incredulously.
And the thing is, Leo thinks, it really is the dumbest shit he’s ever heard. Mikey is genuinely the most likable person in the universe. The really irritating side of him is a sibling-exclusive, a baby brother perk that these complete strangers would definitely not have had a chance to experience in less than three hours of his company.
He grew up navigating the tempers and pitfalls of three extreme, explosive personalities, courtesy of his big brothers, so he’s capable of getting along with just about anyone. He can smooth over any uncomfortable, tense situation with a smile. He rolls with the punches. Just being around him is a breath of fresh air.
So what the fuck?
“What the fuck?” Raph says out loud, hands tightening around the handles of his sai.
The aliens—juveniles of their species, since they’re in the same age bracket as Leo and his brothers, taller and broader than the turtles, but with a soft, round-eyed quality that they’ve yet to grow out of that gives their youth away—look markedly uncomfortable about this whole thing. They’re shuffling and avoiding direct eye-contact.
One of them says, “We didn’t mean anything by it. It’s tradition.”
“What, like hazing?” April asks coldly. The atmosphere around her is starting to prickle, like the build-up of energy before a big storm.
“It’s only because he’s—” The word they use doesn’t translate directly. The universal translator they’re each equipped with does its best, spitting out young/inexperienced/stupid as the closest interpretation, and all of Mikey’s siblings go stiff with fury.
Mikey isn’t looking at any of them. He’s got that vacant look on his face that he learned to wear after months alone in a hostile alien world, seemingly abandoned by his family, with no one to count on and no rescue coming. He had a bad night, and now he’s having a bad day, and it’s the last thing he deserves.
Leo can’t afford this. Anything that threatens to draw his siblings away from the fold is a threat to Leo’s entire world, and he’ll neutralize that threat no matter what interplanetary consequences spring up as a result.
It would be easy. It wouldn’t help a single thing.
So instead he glances at Donnie, inclining his head an inch to the left. Donnie is nearly blind with anger, but he still trusts Leo—it warms Leo to the very bottom of his soul that the trust wins. He’s reluctant to let go of Mikey’s hand, but he lets it go, and that’s what finally brings Mikey to look up.
And then Leo pounces.
Mikey makes a startled yelping noise, driven to the ground by the weight of his eldest brother, but it quickly morphs into laughter as they go rolling shell over shell across the warm grass. It’s like being transported back into the dojo where they learned to practice ninja—muscle-memory, the way Mikey twists out from underneath him and flips over Leo’s head, landing nimbly and then diving into a forward roll to avoid his next swipe and giggling the entire time.
To them, it’s play, in its purest form. They were learning how to jump and tumble when other babies their age were still mastering the crawl. Mikey comes alive when he’s on the move, more than any other time, and now his blue eyes are brighter than they’ve been all day.
Leo draws him into a tight kumite bout, and each micro-sequence between the two of them is clean and precise, and each blow would be potentially lethal if it landed. That crowd of kids—the ones who hurt Donatello by hurting Michelangelo—have gone tellingly quiet. Leo splits his attention from Mikey long enough to take in their wide eyes and slack mouths, and thinks, Good.
He can feel pride and satisfaction radiating from their siblings as he proves to this entire level of the Nexus that his baby brother is every bit the deadly assassin their father taught him to be. He can feel nothing but joy from Mikey as he’s swept up in the familiar motions, the fun, fast-paced back-and-forth.
And then Raph barrels in, and Mikey squeaks in combination terror-excitement. The others aren’t far behind.
It becomes less about something to prove, and more about the joy of the conversation. The call and response. All of them whirling around each other in a flurry of precious Hamato clan techniques, bright-eyed and dangerous and alive.
Alive, despite everything. Together.
Leo doesn’t need any stupid Battle Nexus to tell him he and his siblings are champions. He knows that already. They survived the end of the world, and the end of their world, and they’re still here.
The Daimyo finds them sprawled on the grass, breathless and vivified and poking fun at each other. The bullies have made themselves scarce, and the thundercloud on Donnie’s face has cleared into blue skies, and Mikey is laying with his head pillowed comfortably on Raph’s outstretched arm, sweet and content and unburdened for now.
“My, my,” the Daimyo says, warm and impressed, “what a skilled group of warriors you are. I will have to give this planet of yours a visit someday soon if these are the types of people who live there.”
“We’re not typical earthlings,” Leo admits. “And it’s, um—Earth isn’t exactly—”
“Just let us know when you’re ready to swing by,” Mikey pipes up. “We’ll roll out the welcome mat.”
We’ll be there, is what he means, rolling his head to look over at Leo with a smile. We’ll all be there. We’ll do what we came here to do and then we’ll get to go home.
“Yeah,” Leo says, feeling a little choked up. “Yes. You should see it, Daimyo-dono. It’s definitely worth the trip.”
Honeycutt comes over and settles down on the ground with the rest of them, flopping back in the dirt and starfishing his limbs in solidarity.
“Ahh, it’s so unfortunate that we were set back a day by those repairs,” the Professor says. “But I’m glad that you children made the best of it! Your spirits give me strength, you know.”
Leo can’t help but smile at him. His whole entire world is clustered around him, bickering and throwing clumps of dirt at each other. Mikey is laughing, his own brand of sunlight putting the twin suns in the sky above them to shame. They’re so far away from where they belong it’s a joke, but somehow, right at this second, it doesn’t feel that way.
“Thanks,” Leo says. It falls comically short. “Thank you.”

Mark Farina Halloween 2015 Live Set
Tumblr media
This is a 3-hour audio recording of Mark Farina Halloween 2015 live set recorded in Orange County, California, on October 31, 2015.
Mark F'ing Farina. Easily in the top 5 deep house dj's. Probably in the top three. Maybe in the top 2?
Come on. I've never heard someone deliver such deep funk so consistently. Every. Single. Time.
So this is an interesting recording. It's not from my archive of classic rave recordings, nor something recorded recently. This is the audio counterpart to a live video stream I did all the way back in 2015.
Today, post Covid, the mention of live streaming elicits not even a yawn, we are so desensitized to it by now. For obvious reasons, the real streaming revolution happened 2019-2021. So I consider it a little feather in my cap that Rave Tapes was running good-sounding, multi-cam streams long before the trend took off.
The event? A cozy Halloween party hosted by Swerve Underground, the monthly event hosted by producer/dj Wally Callerio of Dufflebag Recordings and partner/dj 1st Nature. Wally has been a respected producer for years and had the right connections to pull some amazing names down to their Orange County venue, an hour south of Los Angeles. Names like Dereck Carter, Doc Martin, and other titans of the deep house movement.
So when the opportunity came up to do a live video stream of their Halloween party, taking place in a cool bohemian art space, with special guest Mark Farina? Pfft. It was the chance I had been waiting for, lol!
So, miraculously, the whole thing went off almost without a hitch. I say almost because I believe power was cut to the decks at one point. But considering it was a 2+ hour set, we forgot about it almost instantly after power was restored. Otherwise, the internet connection was good, my gear held up. It happened. In fact, here's the video evidence:
youtube
So this is the audio to that. While the audio in the YouTube version sounds unbelievably clean, this sounds even better. I finally went back and properly mixed the four audio channels, left-right stereo pair from the dj decks, then left-right stereo pair from the room mic.
It sounds absolutely pristine, if I do say so myself. I had to decide how loud to keep the mic levels vs the feed from the dj mixer. I think I am happy with these levels but I might change my mind and update the file at some point.
The content? Well, it's good ol' reliable Mark Farina. Of course every dj has a "look" and Farina certainly has his trademark glasses and scruffy chin. But man, when you see that familiar visage behind the decks and hear the funky bass line over the system, you know you have nothing to worry about. You know you're in for a good time.
Last time I saw Farina was EDC 2022 Bionic Jungle stage. It was very late Sat night. Actually very early morning Sunday about 4 am. Still dark and trippy.
Saturday. Hump day. People are grinding in more ways than one. And Mark is closing out little Bionic Jungle. I don't mean little in a condescending way. Actually, the inconspicuousness of the stage is what made it so great. It was def an intimate space and you could get right up close to your favorite deep house dj's. My only issue that night was that it wasn't going to yield a complete Rave Tapes recording. Yes, I recorded while I danced there. But knew I was arriving late because of another set, and I knew I was leaving early because I don't like getting stuck in parking. While there may have been an hour of material, the other issue was there was a nasty buzzing coming from some vibrating stage rigging.
So that's probably why I'm mentioning EDC here, because it's a good opportunity to discuss it since there will never be a Rave Tapes recording from that night to link it to.
I guess my point is, be it at Swerve Halloween 2015, EDC 2022, or the other times I've heard Farina play, Farina always, ALWAYS, delivers a top shelf performance.
While I'm always eager to bring these live sets to you for the sake of your listening pleasure, truth be told, I get excited when posting these because in most cases it's the first time I get to have easy SoundCloud access to the mixes, too.
And with this one, I'm over-the-moon thrilled for completely selfish reasons ;)
Nevertheless, please enjoy!

I feel like New York City is a hotspot for pocket dimensions. Granted, it already feels like a whole other dimension on its own; but there are so many places within it that, if you’re there long enough, make you feel like you’re elsewhere. I’ve compiled a few I believe count.
1. Central Park and Central Park Zoo. The sounds of cars and the urban jungle are but a faint memory. You don’t need to rush down every street or else be mugged or trampled; you can rest, take your time, feed birds and pet dogs.
2. The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Located on the boundary between NYC and Central Park (I guess making it a pocket dimension within a pocket dimension), it’s basically void of sound apart from footsteps and the occasional sighs of awe. Full by beautiful artwork and sculpture with minimal windows (most of which are either translucent or show Central Park views only). There are whole multi-level buildings within this building. It’s utterly gargantuan and impossible to navigate without a map.
3. The Al Hirschfeld Theater. The current home of Moulin Rouge (and my blog’s banner). The city fades away as you step into a world bathed in red. Not the red of bloodshed, but the red of glamour and decadence, of passion and desire. The soothing synth-pop of the pre-show is so otherworldly. If you’re ever in New York City I can’t recommend it enough.
4. The NYC subway system (I never said the pocket dimensions had to be pleasant places or offer respite from the city). Replaces the hustle-and-bustle of up above with the completely different hustle-and-bustle of down below. The infinite black voids staring you down penetrated only by the routine gaze of subway train headlights gives it an eerie feeling. Also, to add more evidence to my argument, half the DNA found in the subway matches no known organism. It only makes sense that an otherworldly place has an otherworldly biosphere. Grand Central Station is also a pocket dimension within a pocket dimension in this regard.
5. The 9/11 Memorial. It’s almost peaceful, with all other noise drowned out (literally) by the massive waterfall fountains where the Twin Towers once stood. The thousands of names painstakingly carved into the stone of victims of that day, and a bronze mural for the first responders on the fire department building across the street. All the trees look and are arranged the same; the only exception is a single pear tree that survived the falling towers and was able to be nursed back to health. It still blooms today.
Will continue to update this list as I find more pocket dimensions in the city, and please feel free to add your own finds!

like at this point the only thing elite has going over SC is that it has a simulated galaxy with billions of star systems to go to (this is a negative in many aspects) and that it runs more stable, though i havent had an actual game crash or play ruining bug in SC in ages.
star citizen currently has a single star system unlike elite which has thousands of "populated" systems. but where SC has a single, fully fleshed out system with multiple, detailed landing zones, hundred of unique locations on all the planet and moons, tailor made missions and pvp events and every planet, moon, asteroid and space station being able to be landed on, elite has thousand empty stars. you can land on a planet (if you buy the dlc) but its just that. an empty rock. sometimes there is a copy pasted base you can do one of two things at, but you cant even go inside those. at best the planets are just background skyboxes. the space stations arent multi leveled structures you can go around and shop in, its a place to park and take off. and they all look the same everywhere. SC has some repetitive station designs but at least you can explore them.
few, well designed and rich systems > copy pasting the same shit 400 billion times for the sake of amount

Navigating Urban Challenges: The Smart Multi-Level Parking System
Tumblr media
In today’s rapidly expanding cities, finding a convenient parking spot can feel like a daily struggle. With urban populations booming and car ownership on the rise, parking is becoming an increasingly scarce commodity. Streets are congested, and available parking spaces are few and far between. But with the advent of smart multi-level parking systems, this growing challenge has a promising solution.
The use of multi-level car parking systems is not just a space-saving innovation; it’s an intelligent response to the urban parking crisis. These systems utilize advanced technology to maximize parking efficiency, offering flexibility through different configurations like stack parking and puzzle parking. By making use of vertical space, these multi-level parking systems can accommodate more cars in less ground area, while also offering improved security and ease of use.
Stack Parking: Ideal for saving maximum space
Klaus Multiparking’s stack parking systems are designed to double or triple parking capacity by allowing cars to be parked vertically. Whether above ground or in a basement, this solution is perfect for locations with limited horizontal space. Vehicles weighing up to 2.5 tonnes can be safely stored, ensuring both global standards of quality and superior safety.
Puzzle Parking: Enhanced efficiency and flexibility For those seeking greater flexibility, the puzzle parking system offers both vertical and horizontal movement of parking spaces. This smart parking system makes the most of available space while allowing quick and easy access to parked vehicles. Whether it’s a commercial or residential project, these systems provide a highly efficient way to address parking needs, with the added benefits of quiet operation and customizable design.
Fully Automated Parking: Advanced and futuristic solutions
Taking it a step further, Klaus Multiparking’s fully automated parking system combines cutting-edge technology with maximum convenience. Vehicles are automatically parked and retrieved with the touch of a button, optimizing space usage while offering the highest level of security. These systems can be installed above ground, below ground, or in hybrid configurations, making them adaptable to any urban landscape.
Why are the advantages of Klaus Multiparking?

I testified Thursday against the City Council Fair Chance for Housing Act, my second time in Council Chambers. The first was in May 2019 when I spoke personally and passionately about protecting New York City’s specialized high schools.
The bill, also known as Int. 632, is another City Council measure designed to protect lawbreakers at the expense of the law-abiding. It would prohibit criminal background checks on prospective tenants and buyers of residential housing.
After testifying, I left City Hall. It wasn’t until hours later that I heard the racist response to my testimony from Douglas Powell, who spoke on behalf of city-funded nonprofit Vocal-NY. He and his organization want individuals such as Powell, who has a criminal record and is a level 2 registered sex offender, to be able to access housing without criminal background checks.
His testimony laid out his criminal-justice experience and his lived experience of anti-black discrimination at Asian stores — culminating in a racist attack on the Asian community where he lives. In his three-minute tirade, he called Queens’ Rego Park the most racist neighborhood because it is majority Asian. “It’s not their neighborhood — they from China, Hong Kong,” he said. “We from New York.”
Convicted sex offender spews anti-Asian slurs during NYC Council meeting — and pols do nothing to stop him
This anti-Asian, perpetual-foreigner, “You don’t belong here” rhetoric is dangerous hate speech that incites violence. Unprovoked attacks on Asian New Yorkers are on the rise.
Powell’s racist rant was delivered in the presence of three councilmembers without interruption or admonishment. Committee chair Nantasha Williams even thanked Powell for his testimony. It’s as if his anti-Asian hate speech in the chamber was unremarkable white noise. It took hours, after online pressure from constituents, for those present to issue generic disapproval statements, retweeting other electeds’ condemnation, and say “both sides” share blame for systemic racism.
Like many Asian Americans, I am a property owner and small landlord. When I graduated, my parents encouraged me to live at home, pay off my debt and save to buy a property. I lived at home for a few years and paid off my student loans as quickly as I could. Decades later, I bought my first investment property. I rented mostly to young men and women at the start of their careers. As a landlord, I treated my tenants the way I wanted to be treated: fairly and responsively. I’m fortunate real-estate brokers and condo management could conduct criminal and credit checks, not only for my benefit but for the safety of neighbors in the building.
Powell spewed hateful, anti-Asian rhetoric at the council meeting.Stephen Yang
Asian Americans have the highest rate of home ownership in the city, 42%. The stability of owning property as a means of building wealth is deeply rooted in Asian culture. New York’s pro-tenant policies, especially the Emergency Rental Assistance Program, have resulted in heartbreaking stories from small-property landlords. The laws, intended to help tenants, some of whom lost jobs during COVID, disproportionately hurt immigrant landlords. Not only have they not been paid rent for three years; some living in multi-family units are terrorized by tenants who know they can’t evict. Many Asian property owners are working class, and their modest rental income helps pay for the mortgage, property taxes and unit upkeep.
While bad tenants existed before this bill, it would make things worse. Private-property owners should not bear the burden of unknowingly renting to convicted arsonists and murderers and letting them live next door to New Yorkers who want a safe place after a long day braving our unpredictable city streets and subways. We worry about higher insurance, liability in endangering other tenants and frivolous lawsuits in tenant-friendly courts. That becomes a cost-benefit question for owners — whether it’s worth it to rent with little profit.
Like most landlords, I don’t live in the building I rent, but I do worry about the tenants I rent to. I think of the kindhearted young Asian professional who pleaded with me to let her have a Hurricane Sandy rescue dog. I worry about the wheelchair-bound young man grateful to find independence in living in an accessible building and appreciative of me letting him install an automatic door opener for his convenience. I want them to have the peace of mind that when they return to their small haven in the city, they will be safe, among neighbors who won’t pose a risk to them.
The fight to save specialized high schools that brought me to council the first time galvanized many Asian voters who had never been involved in city politics before. I am one of those newly politicized voters. This year, I co-founded Asian Wave Alliance to make sure that Asian-American New Yorkers’ needs are not ignored by the very councilmembers who sat quietly and listened to Powell’s racist attacks.
This time, I went to council to convince the Committee on Human and Civil Rights and the bill’s sponsors that the Fair Chance for Housing Act is not “fair” at all to small landlords and already-existing tenants. Getting rid of reasonable safeguards like criminal background checks is not “fair” to the city’s law-abiding citizens and will put people in danger. True fairness requires listening to all New Yorkers and prioritizing safety and transparency.
