luke gets bored when he’s sitting at home for too long, and on long afternoons like that he finds himself at your front door knocking because you didn’t answer the ten messages he had already sent. when you answer the door in just your towel, raising an eyebrow up at him, he would insist that he wouldn’t have had to interrupt you like this if you’d have checked his messages. you roll your eyes and let him inside, asking him what’s up as you head back into your room and find some clothes to wear. he grins and sprawls out on your mattress, playing with things on your nightstand as he explains that he wants to take you out today; maybe to the beach or to get some ice-cream, whatever you want. you smile a little to yourself because you know luke, and you know he gets bored and clingy when he’s been away from you for too long. once you finish changing, you crawl into bed with him and lay on his back, listening to the way his breath comes out in one heavy, surprised gust as he adjusts to having you there. “we’re gonna go have fun?” you ask, grinning as you kiss his shoulder. and luke nods and mumbles into your pillow that you will whenever you decide to let him up.

Ok basically I'm like the worst Secret Santa ever, but finally I am able to present my main gift to the wonderful person receiving all my wonderful messages if i do say so myself.

'ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOOOOOU!' you sang, placing baubles onto the branches of the large tree in your parents' living room.

  'Who do you want?' You heard Michael call from the kitchen, no doubt stuffing his face with delicious holiday treats.

  You rolled your eyes. 'You!' you called back.

  Michael emerge with three mince pies stacked in his hands. 'Well there's not much point singing it if you already have me,' he said childishly.

  'Don't ruin my spirits Michael, or I'll hide the rest of the mince pies.'

  His eyes widened. 'You wouldn't dare!' he said in mock hurt.

  'Oh but I would, you know how much I love Christmas so please, don't ruin my mood.' you said, kissing his cheek before adding a snowflake ornament to the tree. Michael threw himself down on the couch, eating his pies.

  A few minutes later, he groaned loudly. 'I'm bored!'

  'Come help me then,' you said, adjusting the tinsel.

  'Fine,' he huffed. He leant against the wall near you, watching you work.

  The box of decorations was emptying quickly and the only thing Michael had done was pick up a handful of small plastic candy canes  and occasionally throw them at you to get your attention.

  'Michael! If all you're going to do is stand there and annoy me then go! You said disappointedly.

  'But you're so cute when you're putting everything on!' he protested. You raised one of your eyebrows.

  'Well you do! You stick out your tongue a bit and scrunch up your face when you're deciding where to put something,' he said, putting an arm around your waist.

  'Well it is a very important job. The distribution of Christmas ornaments on the tree must be evenly spread,' you said wisely, trying not to blush at what he had said.

  He laughed and kissed your nose. 'This is why I love you so much.' he said.

  You blushed even more and picked up the golden star that was to go on top.

  'Would you care to do the honours?' you asked, handing it to him.

  'I would love to,' he said, hardly even having to reach to place it on the tip of the tree. 'See, I told you I would help.'

When I thought this up I tried to pair Calum, but he just wasn't annoying enough (in a good way)
