why was muffy introduced by stalking elise outside of her home at night only for her to never do anything like that again. what

i played the lgts demo last night and i adore it but omg i had the weirdest dream where like I was in my room n it was like sleep paralysis except there wasn't any shadowy figure or monster at all but when i looked around the room i just saw this thing in the corner like a game icon and it freaked the shit out of me
