If there was one thing Shiro loved about Sunset University, it was how casual most of the students were. He loved being able to approach just about anyone and meet a new friend. 

He’d seen this blonde girl in particular quite a few times, but never had he been able to have the chance to speak with her. However, she always seemed outgoing and open to meeting new people. Seeing her alone, reading at the table outside, Shiro took this as his chance to strike up a conversation. 

“Hi!” he smiled cheerfully. “Whatcha reading?” he asked, gesturing to the book she held in her hands. “Do you mind if I join you here, or are you really busy?” he asked, taking a seat without waiting for her response.

He glanced over, realizing that Misa had slumped against his shoulder and fallen asleep. He gave a soft sigh, but he couldn’t blame her—it was nearing curfew.

“…let’s get you to your room, Miss Amane.”

Welcome to Hiraeth Academy. Due to your great accomplishments in your own world, we have taken the liberty of summoning you here to Hiraeth in hopes that you will aid us in shaping the minds of those less experienced with their special abilities. We ask that you please report to the Headmistress’s office after reading this letter, so that you can receive a full briefing of what is expected of you. We are certain that your prowess with Coercion will benefit those attending our academy. Of course, she wasn’t the kind of person who pointed out other people’s flaws very often and Kae had no real desire to make enemies with the blonde. So instead of saying anything else, she kept her thoughts to herself. Letting out a small laugh, she gestured at the girl’s hair, “I really like how you did your hair today.”
