We are a laid back, happy pair, who get a kick out of creating beautiful and bespoke makeup looks.  We have over 15 years experience in all areas of makeup artistry and we have a really cool studio just off Buchanan Street in Glasgow city centre.  For us, it's all about making you look absolutely gorgeous and making sure you have a great experience.

Step back in time! Which 20th century vintage era do you visit? And why? Rhona - 1920's, it was the party era of the century. Sarah - The 1950's the birth of rock and roll and the cat eye.

Tell us a personal story about following your heart or making a big commitment? We met working at a high end makeup brand and quickly became good pals, thanks to a shared sense of humour and our obsessive makeup addiction.  The start of 2015 was pretty tough personally for us both and during one of those lunches where you put the world to rights, we had an idea which would change our lives in the best possible way. Mitchell and Macinnes Makeup was born out of our desire to offer the people of Glasgow and beyond a makeup experience that is tailored to each individual.  We wanted to create an environment where makeup and beauty could be celebrated in all their forms, and the advice we give to be unbiased and truly helpful.  We now have a really cool studio in the heart of Glasgow City Centre that is an oasis of calm, good music and a pretty spectacular makeup cupboard.

Inspire us! Can you share any exciting trends or precious tips to help with wedding planning? It's all about gorgeous, expensive looking skin just now.  Whether going for a vintage, bronzed goddess or classic look, invest in and look after your skin....the rest will follow.
