SEVENTH SUNDAY OF PASCHA: THE FATHERS OF THE FIRST ECUMENICAL COUNCIL
Tumblr media
On the seventh Sunday of Pascha, we commemorate the holy God-bearing Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council.
The Commemoration of the First Ecumenical Council has been celebrated by the Church of Christ from ancient times. The Lord Jesus Christ left the Church a great promise, “I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Mt. 16:18). Although the Church of Christ on earth will pass through difficult struggles with the Enemy of salvation, it will emerge victorious. The holy martyrs bore witness to the truth of the Savior’s words, enduring suffering and death for confessing Christ, but the persecutor’s sword is shattered by the Cross of Christ.
Persecution of Christians ceased during the fourth century, but heresies arose within the Church itself. One of the most pernicious of these heresies was Arianism. Arius, a priest of Alexandria, was a man of immense pride and ambition. In denying the divine nature of Jesus Christ and His equality with God the Father, Arius falsely taught that the Savior is not consubstantial with the Father, but is only a created being.
A local Council, convened with Patriarch Alexander of Alexandria presiding, condemned the false teachings of Arius. However, Arius would not submit to the authority of the Church. He wrote to many bishops, denouncing the decrees of the local Council. He spread his false teaching throughout the East, receiving support from certain Eastern bishops.
Investigating these dissentions, the holy emperor Constantine (May 21) consulted Bishop Hosius of Cordova (Aug. 27), who assured him that the heresy of Arius was directed against the most fundamental dogma of Christ’s Church, and so he decided to convene an Ecumenical Council. In the year 325, 318 bishops representing Christian Churches from various lands gathered together at Nicea.
Among the assembled bishops were many confessors who had suffered during the persecutions, and who bore the marks of torture upon their bodies. Also participating in the Council were several great luminaries of the Church: Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia (December 6 and May 9), Saint Spyridon, Bishop of Tremithos (December 12), and others venerated by the Church as holy Fathers.
With Patriarch Alexander of Alexandria came his deacon, Athanasius [who later became Patriarch of Alexandria (May 2 and January 18)]. He is called “the Great,” for he was a zealous champion for the purity of Orthodoxy. In the Sixth Ode of the Canon for today’s Feast, he is referred to as “the thirteenth Apostle.”
The emperor Constantine presided over the sessions of the Council. In his speech, responding to the welcome by Bishop Eusebius of Caesarea, he said, “God has helped me cast down the impious might of the persecutors, but more distressful for me than any blood spilled in battle is for a soldier, is the internal strife in the Church of God, for it is more ruinous.”
Arius, with seventeen bishops among his supporters, remained arrogant, but his teaching was repudiated and he was excommunicated from the Church. In his speech, the holy deacon Athanasius conclusively refuted the blasphemous opinions of Arius. The heresiarch Arius is depicted in iconography sitting on Satan’s knees, or in the mouth of the Beast of the Deep (Rev. 13).
The Fathers of the Council declined to accept a Symbol of Faith (Creed) proposed by the Arians. Instead, they affirmed the Orthodox Symbol of Faith. Saint Constantine asked the Council to insert into the text of the Symbol of Faith the word “consubstantial,” which he had heard in the speeches of the bishops. The Fathers of the Council unanimously accepted this suggestion.
In the Nicean Creed, the holy Fathers set forth and confirmed the Apostolic teachings about Christ’s divine nature. The heresy of Arius was exposed and repudiated as an error of haughty reason. After resolving this chief dogmatic question, the Council also issued Twelve Canons on questions of churchly administration and discipline. Also decided was the date for the celebration of Holy Pascha. By decision of the Council, Holy Pascha should not be celebrated by Christians on the same day with the Jewish Passover, but on the first Sunday after the first full moon of the vernal equinox (which occured on March 22 in 325).
HIEROMARTYR LUCIAN , BISHOP OF BEAUVAIS, AND THOSE WITH HIM IN FRANCE (96)
Tumblr media
The Hieromartyr Lucian lived in Rome, and his pagan name was Lucius. He was converted to Christ by the Apostle Peter, and was baptized. After Saint Peter’s death, Saint Lucian preached the Gospel in Italy. Saint Dionysius the Areopagite (October 3), a disciple of Saint Paul, arrived in Rome at this time. At the request of Saint Clement, Pope of Rome (November 25), he agreed to preach the Gospel in the West, and gathered companions and helpers for this task. Saint Clement consecrated Saint Lucian a bishop, then sent him off with Saint Dionysius, Saints Marcellinus and Saturninus, the Presbyter Maximian, and the Deacon Julian.
The holy preachers sailed from Italy to Gaul (modern France). Saint Marcellinus and those accompanying him continued on to Spain. Saint Saturninus went to Gaul, and Saint Dionysius and the others went to the region of Paris. From there Saint Lucian went to Belgium with Maximian and Julian.
Saint Lucian’s preaching was very successful. By the power of his words and the example of his life, he converted a large number of pagans to Christianity. Saint Lucian was a strict ascetic, and all day long he ate only a morsel of bread and some water. Towards the converted he was kindly, always joyful and cheerful of face. Soon almost all the settlements of Belgium were converted to Christ.
During this period, the Roman emperor Dometian (81-96) initiated a second persecution against Christians (after that of Nero, 54-68), and he issued an edict prescribing torture and execution for anyone who refused to offer sacrifice to the pagan gods.
Three officials were sent to Belgium to carry out the edict. The Lord revealed to Saint Lucian the ordeal facing him. He gathered the flock together, urging them not to fear threats, tortures or death, and then he gave thanks to God for granting him the possibility of joining the company of the holy martyrs. After praying, Saint Lucian and the priest Maximian and Deacon Julian withdrew to the summit of a hill, where he continued to teach the people who came with him.
Here the soldiers of the emperor came upon the saints and led them away for trial. Saints Maximian and Julian were urged to renounce Christ and offer sacrifice to idols, but both refused and were beheaded.
Then the judge began to interrogate Saint Lucian, accusing him of sorcery and disobedience to the emperor and Senate. The saint replied that he was not a sorcerer, but rather a servant of the true God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and he refused to offer sacrifice to idols made by human hands.
The saint was subjected to fierce beatings, during which he repeated, “Never will I cease to praise Christ, the Son of God, in my heart, and with my lips.” Then the holy martyr was beheaded. A heavenly light shone over his body, and the Voice of the Savior was heard, summoning the valiant sufferer into the heavenly Kingdom to receive the martyr’s crown. By the power of God the saint stood up, picked up his severed head, and crossed over the river. Reaching the burial spot he had chosen, he lay down upon the ground and reposed in peace.
Because of this great miracle about 500 pagans were converted to Christ. Later, a church was built over Saint Lucian’s grave, to which the relics of the martyrs Maximian and Julian were transferred.

ACTS 20:16-18, 28-36
16 For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he would not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the Day of Pentecost. 17 From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church. 18 And when they had come to him, he said to them: "You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you, 28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. 31 Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears. 32 So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 33 I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. 34 Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. 35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' 36 And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.
JOHN 17:1-13
1 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. 6 I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. 8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me. 9 I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

Poppy and her best friend group realized that it had been WAY too long since they all got together so they made plans to party at a lounge in Mt. Komorebi for New Year’s Eve. With all of them having kids now and her friends also being married, their lives were super busy which led to them neglecting their friendships.
Tonight, they rekindled them and had a blast dancing together like old times, despite Poppy and Myra being heavily pregnant and unable to drink. 😅
Who showed up, like he always did? Blane Hawthorne. Poppy and him started dancing and making out and her friends knew she’d be occupied for the rest of the night. 😂

My first build in what seems like an age.  I’ve been obsessed with watching Tiny House shows on Youtube and the idea of converted containers appealed to me after I saw a bunch in a row. This was inspired by two particular builds found on the Living Big in a Tiny House channel.
Uses CC
It was made specifically for the Mid-Nowhere lot in Windenburg but you could probably make it fit in Strangerville, Glimmerbrook or Willow Creek.
Tiny Living - 95 tiles
Sleeps four people (two couples or REALLY close friends), if folks are game enough to use the Murphy bed.
Not on the Gallery (I don’t post builds that include CC)
Be sure to turn on bb.moveobjects before you place it.

Camping at Rainbow Pass along Phillips Ridge earlier this summer on a fastpacking trip in Strathcona Park. A group of us headed over for the weekend back in early August in hopes of summiting the Golden Hinde while exploring the park for the first time, but the forecast called for poor visibility. So instead, we decided we’d continue along Phillips Ridge to complete the horseshoe route to Buttle Lake, before climbing up and over Mt. Phillips and back to our car at Myra Mine. The horseshoe is a fairly popular and well-documented route which is said to take 4-6 days to hike. We had also read about the possibility of closing the loop by climbing up and over Mt. Phillips, but this section of the route would be sparsely flagged (if at all), requiring bushwhacking, route finding, and some scrambling. We were confident we could complete the entire loop in two long days, with the comfort of knowing we had our camping gear with us in case of emergency. Our two day itinerary would turn into three exciting days of adventure, ultimately requiring the help of some friendly strangers we had met along the way. I’ll share photos of some of the incredible scenery along with the entire story in the coming days. Stay tuned! https://instagr.am/p/CGOWOb-HY_S/

A WEEKEND IN KELOWNA
Kelowna and the surrounding Okanagan Valley continue to entice. From lush vineyards to golden highlands, sprawling lakes and scenic rocky perches, a fascinating mix of urban and rural, the ever-growing city holds rewards for every type of traveller, and each visit brings a new discovery.
We returned to Kelowna again this past September, exploring the burgeoning craft brewery scene in the city's North End, biking the new Okanagan Rail Trail along the always stunning Kalamalka Lake, hiking the grassy flanks of Mt Boucherie, and enjoying a morning horseback ride through Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. It’s hard not to find the landscapes surrounding the city incredibly evocative and inspiring, the dry pine forests and aromatic deserts and golden light filtered through orchards and vineyards. Each time we visit it feels like we uncover a whole new set of places to save and savour for next time.

Day 16, 5th Sept, Menaggio
Di, Myra and I headed off to Villa del Balbianello today. There is a little train that takes you along the waterfront to get there. It is very easy to get around from Menaggio. It’s been a great spot to stay. Glenice and Maggie were going to have an easy day.
Tumblr media
Beautiful big villas along the way. Everything is so green here. Lots of hedges and ivy. I’m getting ideas for my balcony.
Tumblr media
We loved this display. Spritz has become our holiday drink.
Tumblr media
The villa is at the end of a peninsular so there was a bit of a trek to get there.
Tumblr media
Love the tile and slate roofs you see around the place.
Tumblr media
The villa has extensive gardens so some of the gardeners were out cutting the hedges. Cute little truck to drive around in.
Tumblr media
Me with Lake Como in the background. There were a number of the flash timber boats moored off the villa. In the past people arrived by boat as the main entrance to the villa was down near the water.
Tumblr media
This lovely building was as you entered the main gates on top of the hill. They had a video playing about the life of Guido Manzino, the last owner of the villa. Manzino was born into a very wealthy family. His Mother came from an aristocratic family and his Father owned the second largest chain of department stores in Italy. Manzinno did go into the business but his passion was mountaineering and exploration. He lead expeditions to all the major mountains as well as too the North Pole. He shunned society and had a close group of mountaineer buddies. He never married and didn’t like the attention his exploits and achievements bought.
Tumblr media
Manzino was a huge collector. He bought the villa after his last expedition to Mt Everest in 1974. By this stage it needed restoration which he worked on. Manzino wanted the villa to be a learning centre of exploration. The villa only had one guest bedroom so he didn’t like people staying over. At the bottom near the lake was an apartment for his Mother.
Tumblr media
The gardens were superb.
Tumblr media
There was a wedding going on when we arrived. You can hire different parts of the buildings and gardens for varying amounts. A wedding on this terrace would cost €2000 for half an hour. To use the garden, after closing, would cost over €20,000 for a function. Most people that hire the spaces don’t come from Italy. This wedding the people came from China.
Tumblr media
Everywhere you looked was stunning.
Tumblr media
This was the map room. Each room had a massive chandelier in its centre.
Tumblr media
The views were spectacular from every vantage point. The trees are pruned every year under the guidance of the retired head gardener.
Tumblr media
Upstairs was a room dedicated to part of Monzino’s massive collection of artefacts from around the world. Some pieces date back 2000 years BC.
Tumblr media
This was the sled they used to go to the North Pole. It was an extremely punishing, exhausting trip and Manzino did not want to lead any more expeditions but the Italian Government wanted him to conquer Mt Everest for Italy which he did with the help of the army.
Tumblr media
It’s funny to see what they carried on these early expeditions.
Tumblr media
These figures came from Greenland. He was an avid collector of amazing artefacts.
Tumblr media
Monzino’s outfit he wore when he received awards from the Catholic Church.
Tumblr media
Monzino’s bedroom. He collected French furniture.
Tumblr media
Formal sitting room.
Tumblr media
Monzino watched TV in this room.
Tumblr media
The room was lowered by a metre to fit in the French panels he had purchased.
Tumblr media
This area was used for a Bond movie.
Tumblr media
Beautiful tapestry and chandelier in the dining room.
Tumblr media
He had monographs on his silverware. The chandelier was reflected in the plate. The chandeliers right through the villa were amazing.
Tumblr media
This was Monzino Mother’s apartment.
Tumblr media
Fabulous views out the windows.
Tumblr media
Looking out to the lake.
Tumblr media
We decided to catch a water taxi back around to the mainland. Di and Myra.
Tumblr media
Down by the lake.
Tumblr media
The villa was originally built in the 1700′s by a cardinal and has a church look in this section. Other owners over the years improved both the villa and the gardens. On Manzino’s death he bequeathed the villa to the Italian National Trust and it is now their prime property and most visited.
Tumblr media
The villa from the water. It was much bigger going through it than I had thought from looking at it from the water.
Tumblr media
We caught a water taxi from the villa around the point to where the little train was and were we could have lunch.
Tumblr media
Aperol Spritz for lunch by the lake.
Tumblr media
Gorgeous vistas.
Tumblr media
The drive back along the lake was lovely.
Tumblr media
Dinner on the square later that night.

Hieromartyr Dorotheus, Bishop of Tyre
Tumblr media
The Hieromartyr Dorotheus was bishop of the Phoenician city of Tyre, during the time of the persecution against Christians under the emperor Diocletian (284-305). Heeding the words of the Gospel (Mt.10:23), the saint withdrew from Tyre and hid from the persecutors. He returned to Tyre during the reign of Saint Constantine the Great (306-337, May 21), again occupying the bishop’s throne he guided his flock for more than fifty years, and converted many of the pagans to Christianity. When the emperor Julian the Apostate (361-363) began openly to persecute Christians, Saint Dorotheus was already over 100 years old. He withdrew from Tyre to the Myzean city of Udum (present day Bulgarian Varna). Delegates of the emperor arrested him there for his refusal to offer sacrifice to idols. They began to torture the holy Elder, and under torture he surrendered his soul to the Lord (+ ca. 362) at the age of 107.
Some ascribe to Saint Dorotheus the compilation of a work, “The Synopsis”, a collection of sayings, and including lives of the holy prophets and apostles
Venerable Dorotheus of Gaza
Tumblr media
The Holy Abba Dorotheus was a disciple of Saint John the Prophet in the Palestinian monastery of Abba Seridus in the sixth century.
In his youth he had zealously studied secular science. “When I sought worldly knowledge,” wrote the abba, “it was very difficult at first. When I would come to take a book, I was like a man about to touch a wild beast. When I forced myself to study, then God helped me, and diligence became such a habit that I did not know what I ate, what I drank, whether I had slept, nor whether I was warm or not. I was oblivious to all this while reading. I could not be dragged away by my friends for meals, nor would I even talk with them while I was absorbed in reading. When the philosopher let us go, I went home and washed, and ate whatever was prepared for me. After Vespers, I lit a lamp and continued reading until midnight.” — so absorbed was Abba Dorotheus in his studies at that time.
He devoted himself to monastic activity with an even greater zeal. Upon entering the monastery, he says in his tenth Instruction, he decided that his study of virtue ought to be more fervent than his occupation with secular science had been.
One of the first obediences of Abba Dorotheus was to greet and to see to pilgrims arriving at the monastery. It gave him opportunity to converse with people from various different positions in life, bearing all sorts of burdens and tribulations, and contending against manifold temptations. With the means of a certain brother Saint Dorotheus built an infirmary, in which also he served. The holy abba himself described his obedience, “At the time I had only just recovered from a serious illness. Travellers would arrive in the evening, and I spent the evening with them. Then camel drivers would come, and I saw to their needs. It often happened that once I had fallen asleep, other things arose requiring my attention. Then it would be time for Vigil.” Saint Dorotheus asked one of the brethren to wake him up for for Vigil, and another to prevent him from dozing during the service. “Believe me,” said the holy abba, “I revered and honored them as though my salvation depended upon them.”...keep reading
Acts: 27:1-44 NKJV
27 And when it was decided that we should sail to Italy, they delivered Paul and some other prisoners to one named Julius, a centurion of the Augustan Regiment. 2 So, entering a ship of Adramyttium, we put to sea, meaning to sail along the coasts of Asia. Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, was with us. 3 And the next day we landed at Sidon. And Julius treated Paul kindly and gave him liberty to go to his friends and receive care. 4 When we had put to sea from there, we sailed under the shelter ofCyprus, because the winds were contrary. 5 And when we had sailed over the sea which is off Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia. 6 There the centurion found an Alexandrian ship sailing to Italy, and he put us on board.
7 When we had sailed slowly many days, and arrived with difficulty off Cnidus, the wind not permitting us to proceed, we sailed under the shelter of Crete off Salmone. 8 Passing it with difficulty, we came to a place called Fair Havens, near the city ofLasea.
Paul’s Warning Ignored
9 Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because [a]the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, 10 saying, “Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.” 11 Nevertheless the centurion was more persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul. 12 And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised to set sail from there also, if by any means they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete opening toward the southwest and northwest, and winter there.
In the Tempest
13 When the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their desire, putting out to sea, they sailed close by Crete. 14 But not long after, a tempestuous head wind arose, called [b]Euroclydon. 15 So when the ship was caught, and could not head into the wind, we let her [c]drive. 16 And running under the shelter of an island called [d]Clauda, we secured the skiff with difficulty. 17 When they had taken it on board, they used cables to undergird the ship; and fearing lest they should run aground on the [e]Syrtis Sands, they struck sail and so were driven. 18 And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship. 19 On the third day we threw the ship’s tackle overboard with our own hands. 20 Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.
21 But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss. 22 And now I urge you to take [f]heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. 23 For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, 24 saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ 25 Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me. 26 However, we must run aground on a certain island.”
27 Now when the fourteenth night had come, as we were driven up and down in the Adriatic Sea, about midnight the sailors sensed that they were drawing near some land. 28 And they took soundings and found it to be twenty fathoms; and when they had gone a little farther, they took soundings again and found it to be fifteen fathoms. 29 Then, fearing lest we should run aground on the rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern, and [g]prayed for day to come. 30 And as the sailors were seeking to escape from the ship, when they had let down the skiff into the sea, under pretense of putting out anchors from the prow, 31 Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, “Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved.” 32 Then the soldiers cut away the ropes of the skiff and let it fall off.
33 And as day was about to dawn, Paul implored them all to take food, saying, “Today is the fourteenth day you have waited and continued without food, and eaten nothing. 34 Therefore I urge you to take nourishment, for this is for your survival, since not a hair will fall from the head of any of you.” 35 And when he had said these things, he took bread and gave thanks to God in the presence of them all; and when he had broken ithe began to eat. 36 Then they were all encouraged, and also took food themselves. 37 And in all we were two hundred and seventy-six persons on the ship. 38 So when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship and threw out the wheat into the sea.
Shipwrecked on Malta
39 When it was day, they did not recognize the land; but they observed a bay with a beach, onto which they planned to run the ship if possible. 40 And they [h]let go the anchors and left them in the sea, meanwhile loosing the rudder ropes; and they hoisted the mainsail to the wind and made for shore. 41 But striking [i]a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the prow stuck fast and remained immovable, but the stern was being broken up by the violence of the waves.
42 And the soldiers’ plan was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim away and escape. 43 But the centurion, wanting to save Paul, kept them from their purpose, and commanded that those who could swim should jump overboard first and get to land, 44 and the rest, some on boards and some on parts of the ship. And so it was that they all escaped safely to land.

18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
Jesus Prays for All Believers
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who [a]will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

💬!! é um pra cada personagem, SELF LOVE MOTHERFUCKER
meu deus do céu
For every 💬 I get in my inbox, I’ll post a quote from my own writing that I’m proud of!
tá longo então tá sob o read more
Penelope (em honra ao sofrimento de hoje): Tinha que saber que o castelo de vidro em que residia desabaria um dia. Só não esperava que seria Georgina e Richard a tacarem as pedras.
Dominic: Impatience. He had to get a grip, control himself. Breathe in, breathe out. He had a rule: never lash out on Daphne.Bônus pq eu amo o Dominic: ““Don’t put yourself in my hands like that,” he sighed, “Don’t... don’t make this into a war.””
Vittoria: ““Have I ever told you you’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever laid my eyes and hands on?” ”
Lara: “But after having found her mother’s tomb and her father’s journals and research, it became her mission, if only to understand the man in his late years. It was troubling, reading what he wrote, but Lara Croft was anything if not determined.”
“I’m here to stay, now.” ”
Especially when she looks like that. Era uma lésbica fraca.”
Nicki: “A personalidade forte de Tulip e o modo como ela preenchia por completo todo espaço sempre foram um pouco sufocantes para Nicki.”
Jonathan (eu amo 1 soft boy):“Christmas came and Jonathan was feeling good, he was feeling truly happy, something he hadn’t felt in a long time. And maybe, just maybe, a big part of the reason for such happiness was a pretty girl with brown hair. He just couldn’t stop thinking about her anymore, and he felt silly like a teenage girl with a crush in a rom com.”
Oscar (hard escolher essa pq literalmente todos os diálogos do Oscar são meus faves eu amo muito um asshole): ““What the fuck do you think I look like? The lunch lady? Get your own food.” ”
Martin: “Well, actually, you wanna know why we die? Because, darling, we’re not immortal. Cycle of life, baby.” e “As an english man with a college degree from Oxford, the way you’re using the english language physically hurts me.”
Myra ANJINHA: “it wasn’t a mistake. it was fate. you’re time hasn’t come yet, you still have a purpose to serve. don’t… dont let that go to waste.”
Valerie: “You think this is rough? You ain’t seen nothin’ yet, sweetheart,”
Harley: “ Derrotara seu maior inimigo, que por anos ela tivera a infelicidade de amar. Mas agora estava pronta para começar um novo capítulo de sua vida, ou melhor ainda, um novo livro. Totalmente livre do palhaço. ”
Nightshade (aquele pov inteirinho na vdd me orgulho mt mas...):  “You can scream all you want, honey, no one can hear you.” She wasn’t laughing anymore, but the smile she wore was as menacing as a snake. Finally, she took her mask off. “Remember me?”
