Harish Jagtani Foundation successfully launched the free dialysis coverage campaign
“Charity isn't about pity; it is about love.” These lines of philanthropist and Noble peace prize winner “Mother Teresa”, always find their true meaning as and when we talk about the Harish Jagtani Foundation. Located in the Kinshasa City of the Democratic Republic of Congo, this foundation is helping thousands of people across Africa and beyond in multiple ways.
Whether it's spreading awareness about Chikungunya or helping the needy with food, healthcare, and shelter, the Harish Jagtani Foundation is leading the way on the CSR front in DR Congo.
Just last year, the Harish Jagtani Foundation, Led by renowned philanthropist Mr. Harish Jagtani, performed over 100 free surgeries on patients suffering from cataracts and glaucoma.  The foundation launched an ophthalmological campaign called DON DE LA VISION for achieving this big feat of providing light to 100 families.
What's more? The HJ Foundation is working day and night to make another campaign successful. The campaign is regarding giving free dialysis coverage or renal failure treatment to the needy.
Just last month, on 28th October, the Minister of Public Health, Hygiene, and Preventive inaugurated the dialysis centre at HJ hospital Kinshasa.  The free dialysis centre is operational for low-income group people at HJ hospital Kinshasa.
HJ Foundation is working closely with HJ hospital and the Democratic Republic of Congo’s government to ensure free and accessible kidney dialysis even for destitute people.
Last Month, Harish Jagtani Foundation launched a free dialysis campaign.
The foundation now and then highlights the importance of having universal health coverage for all in DR Congo. They’re working in a completely professional manner to fight against epidemics and endemics in the Congo. With the vision to bring affordable health care closer to the most vulnerable people of DR Congo. Dr. Aimée Lokulutu of the HJ hospital categorically said that the campaign will focus more on offering dialysis and then on Kidney transplants.
People having kidney issues and an inability to afford the high prices may register themselves with the HJ Foundation. Based on the total number of registration, the foundation will establish an agenda to treat and make all those people healthy. The foundation is not necessarily focusing on the treatment, but they’re giving equal importance to encouraging people in adopting healthy lifestyles for disease prevention.
The Harish Jagtani Foundation is actively working in coordination with the Indian embassy in Congo and brought BMVSS team Jaipur foot to DR CONGO. Jaipur foot or Jaipur leg is a rubber-based prosthetic leg highly beneficial for people with amputations. When we contacted Ms Roshni Punjabi at HJ Foundation, we came to know that from 1st December 2021, the Jaipur foot campaign is going in full swing, and already, more than 128 handicapped patients are fitted with Jaipur foot prosthetic limb at the Harish Jagtani Foundation’s camp in Kinshasa City. A special camp to fabricate and fit 500 false limbs for people who have been handicapped due to various reasons is being put up by HJ Foundation. This camp will be free of charge, where the people who have lost their limbs will be given new limbs and made to practice the use of their limbs to once again start living lives like earlier, completely free of charge. This camp will be a life-changing event for the 500 people that will be benefitted in the first phase of this campaign.

3 Key Lessons Every Entrepreneur Can Learn From Failure In Business – Mr. Harish Jagtani
Failure is almost synonymous with businesses. A report by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics says about one in five businesses in the US fail within a year. In fact, there are many entrepreneurs who think failure as the normal way forward to succeed. They celebrate failure because they think learning from mistakes firsthand is their greatest source of knowledge. Here are some important lessons one can learn from failing in a business…
Failure Helps Build Resilience
Failure teaches entrepreneurs the power to recover quickly, which builds resilience. Every failure teaches entrepreneurs to learn tenacity and perseverance, the major characteristics of resilience that are vital to steer them through wrong moves and fight the urge to give up.
Research reveals how building resilience helps businesses succeed. Another study found that resilient entrepreneurs view business setbacks as puzzles they were capable of solving and dealing with fully. The researchers also saw that entrepreneurs who were ready to face these challenges were more motivated and proactive in identifying ways to improve business processes and adjust the results on the go. The reports even found that resilience was an important skill that helped business owners respond to unforeseen challenges and businesses owned by such entrepreneurs were more likely to survive.
Failure Helps Instil Fearlessness
Every one of us reacts to failure in a different way. Entrepreneurship is risky, as well as full of challenges and this adds to the fear of failure, along with rejection. These fears can prevent aspiring entrepreneurs from taking risks and following their dreams. A survey found about three in five Americans had ideas for starting a business. It showed that 92% did not convert their ideas into business. For 33% of the survey respondents, the fear of failure kept them from following their dream into business. But we should remember that failure teaches us some of the most significant lessons in life.
Over the past decade, we have seen many instances where venture capitalists invested in businesses that failed. Successful entrepreneurs do not allow fear to stop them. Instead, they see failure as an opportunity to learn and use that information to move forward. Moreover, it also helps them explore the changes they have to implement to succeed. Through failure, one discovers the shortcomings in one’s business and team. It teaches an aspiring entrepreneur where his/her weaknesses lie and what needs to be improved. The knowledge and practical experience that come from failure instil a fearlessness and confidence in entrepreneurs that drives them to keep trying.
Failure Helps One Adapt to Change
Failure also teaches adaptability. When an idea or approach fails, entrepreneurs have to adjust to new situations and be open to experiments and new ideas. Being open to change and keep agile are part of adaptability that allows entrepreneurs to overcome barriers, learn and innovate. When industry, market and customer preferences change, this adaptability helps entrepreneurs navigate these new situations and work an idea into problem-solving or come up with new ones.
One example of huge success is Netflix. Founded in 1997, it focused on allowing consumers to buy and rent DVDs. Two years down the line, it included a subscription model that helped people rent as many DVDs as they wanted to by paying the rent on mail. Then, taking advantage of new-age technology and streaming content over the Internet, the company re-optimized its business model in 2007.

Patients having kidney issues with incapabilities to afford the high prices were able to register themselves with the HJ Foundation. from the total number of registration, the foundation established an agenda to treat and make all those people healthy,  not necessarily focusing on the treatment, but also giving equal importance to encouraging people in adopting healthy lifestyles for disease prevention.
Among the recent highlights of the activities of the HJ Foundation was bringing the BMVSS team from Jaipur to the Democratic Republic of Congo for the Jaipur Foot Campaign. The Jaipur foot, "Jaipur leg", is a rubber-based prosthetic leg that is extremely useful for patients with limb amputations. The Jaipur foot campaign commenced from December 1 to January 30. over 575 limbs were fitted, including a couple of upper limbs, at the Harish Jagtani Foundation's camp in Kinshasa City. HJ Foundation set up a special camp to create and fit 575 prosthetic limbs for patients who have been disabled for various reasons. While the campaign is free, patients who have lost their limbs receive new limbs and are made to practice using them and start a new life like before. The HJ foundation team's determination and grit also helped in transforming lives and enlightening hope for the Congolese.
Conclusion
Harish Jagtani, philanthropist by heart and businessman by profession, is greatly renewed for his humanity to help improve the condition of others in Congo. He's the founder of the HJ group of companies that caters to multiple domains, including domestic but not limited to Domestic but also International Air Cargo, Real Estate and infrastructure development, CSR, hospitality, and healthcare. From the HJ group of companies, the HJ foundation and HJ hospital worked closely to provide quality healthcare to Congolese people. His foundation, HJ,  started in 2016. It is a non-profit organization founded with the objective to bring positive change in the public healthcare sector. By chalking out a path toward humanity, the HJ foundation during the times of covid 19 pandemic was ineffable; they helped scores of people during the pandemic, from distributing 10,000 PPE kits to delivering 100s of food packets during the lockdowns. Far beyond the free dialysis and eye surgery program, the HJ foundation aims to cater to different ailments in the future and endeavors to bring quality health service and more to all.

DRC: the fabulous destiny of the Indian Harish Jagtani
Some call Harish Jagtani the "Indian Dan Gertler," after the sulphurous Israeli businessman, friend of Joseph Kabila. The former head of state of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has denied any relationship with this Indian businessman. RFI provides new evidence of this proximity and has continued its investigation. Not only has Mr. Jagtani built an empire in the land of Joseph Kabila in less than 15 years, but his family and associates now have significant assets in the Congo, as abroad, and have come to join forces to the biggest groups like the American Hilton and the French Accor.
On October 28, 2015, Harish Jagtani celebrates its fortieth anniversary in style. The businessman decided to celebrate it in India, his country of origin, in his luxurious residence in Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. The millionaire named it "LV" in tribute to Louis Vuitton, one of his favorite luxury brands. However, it is not Mr. Jagtani who is the center of attention. The guest of honor is Olive Lembe di Sita, first lady of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). It is in this Central African country with a tumultuous history that the Indian businessman has lived for twenty years and made his fortune under the presidency of the husband of "Maman Olive", Joseph Kabila, who came to power in 2001 .
In the photos of the event, Olive Lembe di Sita is dressed in a sumptuous white dress and seems to love the couple, young, rich like her. "Harish captivates with his polite manners and ambitious plans," said a Congolese businessman annoyed by Mr. Jagtani's successes. A dozen photos obtained by Radio France Internationale (RFI) attest to the warm relationships between the couple of Indian millionaires and the wife of Joseph Kabila. The now former head of state does not appear in any image. After the publication of our first investigation, he denied, through the voice of his representative, any relationship with this businessman today at the heart of several scandals.
Harish Jagtani's Modern Construction has benefited from an over-the-counter market that has become controversial. In the midst of an economic crisis, the Senate, chaired by someone close to Mr. Kabila, spent $ 4 million, outside the budget, to renovate its plenary hall. In Kinshasa, the capital, residents often attribute some of the towers built by Harish Jagtani and his construction companies to the former presidential couple, such as the Kiyo Ya Sita tower. It was baptized thus, they say, in homage to Olive Lembe di Sita. Questioned by RFI, the former first lady’s communications advisor assured her: “Her investment is in agriculture and cattle breeding. "

A full health checkup is essential for all as it would help you to get aware of your health and would guide you to take necessary steps to prevent or detect many health-related issues. So these comprehensive health checkups are very important.
What is a full health checkup?
A full health checkup means a complete body checkup or diagnostic scanning of your complete body including all major organs like the heart, kidney, liver, and lungs. It is meant to assess the present health and to know if there is any sign of warning or any medical issue or abnormal symptoms.
Importance of full health checkup
The set of investigations would help you to detect cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, cancer, diabetes, High blood pressure, digestive issues, etc. It is highly recommended that everyone should go for a full health checkup, especially after the age of 35 years. It would always make you aware of your unhealthy eating habits and the team would advise you to follow a healthy diet and lifestyle for a healthy life. Let us discuss some of the major benefits of undergoing a full health checkup.
First and foremost is that it would screen your full body to detect any underlying medical issues. It would diagnose critical and fatal diseases like cancer, and early detection is the key to achieving desired results of the treatment plan and it would save a patient's life. If any person is having a family history of some illness, he or she must go for a full health checkup to waive the possibility of that with him or her. Similarly, the one who has an unhealthy and hectic lifestyle should go for it to get all tests done to be on the safer side.
Presently, the world is running at a very fast pace, and so is the life of all people. No one has time to stay healthy by following a routine, having regular exercises, and pursuing yoga and meditation, all these add up to an unhealthy lifestyle and lead to sudden stress-induced issues like heart disease, depression, headache, etc. Therefore, it is advised to get your full body health checkup at regular intervals to prevent and detect the onset of any medical problem. Moreover, increasing pollution also leads to many health problems, and we can sort all of these with proper solutions if detected on time. To summarise, a full health checkup is the best solution to monitor your health and to find a solution for any problem in its initial stages.

9 Ways Personality Tests Can Help During Hiring Process – Mr. Harish Jagtani
Nowadays, the hiring process has become different and more complex than it has been traditionally. Earlier, employers only had a small window to assess and know a candidate. An hour was just about time to ask questions about a candidate’s work experience and instances of past behavior at work. But it was not sufficient to learn about things like an individual’s communication style and so on at the workplace
It is important for candidates to have job-specific personality to handle an organization’s pressures and customer line. Hiring a candidate with the wrong personality type may have a disastrous outcome for your organization. But how does one know a candidate’s personality? This is where personality tests become crucial. This is a series of questions that often help leaders assess their current teams and even provide vital information on prospective employees. A rise in the use of personality tests in the hiring process has led to the development of methodologies that businesses can choose from, depending upon their requirements.
Personality Tests for Hiring
These are assessments that measure a candidate’s non-behavioral characteristics and are given to candidates prior to the job interview to inform them about the interview process. These are given in a multiple-choice format for self-assessment where candidates choose traits or statements that match their personality the most. Based on the results, employers can get a better understanding of a candidate’s underlying characteristics, like motivation, communication style, temperament, character, personal identity and much more. For instance, a personality test can reveal how an individual prefers to interact with others, ways of handling a stressful situation, or how open they are to change. A couple of popular ones are Disc Assessment and Myers-Briggs, The Caliper Profile, Predictive Index (PI) Behavioral Assessment and Situational Judgment Test (SJT), among others.
Why Are the Tests Important?
Since it is quite expensive for companies to recruit and train new hires, attracting the right candidates for specific opportunities is important for an organization’s productivity, as well as the bottom line. Personality tests serve as valuable tools for recruiting and retaining great talent. These also help evaluate job performance. So, assessing a candidate’s behavioral tendencies at work helps hiring managers and headhunters decide whether a candidate fits into an open position, along with the company’s culture.
HOW PERSONALITY TESTS HELP IN RECRUITMENT
They Help Get the Right Match
Nowadays, employees are leaving companies in hordes and a key reason is that they do not fit in with the company’s culture. Personality tests or pre-employment tests make it easier to match the right person with the right job. It presents a picture of the real person which, at times, is much more important than work experience or education qualifications. Moreover, the resume of a person does not tell you how well he/she will perform in future.
Help Spot Leadership Skills
Although one cannot rely on these tests entirely, they can help you to learn certain things about your employees. You can use such a test to figure out whether a person is suitable for a particular leadership role or not. These tests can tell you if an individual is hostile or timid by nature. It can also give an idea about whether a person works better in a team or otherwise.
Identify Strengths, Weaknesses
The tests also help you find the strengths and weaknesses of applicants. It is not possible to simply inquire about such information. Many are not even aware of their true strengths and weaknesses. Even if they are, it is quite unlikely that they would want to disclose this information to a recruiter. But these tests are developed to help you explore such information.
These Tests Promote Diversity
A report revealed that, sometimes, candidates face discrimination. Companies that use these personality tests can promote greater diversity at the workplace. By taking all the candidates through a standardized hiring process, employers can eliminate prejudice and offer all applicants who meet the requirements equal conditions regardless of their background.
These Are Flexible for Applicants
These pre-employment tests can be taken by candidates when it suits them and be considered for the position remotely. For instance, they do not have to take time off to appear for a job interview to a distant location physically.
Saves Recruiter a Lot of Time
These tests are quick to take and get results, too, which, in turn, save plenty of time for everyone involved.
Lays Ground for Growth Plan
The information from these tests can be used to lay the basis for a development plan that will help employees do their job the best they can.
They Lead to More Well-being
These tests lower the chances of hiring errors, which promotes greater well-being and lower absenteeism at work, thereby helping in improved production.
Good Addition to Interviews
These tests are a good addition to job interviews. Information about past behavior added with a candidate’s personality can offer hiring managers a fairly good idea of how the person would behave in similar situations in future.

The Benefits and Harms of Preventive Health Screenings (Regular Body Checkups) — Harish Jagtani Hospital.
Doctors and other health experts often suggest people go for preventive health checkups and full-body screenings to ensure good health as they help avoid critical diseases and identify health concerns, if any, at the earliest for a better prognosis. While regular testing and checkups are immensely beneficial, they may also pose a few harms. Continue reading to find out the benefits and potential harms of preventive health screenings. And if you are looking for world-class healthcare facilities in DR Harish Jagtani Congo, contact Harish Jagtani Hospitals as we are manned by experienced doctors, nurses, specialists, surgeons, night doctors, diagnostic staff, technicians and other healthcare experts.
Benefits of Regular Health Checkups
Regular screenings help identify symptoms at an early stage: A simple blood and urine test can determine the levels of several components in the body, which further indicate the health and functioning of different body organs. For example, if your blood uric acid level is elevated, it might be a sign of improper functioning of kidneys and may lead to conditions like gout and kidney stone in future.
Early diagnosis increases the success rate of treatment: Many health problems are preventable whereas many are curable when their early signs and symptoms are detected. Additionally, early detection improves the chances of successful treatment and increases the survival rates in cases of critical conditions such as cancer.
Health checkups help improve your overall health: The levels of vitamins and other important minerals can also be determined via regular checkups. So, if your doctor finds the deficiency of any such nutrient in your body, they will prescribe a diet or medication accordingly. This further helps improve your overall health.
Preventive health screenings reduce the risk of falling sick: Regular diagnostic tests and checkups help you keep your health in check. For example, regular cholesterol tests can help you evaluate and maintain the levels of HDL and LDL cholesterol in your body. This further prevents diseases caused by high levels of bad cholesterol.
Regular health checkups reduce healthcare costs: Preventive health screenings can help you save money in the long run by helping you prevent a number of diseases and reducing the chances of undergoing major surgeries.
Potential Harms of Preventive Health Screenings
False-positive (FP) results: False-positive results are the cases of diagnostic tests when a person who does not have a condition tests positive for it. Though the chances of FP results are quite low, they may lead to stress and anxiety in the patient, incorrect treatment, additional testing requirements, and other such problems. To avoid this, make sure you get your diagnostic tests done only in the state-of-the-art facilities of Harish Jagtani Hospitals in Congo which prioritises accuracy and precision.
Overdiagnosis: An article published on NCBI’s website (National Centre for Biotechnology Information) suggested that in rare cases, overdiagnosis may occur, which refers to the detection of a disease or condition which is not harmful or deadly. This further leads to the requirement of additional testing and treatment which may be harmful to the person.
Conclusion
Regular preventive health screenings, like eye checkups, dental exams, cholesterol tests, urine tests, etc., are necessary to ensure good health. However, make sure you get yourself tested only at certified diagnostic labs, such as those at Harish Jagtani Hospitals . We are manned by expert technicians and medical staff who provide accurate results and eliminate the chances of FP results. To avoid overdiagnosis and its consequences, consult the doctors at Harish Jagtani Hospitals to discuss your test results and receive the best medical care.
