Meme Regulation Units

MRU0 & MRU1

The first Meme Regulation Units to be created. While Hyrule currently lacks the technology necessary to even begin inventing the internet, Purah and Robbie managed to invent radio and rig the Skyview Towers into transmitters, with MRU1 hosting a podcast as part of the starting lineup. Meanwhile, the fact that the Internet Graveyard is part of the Sacred Realm has allowed MRU0 to quickly become proficient in Spirit Magic.

MRU2 & MRU3

MRU4 & MRU5

Statuses: Active

Anchor: Frida

5 and Frida got off to a rough start thanks to Frida's experiences with Faeries, but they get along fine now.

MRU6 & MRU7

Currently the only MRUs to see their Supervisor as a parental figure.

MRU8 & MRU9/"Marianne Teegan"

Anchor: Rodney Teegan (Champion Form)

The Janitor of Heart universe runs on similar rules to the Tulip's Road Trip universe (superhero stuff aside) so to avoid complications 9's been enrolled at Mina's school with the cover story is that she's Rodney's grandniece "Marianne" who's staying with him For Reasons (most common theory for those not in the know is that her parents kicked her out for being gay and her great-uncle took her in). She wasn't sure about the name at first but it's been growing on her.

8 doesn't bother with a human name since she's usually in the IG. Most people who care about her name at all just assume she's trans (which adds more fuel to the "shitty parents" theory).

MRU-010 Techno & MRU-011 Timbre

Anchor: DLN-001 Rock "Mega Man" Light & DLN-002 Roll "Neo Woman" Light

Similar to SMGs XIII and XIV, the Mega Man series' quirks when it comes to names (especially those involving numbers), and in this case it's in such a way that it messes with pronunciation and sounds overly formal, so they decided to take on nicknames to save themselves the trouble of explaining their weird names constantly. Techno is based on Rock's design, while Timbre is based on Roll's.

MRU12 & MRU13

Anchor: Andi Finn

Due to how Inkling character models work, they look just as different from Andi as most other Inklings despite technically being recolors. Especially since for some reason her unique beartrap-like beak didn't carry over.

MRU14 & MRU15

Statuses: Active

Anchor: Mario

Their OC Design Agent made sure they'd be distinct from 3 and 4's old recolor designs. And would be different personality-wise as well.

MRU16 & MRU17

Statuses: Active

Anchor: Sonic.EXE the Hedgehog

Surprisingly, they're exclusively recolors of Sonic's normal character model, without any of his demonic side's influence carrying over. Probably because that stuff comes from IRL supernatural stuff rather than his actual code.
