This might read stupidly obvious, seeing that I've dedicated a whole damn blog to building a paper model of this one castle that features in BBC Merlin, but bear with me.

I've honestly just recently realised the pure obsession I have for this castle, kind of as a manifestation of my obsession for the show naturally. There's just something about that castle y'know... Everything about it fills me with glee.

ughhhhhh. downloaded Firefox bc brave was messing up. they can't have it playing in the bg unless you do the mini screen. so I re installed brave to see if it would fix the messing up. it did but now apparently they can't play in the bg wo mini player either. hate.

Logan nearly threw up when he heard that final crack of Virgils bones being snapped back into place. Luckily that was the last one, cause he's not sure of how much longer he could take hearing those cracks. He opened his mouth to say something...before stopping. Unfortunately, Virgil, you'll have to deal with that pain over and over and over again... And there's nothing they can do to stop it-

"sucks to be you!" Sarah giggled, "You better get used to that pain, little one! Your lucky you just had to deal with Janus and his dicks! Wait until you have to fuck 20 guys by lunch! Now that'll be fun!" Sarah blinked and stared at him, "Did you read the contract he gave you at all? He showed it to me and it clearly states that he'll help you only if you do enough porn films to make up for the money it'll take to help Logan. Did you read that at all before you signed it?"

Logan couldn't stand the nuzzling this time, it made him sick to his stomach. He pushed Virgil away and moved to sit up. "Yeah... Terrific..." he mumbled to himself. "Yo, Sarah, can I have another bottle?"

"sure thing, pussycat!" Sarah hopped off the sofa and rushed off.

"Vee..." Logan sighed deeply as he rubbed his face, "I didn't want it to be like this. I didn't want... Why are you celebrating? Why are you happy? That pain... Sarah is right, he'll force you to fuck 20 guys in one night in front of a camera. That pain you just experienced... You'll have to deal with it over and over again... It's... My health is not worth it. My health is not worth your pain."

Logan didn't even notice that Virgil had passed out again, he was rambling off and off until he got suspicious that Virgil wasn't responding. That's when he looked down and...oh, he's passed out again. Alright. He stopped and nuzzled his face into Virgils shoulder...and continued to cry his eyes out.

But when Virgil suddenly started talking again, he jumped slightly. "O-Oh! Hey! I... You don't...?" His eyes were puffy and stained with his tears. "But why? I..." He frowned and shook his head, "Virgil... You don't need to do that. You didn't need to do this! I could've worked a deal out with Janus. I could've done something to help myself, I didn't want you to do anything for my sake. I..." he sniffled, "Janus is going to destroy you every single day until he is through with you. And it's all going to be my fault. Thank you for trying to make me feel better and get help but...seriously, Virgil, you shouldn't have-"

"Virgil?" Logan paused when he heard that crunch. That was...really gross sounding. What is happening... Oh... "Your bones are healing. Thank goodness, I... Vee?" He let go of Virgil, thinking he was the one that was causing Virgil pain. But, then it clued in.

"O-Oh! Shit! Right! It hurts the first time! Fuck, I forgot! I'm sorry. I..." Logan gently took Virgils hand from the sofa so he could claw up his paw. "Just don't tear up the sofa... Janus won't be happy to see that. I... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... There's nothing I can do to help you..." he wrapped his arms around Virgil and held him loosely in a hug, he even licked Virgils cheeks softly and nuzzled him. "You can scratch me instead. I don't care. I'll heal up, don't worry about it. Let's... Let's talk, that makes the time go by faster, Ive found."

Logan took a deep breath, "I've been thinking that i- Ah!"

Logan jumped again when nugget suddenly jumped up onto the sofa with them. The little guy stepped over him in order to reach Virgil, where he laid down next to his face and licked his nose.

"I forgot he was there too." Logan shook his head. "Vee..." he paused and blinked, "Your eye is black." He pointed to Virgils eye, "Your eye wasn't black before?"

sel have you thought about caregiver iwa? 😭😭😭 bec i have 😭😭😭 i watch this guy on yt who takes care of his grandma and a thought came to me.

you're neighbors with this sweet, lovely grandma living alone who welcomed you with a basket of cookies when you first moved. she checks in on you from time to time, brings you food and produce from her little garden. in return, you help her sometimes with chores and with her garden. you cook and bake together yadda yadda all the cute things we can do with a cute grandma. (i'm sucker for stories where a younger-ish person builds friendship and connection with an older person 😭) oh and of course, sweet, lovely grandma tells you about his equally sweet, lovely, and goodlooking grandson working as a gym trainer/owns a gym downtown. he visits from time to time (but for some reason you never catch a glimpse).

then something happened that renders sweet, lovely grandma to need a caregiver (or just like someone to live with her). of course bec iwa loves his grandma so much, he took the role!!! (i imagine him to be big grandma's boy!!!!). made arrangements to be with grandma and still maintain his gym work (a mulitasking, time management king!!)

the first time you met it was kinda awkward bec instead of grandma opening the door, it's an intimidating, big guy with a handsome face but suprisingly gentle eyes (awooga!!). then grandma introduce you to each other. you find out grandma also tells iwa about you. (awooga pt. 2). sweet, lovely grandma is lowkey scheming to get you two together. they explain that iwa will be staying with grandma permanently (and of course, you're still very much welcome to spend time with grandma and maybe iwa? wink wink). talking to iwa is so easy with his gentleness and humor (and did you know he snorts when he laughs very hard). somehow this grandma-grandson duo wormed their way into your heart. THEY TAKE CARE OF YOU!!

like when you got sick with the flu. grandma urge iwa to check up on you and bring the chicken soup she made. (iwa did not even need to be told, bec at this point he alreadt cares for you). he stayed with you until you fell asleep. he does not want to leave you alone but he needs to take care of his grandma. (or maybe he asked you to stay with them at their house while you're still sick, you know they have a spare bedroom and all, so why not??)

imagine seeing iwa and grandma in the garden doing their early light morning exercise (but its mainly for grandma). iwa coaching his grandma (lets go grandma, one more stretch!!) (its so cute in my mind). idk how you two will end up together but you will end up together (i used up all my brain cells now lol). i'm sorry for the incoherent iwa caregiver gym trainer loving grandson word vomit. he just fits this au/role so much i'm gonna cry.

mai life update. my proposal thesis defense went unexpectedly great. the panel accepted my paper with only slight technical revisions. but they're pressuring me to finish it by march 2024 bec the topic might have potential for the national psych undergrad research contest (this is not the name, i just forgot hahahaha. dear research panel, i just want to finish my thesis and then graduate. (tho it gave me academic validation once again). also, my new notebook binder arrived today!!! i'm so excited to use it. i'm gonna use for my self-study review for the psychometrician board exam awooo.

I can feel myself going into a book decline but I will not allow myself to.

So, I found this book when I was looking for vampire books to binge. It caught my eye because of the description and yes, this time I did in fact check to see if it was a completed series.

This book moved slowly and then all at once. It went from I hate vampires to I love vampires and their lightsabers. The FL, Alina, is a vampire hunter. A Van Helsing and if she's anything like her predecessor Gabriel Van Helsing (As played by Hugh Jackman's fine ass), we know she's hot to trot and dangerous. Except she has a problem. She's supposed to hate vampires and has a plan to kill Dracula but as soon as she see's her professor Lincoln, everything goes to shit.

For someone whose so obsessed with her revenge and upholding her family name, she sure loves vampire lightsabers. Not just one lightsaber though, she also like Andrei's lightsaber. Oooo I wonder if they'll cross swords too? I mean, it's usually the case with soul mate books, it's almost a given that there will be sword crossing.

I like how Alina can hold her own in a fight, she's not the usual "i'll let my mate handle this" type of girl. Which is good and bad ass. On addition to that, I like how she actually beat her bully up instead of holding her tongue. I however don't like how the author made Alina and Lincoln mates right away. It should've been done when Alina actually knew the consequences of her actions. ALSO, i don't like how Andrei immediately freaked and accused Alina of trying to trick and trap him *insert eye roll here*. It don't like a lick of sense? Like, aren't creatures such as vampires, demons etc poly in this series? So how could he think that she couldn't have more than one mate.

Now that i'm talking about mulitasking mates, I need to talk about the elephant in the room. Dracula is also her mate... did not see that coming. I thought that Dracula would be the antagonists considering he's the one who sent people to kill her family... or did her? SUSPICIOUS.
