Any predictions for the upcoming gala?
Well, what I am hoping for is a lot of freaking drama and issues? Is that bad? I shouldn’t wish negative things to happen to anyone, huh? Eh, what the heck. Anyway, let’s see. My first prediction is that Jake is going to get bought out by someone who isn’t Ally. Which imagine the drama there? Seth is going to see Liana and get super fucking drunk and then probably knock over an ice sculpture or something, which will end up falling on Theo Miller and he’ll end up in the hospital. Lux Barnes will finally meet the love of her life and someone who deserves to be with the precious peach. Jamie and Danielle will win best dressed and walk off like the royalty they are. Asher will end up making out with everyone again. Harry will relapse (oops). Riley and Kyle will get into a fist fight over which one of them is better looking. The band will get too drunk that the music stops and Mino is the first person closest to the stage and is forced to go up there and tell bad jokes while the committee figures something else out. And finally, Caleb and Edmee will have a surprise vow renewal in the middle of the ballroom.
Did I go a little too overboard?

Age no barrier for Territory draft prospect
Sledging line, MRP latest, injury updates Monday Footy Feed with Matt Thompson and Nathan Schmook
Jarrod Brander evades Carlton veteran Dennis Armfield during an AFL Academy versus Northern Blues match
EXCITING Northern Territory forward Adam Sambono has been included in the Allies squad ahead of the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, despite turning 20 last month.
Under AFL rules a player can be picked at under-18 level “in exceptional and compelling circumstances” if he doesn’t meet regular criteria, with the League believing Sambono’s talent and background should see him get an opportunity for the Allies despite being two years older than the draft pool.
He hails from Daly River, 200km from Darwin, and has not played in the AFL’s under-aged championships before, but is in brilliant form and kicked five goals for NT Thunder last weekend.
Clubs were notified of Sambono’s inclusion on Monday, with the full Allies squad released ahead of next month’s national carnival. Sambono is too old to be eligible as a part of any club’s Next Generation Academy zone.
Almost half of the Allies will come from the Sydney and Greater Western Sydney academies, in a nod to the growing strength of football in New South Wales.
The Giants have supplied 12 players to the squad of 48 that will be used throughout the five-round championships, while the Swans, who won the under-18 academy series, have had nine players selected.
Highly-touted pair Jarrod Brander and Charlie Spargo are among the Giants’ representatives in the Allies list, although GWS does not have first access to them through their academy after the AFL realigned the club’s zone earlier this year.
Jarrod Osborne, who won the Swans’ most valuable player in the recent academy series, is among his team’s selections for the Allies. Bottom-ager and father-son prospect Nick Blakey has also been chosen despite not being eligible for the draft until next year.
Gold Coast’s academy had 10 players picked for the Allies, while the Brisbane Lions have had four prospects included in the group. Key forward/ruckman Connor Ballenden, who hit form late in the academy series for the Lions and is a potential top-five draft selection, will play for the Allies.
Six Tasmanians, including highly touted 2018 draft hopefuls Tarryn Thomas and Chayce Jones, are in the Allies squad.
Thomas is a member of North Melbourne’s Next Generation Academy and the club will have first call on him at next year’s draft. Tony Olango, who is one of eight Northern Territory prospects in the Allies’ squad, is eligible to join Hawthorn under the NGA rules having been overlooked at last year’s draft.
Adrian Fletcher, having coached Queensland in recent division two national carnivals, will be senior coach of the Allies with Tadhg Kennelly his assistant.
The AFL’s Luke Ball, who played 223 games for St Kilda and Collingwood, will be Allies team manager. The squad will be trimmed after its trial game in two weeks.
The Allies’ first game of the championships will come in round one against Vic Country at Blacktown International Sportspark on Sunday, June 11. The carnival will wrap up at Simonds Stadium on Wednesday, July 5.
2017 NAB AFL UNDER-18 ALLIES SQUAD

Analysis: Greene facing ban for Daniel strike
Greene in MRP strife again Toby Greene goes in the book for striking
Toby Greene was reported for striking Caleb Daniel
THE BENEFIT of the doubt should not be with Toby Greene when the Match Review Panel sits on Monday after a third straight indiscretion that looks set to earn him a suspension of either one or two weeks.
Two weeks ago Greene was charged with striking Dan Houston off the ball, while last week he was scrutinised for a headbutt that ultimately made insufficient force.
Greater Western Sydney was aware before Friday night’s match that the MRP was keeping a close eye on their star half-forward because of a growing list of incidents, including others that were ultimately excused.
That didn’t stop the fiery All Australian from crossing the line again on Friday night, striking Western Bulldogs opponent Caleb Daniel with a left hook that should be graded intentional, despite occurring in a marking contest.
If Greene, who was immediately placed on report by umpire Shaun Ryan, is charged with intentional striking with medium impact to the head he will be offered a two-match ban with an early guilty plea.
Full match coverage and stats
There is a strong case for medium impact as Daniel suffered a cut to the mouth and was forced off the ground for a period.
Whether Greene should be charged with careless striking or intentional striking will be the point of contention for the Panel, given the ability for players to argue they were trying to punch the ball free.
If the 23-year-old is charged with careless striking with medium impact to the head, he will be offered a one-match ban with an early guilty plea.
Cameron has no problem with ‘on the edge’ Greene
But should Greene be offered the benefit of the doubt in this case? His left arm hook was clearly not a spoiling action, and his on-field record casts doubt over his intentions.
If Greene and GWS were adamant it was not his intention to strike Daniel high, they would be able to take that case to the Tribunal, which has not sat in 2017.
“We’ve been telling you for a couple of weeks now that you’re getting very close to the edge,” umpire Ryan said as the 50m was enforced.
Giants coach Leon Cameron told ABC radio on Saturday he had seen the incident and not heard the audio, but hoped that was not what happened.
“That’s one thing I’ve heard some reports on … but if that did happen, I think that’s probably got to be looked at. That would be disappointing if you’re going in with a preconceived idea about a particular player because of his previous couple of weeks,” Cameron said.
“I’ll have a look at that today and if there is something to discuss with (umpires’ boss) Peter Schwab, then we’ll have a discussion about it on Monday.”
Greene, who is one of the most effective half-forwards in the game, has been charged six times in the past six seasons, including a misconduct offence in this year’s JLT Community Series.
It is right that the MRP members keep his record in this area as a player in the back of their minds to pick up on off-the-ball hits that broadcast cameras might miss.
When a player is under closer watch than others, it is standard practice for the MRP to let his club know that they are seeing incidents that are coming close to being charged.
Coach Leon Cameron said in the lead-up to the Bulldogs’ clash he loved Greene’s competitiveness, but he needed to control his aggression.
The star Giant makes great judgments with the ball, but on Friday night he made a poor one without it and he appears certain to miss next Friday night’s clash against St Kilda, if not also the round eight meeting with Collingwood.

Montreal's about to get new kids; who should they watch out for, and who should they hang out with?
As far as bad influence goes in a place like Canada, I’d keep an eye on Cassandra Morgan and Riley Henderson. Hang out with though? Depends on their interests and personalities. We have parents in plenty, the creative mind in Noah Carroll, Edmée Fischer-Adams and her husband Caleb Adams; not to mention some of our photographers, mainly Aubrey Saunders and Addison Bailey. We have our workaholics and our business people in Vivian McCoy, Richard Nixon IV, Simon Meadows, Nathan Wilkes and more. And, if you just happen to be looking for a good time, Harold Boyle, Maverick Braeden, Vladimir Novikov, Louis Abrams etc etc are to be approached! But I would suggest reaching out to each and every, they all have their own amazing touch to them that makes them such interesting people to watch.

Has Caleb and Edmee's relationship gotten any better? I can't tell because they don't seem to do much together. Kinda like Killian and Maverick. I think Killian and Edmee forgot they have husbands.
It seems like Caleb and Edmee are back in Honeymoon Land™. If I were her, I’d be a little more hesitant to let him back in my life, but for now, they seem happy. I think you might be right about Killian and Maverick though. Someone ought to remind our Irish friend of his Sexy Hunk of Eyebrows™.

Do you think Edmee and Caleb are still in love?
“As far as I have heard, they confessed it to the other – I don’t know exactly what happened between the two, but I just hope that whatever they do it’s the best decision for their daughter.”

What is your opinion on all the married couples? Got any juicy gossip?
I honestly can’t say I have seen a lot of married couples’ activity around. Maverick and Killian are newly wed, seems like it was a drunk… slip, but not a mistake. Or? Edmée and her husband Caleb Adams barely cross path these days unless it’s for their daughter Issy – apparently he has some problems to sort through, but he doesn’t seem to be that eager to fix them for the sake of winning his wife back. Jocelyn Nixon and Ethan Fairmont are just… I haven’t seen anything at all, so I can’t comment on them and Vera and Richard Nixon have a whole clan of kids, she sure married herself into a steady family name – but is being married to someone you HATE worth it? Yes, that’s right! Vera and Richard just can’t stand one another but I guess hate fucking isn’t out of the question and I can’t blame them if they stay just for the eye candy. Gideon and his main flame is still a hush hush.  We need a couple to fill up a space in the engaged department soon, who do we volunteer? I demand a wedding!
