The actual worst part is that I kind of want to watch this whole movie over again immediately and do a (single-post) reaction post in bullet points from beginning to end. Not even sure if I want to be snarky or attempt to explain the parts that I genuinely enjoy, if only because they feed the part of my brain that craves super-angsty and tearful emotional hurt/comfort, no matter how overwrought.

...probably mostly snarky though; despite my lack of mentioning it during this quasi-live blog experience, there is a lot to crack up about. Husband will testify to the fact that regularly howled with laughter and paused to jubilantly update him on such important events as “they’re having a metaphorical dick-measuring contest Battle of the Band Instruments: CELLO vs. GUITAR!” and “WHY DOES HE STILL HAVE DIRT ALL OVER HIS FACE. It’s been like 24 hours. how has she not made him at least stop by a bathroom and splash water on his skin”

#also just the inherent ridiculousness of Heathcliff being an Emo Blond Surfer Type is always funn #(I know I said Teenage Dream. he can be both)#when britney spears' character said 'he's so stupid and awesome' on How I Met Your Mother this is what she meant #mtv wuthering heights spiral #ANYWAY.
