So I was too tired to write anything new for today so I thought I would upload a bit of a plan for the screenplay I’ve wanted to write for years, but recently started thinking about again. Bearing in mind this is basically a WIP of a WIP, it’s alright. It’s the ides, I can’t upload nothing.

A bedroom, barely lit. Morning light coming through the cracks in a curtain to lie across a double bed. Two men are lying in the bed. Both are largely covered by the bed covers. On the left sleeps a deeply tanned man with dark brown, maybe black, curly hair. This is RAFFLES. He is asleep, lying on his side. On the right lies a slightly smaller man, chubby, with pale skin and blond hair. This is BUNNY. He is awake, staring up at the ceiling. He turns his head to look at the other man, kisses him lightly on the forehead, then gets out of bed.

BUNNY, sitting at a wooden desk. His hair is sticking up and he’s wearing a too big dressing gown, loose at the waist. On the desk in front of him is a stack of plain sheets of paper, a pencil, and a cup of coffee. The curtains are still drawn and the room is lit by an electric lamp on the desk. Bunny takes a gulp of coffee, then puts pencil to paper and starts scribbling something out. The words cannot be seen.

BUNNY is chewing his pencil, staring at the sheet but not focussing on it. About half the sheets are covered in writing and have been stacked up to the side.

RAFFLES opens the curtains. Light fills the room as the curtains are drawn back. A bright, pale light fills the room. It is tidy but not at all minimalist. The walls are lined with bookshelves, filled with books but also trinkets and cricket memorabilia. Paintings and prints line the walls, as well as some poems. The carpet is a rich burgundy and there is a large blue sofa in the middle of the room, facing the fire. In front of it is a coffee table with a stack of magazines and newspapers on it. A whiskey decanter and glasses is on a side table.

Raffles walks up behind Bunny’s chair. He wraps a bare arm around Bunny’s chest and leans his chin against his shoulder. He reaches out and takes a sip of the coffee. After a second he spits it back out into the cup. He says that it’s cold in a disgusted voice.

RAFFLES is in a small kitchen, leaning against a worktop and stirring a pot of coffee. He has pulled on a pair of green cotton pyjama trousers and a loose fitting matching shirt.

RAFFLES carries the coffee pot and a cup into the front room. It is unoccupied. There is a stack of paper on the desk, covered in writing. Raffles locks the paper in a desk drawer then sits down on the sofa and drinks his coffee. He picks up a newspaper from the coffee table and flicks through it, only focussing on an article for a moment before moving on. About half way through the newspaper he concentrates on one page. Then he closes the paper hurriedly and throws it haphazardly back on the coffee table.

A small room with some old, damaged furniture that looks like it was once grand. BUNNY is sitting at a desk, smoking a cigarette. He is holding a letter and frowning slightly as he reads it. On the desk there is an envelope addressed to ‘Mr Henry Manders, 28 Mount Street’. Bunny drops the letter and stubs out the cigarette in a polished glass ashtray. He stands up and walks out into the hall. Picking up a telephone receiver, he dials a number. After a moment he says ‘AJ? I got it!’ He smiles as half heard speech comes through the receiver.

RAFFLES and BUNNY in evening dress, sitting at a small table in a good sized room. The lighting is low and the walls are papered in a deep red. There are maybe twenty other people in the room, all men of varying ages. There is a background noise of conversation but nothing loud or boisterous. Raffles and Bunny both have glasses of whiskey and are sipping them as they talk. Raffles is asking Bunny what the papers want him to write. Bunny’s responses are short and vague. Raffles is talking a lot, smiling widely and occasionally raising his glass in mock-toast. After a while he puts it down, glances carefully around the room, then takes Bunny’s hand in his. His smile becomes softer and he lowers his voice, reassuring Bunny that the paper will love his work and that this is the best thing to have happened. Bunny smiles back and neither of them speak, until a waiter comes up and Raffles carefully releases Bunny’s hand.

RAFFLES and BUNNY standing in the shadow of a building. It’s dark and they are in a garden. Bunny is scuffing his feet against the mudm his hands stuck in his overcoat pockets. Raffles is leaning over a door handle, picking a lock. He is wearing black leather gloves.

RAFFLES and BUNNY in a library, Raffles carefully cracking a safe. Bunny is standing with his ear to the door. All that can be heard is the clicking of the safe. A louder click and an exhale as the door opens. Bunny moves away from the door and toward the safe. Raffles hands him two jewellery cases and Bunny carries them over to the desk and opens them. One holds a diamond necklace and the other a silver tiara style thing. He closes and pockets them.

RAFFLES and BUNNY in Raffles’ living room, unpacking the jewellery. Raffles is smiling at Bunny, talking about how successful the night was. Bunny is shaking slightly but also smiling. They are both smoking cigarettes. Raffles sits down next to Bunny and takes his hand. Bunny kisses him.

In the hallway before Raffles’ front door. RAFFLES helps BUNNY into his coat then takes down his top hat. He hugs Bunny and whispers that he’s sorry, puts Bunny’s hat on him then releases him. He opens the door and Bunny steps out. Raffles closes the door and slowly walks out of the hallway.

El presidente de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, llegó a la sede del Tribunal Supremo de Justicia (TSJ), centro de Caracas, para ofrecer este domingo su mensaje anual a la nación.

El máximo órgano judicial resolvió que el Presidente debe rendir su mensaje anual en el que dará cuenta de los aspectos políticos, económicos, sociales y administrativos de su gestión durante el año inmediatamente anterior, ante el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia, en transmisión conjunta de radio y televisión, para llegar a la mayor cantidad de venezolanas y venezolanos.

Sobre la declaratoria del abandono del cargo por parte de la AN, Maduro respondió: Yo estoy ejerciendo todas mis funciones constituciones en día a día (…) habrá justicia frente a tanto desacato y conspiración.

“Lamento no estar presentando esta memoria y cuenta en la AN (…) Quienes hoy dominan la Asamblea Nacional quieren violar las constitución y la sentencias del TSJ”

Yo siempre le pido al cristo para que yo sea un presidente de dialogo, de paz y entendimiento (…) yo plantee hace un año el diálogo. Nadie puede quitar importancia al diálogo político con la dirigencia de la MUDm señaló el presidente.

Hace un años en la AN los convoque a un diálogo político, les pedí que reconocieran al presidente al diputado Ramos Allup, quien sigue siendo el presidente.

Los invité en varias a oportunidades para reunirnos y discutir varios puntos y se negaron. Luego pidieron realizar un diálogo y les cumplí con sus peticiones, pidieron que vinieran los expresidentes y los trajimos.

Por petición del MUD se instaló en secreto en República Dominica la primera sesión de diálogo, así comenzó la viacrucis de la oposición.

Seguimos ratificando el camino del diálogo, por eso los llamé para reunirnos en julio y me pidieron que llamara al Vaticano, y el papa Francisco nombró a un delegado y así fue como por fin se estableció la mesa de diálogo.

El primer mandatario realizó varios anunció durante la cadena nacional de radio y televisión de este domingo 15 de enero:
