Welcome back to my crack posting! =D

Warning: long post, and since I have like 60 screenshots, there will be a part two 😊😅

I wrote that intro before I'd watched the ep. Me as I was watching the ep was mostly incoherent screaming (so much so that my cat woke up from his nap to give me "what the hell, hooman" look).

This episode was amazing, and I loved it, and I'll probably die of too much fluff, but that won't happen before I finish watching We Are (which- WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE JUST 5 EPS LEFT?!!).

I was giggling and kicking my feet (just like Peem the morning after that Prince Charming kiss) from the very first scene.

Oh, they are so gone for each other (and I am gone for them 😭). The smiles, the trying to hear what the other is doing just across the door ah

So, so true. As a writer that hits.

Also, I'm very glad they decided to showcase creative blocks, even if it was for a few minutes.

Me to PhumPeem: yes, Peem, I would love to know too.

Also- I really wanna know what Ciize was doing back there 😭

Jokes (and puns) aside, this scene is quite significant. Previously, whenever Phum was seen in the vicinity of the Fine Arts building, it was only because he wanted something from Peem (yes even that scene in ep. 8, he wanted company from Peem), but now, he's just sitting there waiting for Peem. And when Peem comes down, he's pinching his cheeks right there and acting cute with him and asking what's wrong.

And he keeps on asking, because he can see that Peem is a little moody, and not his usual self. "You're usually livelier than this."

Phum: "Actually, I want to be water too..."

Me: No way, is this what I think it is?

Phum: "I want to be the reason you feel good."

Me: yeah, yep, that's what I thought

No but, you can't tell me Phum doesn't binge watch BLs with his beloved teddy bear. Of course he has a whole arsenal of cheesy flirting lines.

All this time, it was always Phum telling Peem how comfortable he is around him and his friends, how fun it is.

Welp, it's Peem's turn.

I love Phum.

This is both him asking for consent as well as making sure they're on the same page and going at the same pace (which he always does, as I'd said before).

Also, no, he wants you to get closer.

Hear how polite and soft Q is with Toey now? Once Q knew for sure that he's allowed to show affection towards Toey as more than just a mentor/mentee, he decided to be fluffy as heck and never went back (because his love language is giving and showing through actions).

This is such a valid fear.

He was afraid that his love would be too much, and in the process he'd lose the person he loves again, so he thought it better to just suffer alone than confess. Not gonna lie, my heart broke just a little here. (Also, because I'm currently rewatching MSP, I'll be pulling a lot of parallels, and this reminds me of that scene where Sound tells Gun that he's afraid to confess to Win because he's pretty sure he'll get rejected).

Oh, and I keep forgetting to say this, but Satang is such an amazing actor. Watching Sound and Toey, I almost can't believe they're played by the same person.

Phum's lethal weapon and Peem's fatal weakness 😭

Let's be honest though, no one would be able to resist that smile, those eyes and that soft, "Na, krab". Oh yeah, he used polite pronouns here by the way.

I can't always notice the shift from formal to informal or vice versa because I'm not that well-versed in the language (yet) but this was pretty obvious.

Bonus (Peem's reaction):

Tan: flirts with his theerak non-stop 24/7 Fang: *brushes his hair a little and apologizes for making him wait* Tan: *melts into a blushing mess*

That man is so whipped.

And in this house, we stan all whipped men.

This actually reminds me of when I was a wee baby (around 3 or 4 years old, I think) when I rescued a baby sparrow and took it to my dad and told my neigbours my dad would be able to heal it because he's a dcotor (he isn't a vet either) 😭

Also- naming a bird by another bird is so true to Pun's character.

Also, we got the princess carry for Pride month! Twice if we count Chain lifting Pun in the waterfall, which I totally do.

We finally get being carried to bed but realizing they're laying on top of the blankets instead of just being magically wrapped in them by morning!

I love this scene so much.

This pencil box is very very special to Q, and he's asking Toey to draw on it - something that is irriversible, as Toey himself says.

But this is Q's way of putting together both his loves. This pencil box was picked up by Toey the first time, but back then, Q only knew him as Milk Frappe Boy.

Now, he's asking Toey to do something Milk Frappe Boy would never have been able to (remember, Toey started taking an interest in art only after meeting Pencil Senior), because Pencil Senior disappeared on Milk Frappe Boy, but Q would never disappear on Toey.

On this note, I end Part 1.

Part 2 will be out tomorrow, because as much as I try to deny it, I have these pesky things called responsibilities to attend to, and it's very late here now (not past my regular bed time, but way past my ideal bed time 😭)

My Love Mix Up TH Ep 7 Stray Thoughts

Last week, Atom and Kongthap navigated what dating might look like for them, and managed to have their first movie date, and a date up a mountain to make a romantic wish. Atom got some romantic advice from a new tutor/teacher, but we left at a potentially homophobic moment when that teacher spotted them together on the mountain. Meanwhile, Mudmee spent much of the episode frustrated with Half for not remembering moments that made her like him.

I feel like this dude has no real authority to ask about their relationship outside of school.

Oh, he told their moms. See, this is kinda fucked up because part of why I’m not a teacher anymore is that I was told that it is a requirement under the law that I report on homosexual behavior by students to their parents.

A homophobia fakeout again from GMMTV. 😑 I don’t think this shit is funny.

Every time they undercut the real world homophobia they make Atom look paranoid. It’s a terrible choice to have him be concerned about how people might perceive him when this show keeps making it seem like his instincts are wrong.

Okay, this chocolate lava cake looks good.

Finally, Aungpao is back.

Man…I don’t think they way they built to this breakup at all. Queer people have real reasons to protect themselves and choose who they want to be out with, and I don’t think this show has earned this plotline at all.

Fourth is good at expressing sadness.

Poor Mudmee. She and Half have had such an awkward, bumpy road. At least they finally made some more progress.

This scene with the kids should play humorous, but it's just Atom's fault he's lonely?

Oh, Papang is here to prove once again that he can build chemistry with anyone.

I hope they do a heavy handed explanation to explain Atom of they want these two to reconcile in this episode.

Man, they really just stumbled all over the sexual awakening and dealing with how that affects how others perceive you beats.

You just knew they were going to shove a musical moment into this once karaoke got mentioned.

This whole Don't Say Gay thing is driving me up the wall. It's affecting the stories in a way I find super uncomfortable. I'd rather bubble shows not allude to any kind of homophobia if they don't want it in their worlds. I hate when they make a character worry about homophobia only to make them look "silly." It's offensive, and it makes the characters feel deeply unreal. I'm losing touch with this romance as a result.

It feels like they didn't want to retread on homophobic teachers since they did it in MSP, but I don't like the choice they went with here at all.

I will be dropping this show. I find that I hate everything it has to say, and I wish the cast and crew success in future endeavors.

Kieta Hatsukoi Comparison: Feels like they wanted to merge the source material but where Aoki's sister is a pastry chef with this senior, and then used Valentine's Day as the romantic stand in for Christmas. As mentioned last week, we're diverging heavily from the source material at this stage, so I'll leave that off.

5. Keita Hatsukoi [Japan] [I still find it bewildering how I was able to fall in love with the EXTRAness of Shunsuke Michieda (Aoki) in the series, and just for that, he and Ren (Ida) have my heart.] I am so so so scared as to how the thai version shall go but then again it's my geminifourth so.

6. Jack o' Frost [Japan] [why was it so good? Why were BOTH of them such baby gurls? Why? No one will ever know.]

7. A Tale of a Thousand Stars [Thai] [Literally got me back into bls during pandemic. The bgm, the village vibes, THEM, chefs kiss. I have even sent @hereforb99 crying vids way back in the days.]

8. Be My Favourite the series [Thai] [I genuinely just watch it for the theme song that they kept playing every 5 seconds (am I one of the few people who was obsessed with it?) plus the surprising chemistry of gawinkrist. Loved it. Did rewatch a lot of eps cuz of it.]

Me while watching Cherry Magic Thailand Ep. 5:

Just can't imagine how loud Karan's internal screaming was when he realised Big Sis was kicking him out of his own house and making him move to Achi's house 😂

1. What's with GMMTV showing us what perfect boyfriends should look (and act) like? 😅 If I cannot have my own Mhok (from Last Twilight), please give me a Karan 😭😭😭

2. Not Auntie dissing Achi in front of Karan 😂😂😂 Karan would defend his beloved little cinnamon roll to the ends of the earth, y'know? 😆

3. I kennat with Karan's internal off-key singing 😂 Also, what's up with this early morning, pre-office work date? Pai would definitely have a seizure if she knew that her ship is doing all these romantic things without her witnessing it 🤣🤣🤣

4. Under normal circumstances, Karan's wild imagination would turn and scare anyone off. However, the fact that he is so sweet, considerate, and can control most of his delusions to stay in his imagination is his saving grace. I think it's one of the main reasons why Achi has not run for the hills yet 😂😂😂

5. Oh, boy. Jinta has gone the deep ends of his fanboying Min 😂 He is barely doing any work. At this point, Jinta ultimately matches Karan's intensity when it comes to dealing with crushes lol

6. In all my years as an Asian employee, I have not encountered an office with a rule as silly as "no going home before the boss". As soon as the clock hits 5pm, me and my colleagues are out of the office lol Boss can take care of themself (Well, the employer WILL STILL TRY to guilt you into working overtime without pay. It's just up to you if you let them get under your skin 😅).

Also, nice of Rock to unintentionally save Achi from Karan's wild "just married" imagination.

7. Awww. Karan don't be jealous of Rock. He is just a baby 😣😣😣 Just think of Rock as your adopted son. 😅 Also, ngl, that soup with Mama OK! noodles looked good (prolly because I have not eaten any breakfast yet).

8. Aaargh! Nooo, Achi also took Rock to that secret breakfast place. No wonder Karan is dying of jealousy. 🙃

9. No, Min. Jinta is not embrassed to be seen with you. But he will prolly die swooning at the back of your motorbike on the way to Achi's office 😂😂😂

10. I had it with these mind-reading bffs 😂😂😂 Karan's imagination was running wild with all the touching Jinta and Achi were doing whilst having conversation about what is the acceptable amount of "handsy" can Jinta get away with Min 😂😂😂

12. Ah, Rock, that's an immature thing to do. It's only natural to be scared and want a more stable professional life. But you should have talked it out with your friends properly - not just ghost them. At least, Pai has the right idea 😁

GMMTV 2024 Part 1 roundup :)

it's been a day, i've had some time to gather my thoughts, so i wanted to get them all down in one spot. (Only really gonna be talking about the shows I plan on watching, in order that they were announced!)

1. We Are the series

aka ALL my favourite couples in one show ahhh 😭😭 i was so happy when the trailer started, you mean i get winnysatang marcpawin pondphuwin AND aouboom all in one??? i wanna be a bit cautious seeing it's directed by p'new and i'm not a huge fan of his work, but i'm super excited for this regardless :] looks like a cute romcom à la futs, which i rlly loved <3 i WILL be hyping this up no matter how it turns out :D

2. Only Boo!

rookie leads !!! strong msp vibes with this one (which i'm not opposed to at all, and i'm pretty sure is what they're trying to emulate) it looks rlly cute?? i know keen is from proj alpha so at least i'm not worried about the singing/dancing for once 😅😅 and we get aun in the side cp!! and louis dance role!! honestly this could turn out rlly good and i'm gonna tune in to at least the first few eps :)

3. Peaceful Property

The second tay slapped new in the face with the sandwich and jan instantly had her camera out, i was 100% sold. but fr, i love horror comedy and ghost stuff, and we get it with taynew + mook and jan!! all the dynamics look like so much fun and i already know i'm gonna enjoy this a lot

4. My Golden Blood

OH MY GOD THIS SHOW i went for a dinner break during the performances, then came back and was planning on just quickly skimming through the livestream to catch up. well, the first 20 seconds of the trailer played, and once i realised what was happening (JOSSGAWIN BL HELLOOOO????) i had to pause and faceplant on my bed for a solid 5 minutes to process it. vampire series would have already had me hooked, but jossgawin??? looking super gritty?? mond evil vampire moment?? neo with a baseball bat (in his sand era🤨)?? gawin my fav in another lead role??? Also the bloody kiss !!!!! guys i'm dead i'm literally writing this from the grave (hoping to meet my own hot vampire guy) Basically i dont care if the cgi's a bit questionable or if the story's cliche, i WILL be eating this up, be ready for it to be my whole personality

5. Kidnap the series

OHM!!! my day one!!! 😭😭 so he was hanging out with leng a couple months ago and i was wondering ahaha what if...? AND NOW !!! WE ACTUALLY GOT OHMLENG !!! i'm rlly happy to see him back to bl, and i like how he stars opposite lots of different ppl (just like gawin). The concept actually seems rlly interesting + more mature, leng is gorgeous and seems like a good actor, and the tied hands sleeping scene totally had me sold on the pairing <33 also ohm squared siblings !!! i rlly like ohm tpk :) and PAPANG WITH A GUN WOOOHHH i said i needed more papang on my screens and my wishes have been answered 🙏🙏 i'm gonna be so annoying about this show as well once it airs ahjskdjfh

gmm knew Exactly what they were doing with those first 30 seconds 😭😭 i was rlly getting hyped up for a dunkphuwin show but ofc it was too good to be true <//3 not gonna be watching this, but i'm still holding out for a joylada poly show at some point... pls gmm 🙏🥺🥺

6. Wandee Goodday

Okay so I saw the GreatInn lore a couple months ago (guys pls read it here it's insane), and i didn't think too much of it because it did seem kinda random, BUT HERE WE ARE WOOOHHHH this show looks so good??? Great with braids <3 ployphach <3 podd homewrecker era <3 mature bl with adult characters <3 directed by golf tanwarin <3 and even more good things!! also i have no idea what the song in the trailer is but it goes so hard, rlly suits the show. i'm all for this pairing and the whole show looks like so much fun Also thorfluke!!! (thor out here collecting all the flukes - thorgawin for 2025??) loved the situp scene and i'm rlly vibing with this pair <3 another show that will be all i talk about once it airs

7. High School Frenemy

God what is that name 💀💀 definitely one where just a literal translation of the thai name would have probably been better names aside, sky and nani !!!! i rlly liked sky in some other shows, and i'm loving the tension between the two. lol i had ohmsky and ohmnani on my gmm24 bingo, i guess we just got it without the middle man 😂😂 also i see they're pulling a double savage with the bromance toeing the fine line of bl hajskdj honestly i don't mind that at all, i think sky and nani have good chemistry and it doesn't seem like there's a random female side wedged in for drama. also so many of my favs as side characters, i'm happy to see them <3 overall, i'll probably watch it if i'm not too busy when it's airing (or just bingewatch it after)

8. My Love Mix-Up!

Gem4th series announced last, who's surprised lmao. this looks very cute!! i know nothing about the source material, but gemini and fourth are great actors, and i trust p'au's directing. i was hoping for something a bit more mature for them (like heartliming was) because i think they're so good in those heavier scenes, but i rlly don't mind this either !! i've been on a kick for less high school bls lately though, but i had the same thought for msp and that ended up being one of my fav shows of all time, so i'm not gonna go into this with any preconceived notions :) gonna tune in for this, no doubt gem4th will serve like they always do

Overall, i was rlly pleased with the lineup this time around. Lots of shows i'm rlly excited for !! a bunch of my favs didn't show up even once which... yeah, but i'm holding out for part 2 🤞🤞 :)

Here is a summoned cooking crush girlie. I love this show way too much and a lot more than I thought I would before. Im not the biggest dynamite/fire Fan but i LOVE LOVE LOVE PREM AND TEN SO MUCH!!!

So here is my question: what are your predictions to their relationship in the next few episodes. Its already quite clear that they caught feelings for eachother I think so I wonder if this will be a story of how the come together or about them getting together earlier in the show and then have to face problems and stuff. What do you think?

I'm gonna be honest, I'm also not the biggest dynamite/fire fan either, even though on paper their pairing sounds great, mostly bc they start quite suddenly with dy having an unexplained crush on fire that started prior to the show & also bc fire has been so far quite a confusing character. I do love dynamite as a character though, he's really fun! but yeah tenprem really steal the show bruh, it's crazy how lovable they are as a ship & also as individual characters!!! so tbh I am afraid this is gonna be the first offgun show where they get together pretty early on, which has me a bit worried bc I've stated before that my favorite part of romances is before the 'getting together' and that it can easily get boring afterward. THAT BEING SAID! shows where the characters get together early can be good (abaab & msp for example, which I am really hoping cc is gonna follow in terms of execution & quality till the end), and this will hopefully be the case for this. I think though that prem is not gonna jump into the relationship that easily bc he feels guilty about charging ten that much money, and also he's been established as a stubborn character so I see him as not admitting his feelings easily. they also both need to get over the apple plot point where prem discovers apple's character is not ten's gf so I'm thinking they're not gonna get together before like ep 7 or 8, after which they'll have to face ten's dad being a fucking asshole & prem giving back the money to ten. OH & there's also ten being jealous of chef chang ma, which will come later bc we need the cooking gang to get accepted in the super monster chef competition first! anyways, lots of plot points to hit, which makes sense why the show feels like it advances at quite a fast yet good pace. I'm so so so excited to see ten confess his feelings first though bro, off's confessions are always so good & the sean & khai ones from not me & tol are burned in my mind forever!!!

We Are ep 7

So finally ep 7 of We Are is deserving a post

(not really I really wanted to write about this show two weeks ago when I binge watched like 4 ep and then 5 next day but I am extremly busy like I have never been in my live)

To the point

I have never seen a character who is more 🥰😍🥰 than Tan

and while I love he got his boy easly, it bothers me so much that Fang has like no agenda being in this whole show and he is just put where it's convienient; why they didn't get like their ep (or maybe they will)

I really did not like Win and Sound in MSP and Winny did not convinced me as an actor, but here we my opinion made a 180, and since first ep not just bc this one was mainly focused on Toey and Q. And it suprised even me bc I did buy their pairing in We are since the begining

So we paused whole Phum Peem love story to play whole Toey Q love story in one ep.

Ah also I do not remember last show to use so many funny and hyperbolic sound effects

the speed at which shows can be put out and some ppl being surprised always makes me laugh. tbf things get rushed a lot and it's not ideal, but iirc, nlmg & msp started and finished filming in the fall and aired december. im pretty sure vice versa aired ep 7 the week filming wrapped. ourskyy2 had fast turn around time too. so crazier things have happened imo. i actually get surprised when they take a while. like umg was filmed last summer so it felt like forever waiting for ep 1 to drop. or abaab & bmf & mlc starting filming like 6ish months before airing. idk but they got filmed in the summer or fall and didn't air til the next spring-ish. for me i sort of expect shows to come out quickly lol. like during filming or a month after. even if that's not actually the norm.

yes, things get rushed and that's exactly the problem of mass production. it's always quantity > quality and I'm sorry but that's something I will never get used to.

I'm surprised that they're working so fast because they're working with a schedule that I'm not familiar with. I work in postproduction and I realize these are different projects but depending on the production it takes at least 7-8 months before an episode of something goes on air and up to 1-1.5 years for movies and there are countless steps that are being reiterated in the process in order for the product to be presentable so I just can't comprehend how they're working so fast and airing their stuff while still shooting at that (which is working harder not smarter) but then looking at the sloppy editing and abysmal sound of most of these shows I guess it shouldn't be so surprising. gotta make compromises somewhere. And needless to say the difference in the ones that take their time is more than obvious e.g. be my favorite, moonlight chicken etc.

Finished Airing:

We Are. It's absolutely great for my tastes and I get to detox once every week. Love it. Has absolutely no plot but has loads of fluff, and it's something I didn't know I needed in my life until I had it. It's one of my favourite BLs ever, and it's definitely going on my comfort shows and re-watch list. It will forever live on in my memory. I definitely keep coming back to this. Very high on my list and my #1 comfort show.

Only Boo. I kinda like it, but I have zero idea where they plan to go with the current storyline. Fluffy and cute, I'll keep watching, but it probably won't end up high on my favourites list. I'm behind on a couple of episodes (I'll catch up before ep. 12, no worries) and I was right. I do like it. It's something new, and I'd like GMM to explore this more, but it's not ending up very high on my favourites list.

Wandee Goodday. My favourite fake boyfriends with benefits! I'm behind a couple episodes with this too (sorry, my brain has been a little too obsessed with We Are T~T) but overall, I really like it. It's P'Golf, so I never had any doubts, but I do worry a little about the angst. It's bearable till now, so fingers crossed. I really like it! College has reopened, so I'm behind on the last two episodes, but I'm hoping I'll be able to complete it by this week. Final update: I've finished Wandee Goodday! All around, it's a very good BL. It dared to explore, and I'm impressed. Top 20 BLs.

My Love Mix Up! Thailand. I'm still skeptical, not gonna lie. But it's GemFourth. And I didn't feel much about the first few eps of MSP either, and look what happened with that. I still don't know how hard the original will clash with Thai BL's specific style, but I'm willing to take the chance. Please don't disappoint me. I like where this is going. They are so cute and lovely, and that high school vibe is evident. All I need now is for ep 11 curse to not happen. (From what happened in MSP, I think there will be some sort of conflict in the last ep, but as long as I don't have to wait one whole week for it to get resolved, I'm okay with it.) It landed a little wobbly, still quite better off than some other GMMTV series this year though *side eyes The Trainee* so I'll give it a solid 7.5 (I mark like every single point costs me though, so a series might be a tiny bit better than I rate it). Could it have been better? Well, yes. Was it enjoyable? Yep.

The Trainee. Well, it's OffGun's usual tsundere seme/innocent uke. Office romance though- that's new. I guess they finally graduated from university 😭😂 I don't feel anything about it right now, but let's see what happens when it starts airing. Rating changed. It's only been four episodes (and I missed today, that is ep 4, because I have college early tomorrow) but I like where this is going. I think it's going to be the typical 5-7 romance ep pattern, but as long as they don't bring back the ep 11 curse, it's all good. Rating changed again. I- I don't know what to say. I've already said everything in this post. They did something worse to this than make it bad; they made it mediocre. I feel like I was watching Tae and Bamhee get their shit together just to stuff all that progress down the drain willingly and got teeny tiny glimpses of JaneRyan in the background. It was downhill from ep 5 or 6 and I was really hoping they would save it last minute, but nope. It hit rock bottom and kept going. It became a bit painful to watch, honestly. I'll leave the rating to y'all.

Peaceful Property. After TayNew outdid themselves in the beautiful soft little thing that was Cherry Magic Thailand (anyone wanna join my Cherry Magic Th propaganda?), I can't wait for this series. Also: if they give me besties, it'll be a hard pill to swallow but I'll be fine, but if they give me bromance, I'll commit homicide. This series is making permanent changes to my brain. ffs, I'll even take bromance that's how much I'm loving it. It's also very sociological, and holds up a not-so-subtle commentary on class difference and oppression so bonus points. For now I'm finding it absolutely *chef's kiss*. Will it finally pull me up from the dump I'm in? Well, I really hope so. It was a mess but I loved it.

Kidnap. I'll be honest, I'd almost completely forgotten about this series until the trailer popped up. I'm quite a few eps behind, but I think, personally, it will probably end up somewhere in my top 25. I'm SO behind on this, I'll update when I catch up T-T

Pluto the series. A GL? With NamtanFilm? I'm in. Honestly though, I really am liking this and I'd love for GMMTV to land this properly. I love Ai-oon so much. Also, what in the Not Me- 😭 I have a few problems with it, but otherwise it really is an amazing series, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch.

The Heart Killers. Pretty sure this is #1 on most of y'alls lists and for good reason too. My reasons? Pretty simple. I love action, mafia and romcom and this is all in one. And also FirstKhao and JoongDunk so- I have no idea what's happening, I'm just here for the ride <3 I still have no idea what's happening, but gods is the ride wild. This series will be my death. My roman empire part 2.

ThamePo: Heart That Skips A Beat. It seems soft and sweet, though it does have the secret/forbidden relationship overtones.It is soft and sweet, but it also so real, heartbreakingly so. I love it. I docked a point out of pure pettiness because it made me cry in the very first episode. If it can make me (grudgingly) make me give that point back, I will give it a place in my Sacred 8. Peace and love in this world. I love my little gay bois so much 🥺🫶🏽 This is hands down one of the best series I've ever watched from GMMTV. Whatever you did with this, GMM, I need you to keep doing it. I had no idea what to expect from WilliamEst, as I'm sure was the case for most others as well, but they won all our hearts. Hats off to them for this amazing performance. I can't wait to have them on my screen again.

Ossan's Love. I found the trailer hilarious, but trailers, especially pilot trailers lie. Also, I'm not hearing the greatest things about the original, but I haven't watched it so I will reserve judgement. If I like it I'll like it I guess. It's so fun (gleefully). I love it. It's just been one episode, but I know this will be wonderful (or a flop of epic proportions). This is peak comedy and I am here for it. I'm one ep behind, but the next one falls on my birthday so that better be fluffy as heck. It's a bit whacky, and not necessarily always the good kind. I'm confused a lot. I also have a growing sense of foreboding that this is turning out like the Trainee (cue violent twitching). I beg, GMMTV, don't repeat the same mistakes with two of your best cps. I'm four eps behind, will update when I complete it.

Perfect 10 liners. What put me off in the trailer itself is the clear discrimination based on looks/physical appearances. It also seems like at this point they're just trying to give each pairing some screen time this year but have run out of plots, and are thus shoving pairings into series like it's the metro/tube/subway/whatever you call it in your country during rush hour. Will I like it? We'll see. After New Siwaj gave me the masterpiece that is We Are, and crushed my doubts like mosquitoes, I'm willing to give Perfect 10 Liners a good strong chance. The premise still bothers me a bit, but I'm keeping an open mind. This is giving me We are nostalgia and I'm mostly watching just for the comedy and the PondSand crumbs. The main couple is meh though, I can't wait for ep 9. I absolutely adore YothaGun and I'm actively looking forward to the next episode. I have a couple small reservations about YothaGun, but otherwise I'm enjoying it <3 FaifaWine my beloveds. favourite couple of the series <3 If this series gets anything above a 7, it's all because of FaifaWine. I adore them, your Honour. That last episode really hit home. I may not rewatch the whole thing (definitely the FaifaWine scenes though) but I liked it.

Us the series. You might ask how a GL ended up so low in my list. Personally, it's a bit jarring to see BLs have this safe space/bubble for their gay bois, but GLs are proclaiming love between women as "taboo" off the bat. I also saw this in 23.5, and yeah okay I get it, wlw is seen in a much harsher eye sometimes, but in 23.5 all Ongsa did was go on repeating "But we're both girls..." without explaining the why and resolving it properly. For now, I will not think too much into it, and worry about it when the time comes. I'll watch after it's fully aired. I've started watching, will update when I complete.

Currently Airing:

My Golden Blood. This will wrap up 2024 part 1. I love gay vamps. But. I'm a bit skeptical about this particular plot. I will watch the first ep (or read tumblr reviews whichever I feel like) and then decide. I've decided to watch this. It's whacky, the chemistry is okay at best, and Joss/Mark looks more dead than undead, but despite all that I'm actually kinda enjoying this. I've always been fascinated by vampires (I have a few original wips too, all gay af of course), but this is my first vampire BL and I intend to make the best out of it. I'm getting all the fluff in the middle of the series which is making me anxious for what the later eps hold.

Sweeth Tooth, Good Dentist. The plot sounds super fluffy and cheesy, so of course I'm in. And no way I'm missing Mark Pakin first lead. (Also, as a dessert-loving person who had many teeth-related problems as a kid, the premise just sounds too relatable. Except the falling in love part with your dentist obviously.) But... JittiRain. I have complicated feelings for her works. I watched the first ep, but still unsure about this. Let's see where it goes.

Also Watching (Not Queer):

Break Up Service. I'm watching only for OffTay crumbs, but this show is so on crack it makes me smile and laugh - things much required on Mondays.

Leap Day. Watching mostly for Gun ATP, but there's also a plot, I think. Not bad, actually. Nice visuals, good actors.

Savia Música son Laura González, V.I.R. e Ivonne Guzmán. Este trío de talentosas cantantes, que desde 2011 unen sus voces en un sólo color para interpretar las mejores canciones de R&B, Pop y Soul se presentarán en una velada única junto a su banda, para dar un show poderoso. Su afinidad por el canto a voces y calidad musical, sumado a su amplio recorrido en escenarios nacionales e internacionales, hacen  de  este  espectáculo toda una experiencia donde el público conecta y vibra alto con el poder de la música, la voz y el amor,  protagonistas  indiscutidos  de  la noche.

LAURA GONZÁLEZ

La cantante, compositora y Coach vocal Laura González creció en un hogar de artistas; su madre la cantante argentina Julia Zenko y su padre Marcelo San Juan, eran dúo cuando nació en 1983, y años después fue el productor y arreglador Daniel García, pareja de su madre quien la impulsó a realizar sus primeros trabajos como cantante grabando coros infantiles y publicidades en su estudio, por su afinación natural, y en donde aprendió el oficio desde los 6 años de edad. Durante varios años fue corista de artistas como Ricardo Montaner, Rubén Rada, Patricia Sosa y Lito Vitale, Diego Torres y Cristian Castro, labor que sostiene hoy en día por su vasta experiencia como sesionista. En 2011 comienza a trabajar en su primer disco solista, producido por Nacho de la Riega editado en formato físico por el sello MSP en 2013. Luego de dos contratos como cantante en cruceros de la empresa Royal Caribbean en 2016 vuelve al país, y en un brote de creatividad impulsado por los talleres de composición de Edgardo Cardozo edita varios singles y dos EP: “Souvenir” y “Guarida” (grabado en su casa en pandemia) además del álbum “Una canción” junto a Andrés Rotmistrovsky, con el apoyo de Ave Fénix en el estudio de Lito Vitale. En 2022 lanza El Goce, single que rescata el espíritu noventoso de sus influencias musicales. Fue Coach Vocal en el programa de TV La Voz Argentina, en el Team Montaner. Actualmente sigue componiendo y grabando sus canciones, además de recorrer el país brindando seminarios de canto y tocando en vivo con SAVIA.

V.I.R.

Cantante y Productora artística oriunda de la zona Oeste del Gran Buenos Aires, V.I.R. posee un largo recorrido en la escena musical nacional. Desde 2003 esta artista ha sabido construir su camino profesional de la mano de diversos y populares referentes de la música argentina y latinoamericana, ya sea formando parte de sus bandas como participando en sus discos como vocalista. Algunos de estos Artistas son: Magalí Bachor, Lito Vitale, Juan Carlos Baglietto, Pedro Aznar, Emme, Actitud María Marta, Tango Loco, Cafundó, Orkesta Popular San Bomba y Ricardo Montaner, entre otros. Ha viajado por el mundo participando en conciertos masivos junto a estos artistas, haciendo que su desempeño en el escenario sea de una talla enorme. En 2011 inicia su primer Proyecto personal de trayectoria, SAVIA MÚSICA junto a Laura González e Ivonne Guzmán, quienes fueron sus compañeras coreutas durante su experiencia  musical  junto  a  Ricardo Montaner y con quienes da sus primeros pasos en la Producción integral. Su afinidad por la música soul, pop y R&B fueron el puntapié inicial para dar comienzo a este trío de voces autogestivo que ya lleva 12 años en la escena independiente de la música popular Nacional y contando. En 2013 fue coach del programa “Operación triunfo” La Banda, emitido por TeLeFe. En 2015 y durante 7 años, fue docente de la escuela de música del reconocido “Colegio de la Ciudad” en CABA. Actualmente, V.I.R. no solo es una de las tres figuras de SAVIA MÚSICA, sino que además Produce íntegramente y canta en otros dos Proyectos propios. Uno de ellos es VIRGINIA ´S TRIO, Trio de Jazz y ballroom con el que viaja al exterior 4 meses al año para brindar shows a bordo de distintos Cruceros de lujo alrededor del planeta y V.I.R. donde experimenta  como  compositora  tocando  sus  canciones  en  formato  acústico,  electrónico y banda. Ha editado varios singles como “Fenix” e “Instinto” de su autoría, grabó 2 discos junto a Orkesta Popular San bomba: “Levántate y baila” y “El sol sale para todes”, así como también  participa  realizando  colaboraciones  como  cantante  invitada  de  otros artistas y bandas reconocidas del ámbito independiente de  Argentina  y  Sudamérica.  Se formó vocal y musicalmente con Marion Moss, Andrea Serri y  en  la  Escuela  de  Arte Leopoldo Marechal de La Matanza.

IVONNE GUZMÁN

Ivonne es Colombiana, nació en Bogotá y a los 4 años se mudo con su familia a Medellín. A los 10 años dejó su país natal y emigró con su familia a Camerún, país de África central en el cual vivió 5 años, experiencia pilar en su formación y de gran influencia en su posterior visión artística. A los 15 años regresó a latinoamérica con su familia, esta vez a Argentina, más precisamente al norte, Ingenio San martín del Tabacal pueblo zafrero ubicado en la provincia de Salta. Desde que tiene memoria Ivonne tuvo la convicción de querer cantar, ser artista. Quien la conoce desde sus comienzos, puede decir que ha tenido una carrera bastante ecléctica. Empezó a los 16 años con la aclamada banda Pop Argentina “Bandana” surgida del reality show “Popstars” de 2001 a 2003. Al separarse la banda, Ivonne (19 años) emprende su camino con la búsqueda de formarse como Música, cantante y compositora. Su deseo siempre fue recorrer el oficio en todos sus rincones y conocerse al máximo. La visión la llevó a proyectos humanos que la enriquecieron en profundidad como artista y ser humano, navegando por diversos estilos musicales. Pasó por el hip hop integrando el Icónico grupo femenino Actitud Maria Marta, el ska grabando en el disco “Don't Stop” de la orquesta Dancing Mood y cantando como invitada especial de la banda en varias temporadas que realizaron en el CC Konex. Posteriormente incursiona en la cumbia Colombiana convirtiéndose en  2011  en  integrante  de  la orquesta Delio Valdez. Explora el Jazz/soul/funk, con el trío vocal SAVIA que arma con colegas amigas que conoció en las giras que realizó como Corista de Ricardo Montaner en 2010 y su banda de Jazz fusión Inassibles en la que explora músicas con métricas irregulares y melodías complejas. La comedia musical ha sido parte de su carrera también Hairspray 2009 y Ghost 2016. El desarrollo de su carrera como cantautora solista ha ido en paralelo a todos los proyectos que a integrado, y sosteniendo la convicción de ser una artista independiente dueña de su propio material y tiempos creativos. Su primer lanzamiento discográfico “DUENDES” fue en 2009, después de varios años de investigación con la composición y trabajo con el productor Sergio Pérez, un disco de 11 canciones, 9 composiciones originales y 2 covers. Su segundo lanzamiento “SUE”, es un EP de cinco canciones originales que salió a la luz en 2017. Aquí pudo plasmar un trabajo más artesanal y junto a los músicos Ariel Pacheco y Ezequiel Rivas se involucró por completo en las decisiones de producción musical, es así que se aprecia en este material la influencia de todos los estilos y experiencias musicales recorridos hasta el momento en su carrera.
