[...] "Well, I will be announcing it on my social media. Do you think that I should account for more arrivals?" she asked, pondering the situation. She could see the excitement from the custom cake idea. "I think the emblem cake would be quite unique!" she exclaimed. Yura took the business card and nodded. "I'll email it to you. I think I have a high resolution from the designer who initially did it a few years ago," she said, nodding. "He was a classmate of mine in school and he did my intial designs. I would honestly never change anything of his. He did good work for me," she added. As the other girl listed off the menu, Yura nodded. "I think that would be quite appropriate. Oh, you probably need a name on the order: it's Seo Yura," she stated.
Eirwen stayed silent for a short while, her eyebrows came slightly closer to each other as she was pondering over the possibilities. “I’m actually in no rights to say how many customers will show up at your party,” she admitted with a soft smile, saying her honest thoughts, “but I would say better be over-prepared than sorry, so maybe leave space for at least fifty more?”
She nodded at her customer’s comment about the cake, affirming, “That would be very unique, if you ask me, since I guarantee that there is no cake look like that in the world.”
“Thank you,” the demigoddess replied as the other confirmed to send the picture of her store’s emblem through email. She briefly looked away to note down that detail in her order, still listening intently to what her customer was saying. Her smile remained welcoming as she looked back at the other and commented. “Oh, that’s so sweet, he’s such a good friend to you! Do you think you can invite him to your party?”
As her customer confirmed the pastries she would like to have for her party, Eirwen put a tick to the note. Before she could ask, the other demigoddess had already introduced her name, to which Eirwen smiled brightly while writing it down.
“Your name sounds really lovely,” she said honestly, before asking Yura some final information for the order to be done.
“So, we still need your phone number, and when would you like to pick up your order. Usually, it will take us at least four or five days to finish big orders like yours, so I hope you don’t mind waiting,” Eirwen then added. “Oh, and if you would like your order to be delivered, then you can leave the location and time, and we will take care of the rest!”

cont from here with @mpyura
“Yeah, right…”
A smile played on his lips as he watched her laugh, his hand lazily fidgeting with his half-empty glass of ice tea. He wasn’t entirely sure what kind of magic Yura had put on him to convince him to come out to a club, but now that he was already there, he might as well enjoy himself in the company of a true friend.
He turned his head to follow her line of sight towards the group, who instantly seemed to busy themselves with talking to each other, drinking or looking at nothing in particular in another direction. While he had to admit they were good-looking and some would probably fit his type if he had one, he just shook his head with an entertained smile as he looked back at Yura.
“I think they were looking at you.” He raised his eyebrows and nodded towards them, silently prompting her to go over there herself. “Why don’t you go there and try some pickup lines? If you’re doing badly, I’ll swoop in like a wing man.”

Butterfly pt.2 🌿 Yura
A fresh starter at the local karaoke spot with the stunning @mpyura
🌿
There’s a lot of ways to beat the cold, but one of the ones that Kiki likes the best lately is visiting the local karaoke spot, Kinsunebi. Tonight she’s got a little time to herself and she’s called a few friends to meet her there to belt out some familiar songs and maybe take a crack at ones they’ve never heard before. It’s all for the fun of it!
It’s at the end of the time that the group is paid for the room that Kiki slips out, trying to pay for more time before they make her start up a song for herself. Making her way to the desk to do just that she spots the familiar face of someone she is more than delighted to see again.
“YURA?!” She exclaims then quickly covers her mouth to laugh. “Well, this is great! How are you?”

Spools of Yarn
mpyura:
With Christmas a few months away, Yura was starting to plot what she was going to do for all of her friends and customers and her family. It was rare that she actually celebrated the holiday, but she wanted to make this year special for them. She just had no idea what she would do, but maybe a cup of coffee and something sweet would help her train of thought.
She had made her way to the Flower Mill to work on the Christmas lists and ideas. Seeing the young woman ahead of her struggling to open the door to the cafe where Yura was headed anyway, she rushed over to hold the door open for her. “I have the same issues sometimes! Gotta love having arms full of fabric or is it something else?” She said, holding the door open and then following the other inside with a grin. “I was coming here myself to hopefully come up with some ideas for gifts for birthdays and holidays coming up,” she added. Yura was always up for helping anyone in need.
Angela sighed in relief as the other came to her aid. She was sure one of her staff members would have came to assist her as well. However, there a bit of a line forming in the restaurant, so as her arms started to ache, she knew that sweet relief was not too long from coming. So when the other came, she moved out of their way just long enough for them to open the door. “It didn’t seem heavy in the cart, but my arms feel like they will fall off!” She exclaimed with a laugh.
As she managed through the door, she was quick to just sit the bags of yarn onto one of the few empty coffee tables. It would be fine to just sit there for now, giving her long enough to give her arms a break. “Thank you so much for all the help. I would have been suffering without you.” Angela spoke warmly and happily. “This was my holiday shopping. So, it seems we have the same goals. Is there anyway I can help you with your holiday ideas? We have a few things here that would be great for gifts.”

Open Starter || Open to anyone
It was that time of year again. With Christmas now a few months away and Angela's growing list of friends, she had always needed to start months prior making presents for her friends. In doing so, she needed mountains of yarn and several new knitting needles of various sizes to be able to get the job done. It was a gift she always took pride with, and with Siwoo now getting old enough to entertain himself, she had all the time between meals and chores to get started.
Having carried two armfuls of yarn to The Flower Mill, she found herself stuck outside without the ability to open the door. Her hands had already three bags each dangling haphazardly. So, she had turned her head from side to side seeking a savior. Spotting someone, she waved her hand at them. "Can you please help? I'll make you a drink!"

A gala starter for her magnificent date! The incredibly talented @mpyura
☽༺𖤐༻☾
🔮
The gala is a sight! The venue is stunning as are the people in attendance this evening. There are gorgeous floral arrangements everywhere, suits and gowns fit for the glossiest of magazine spreads and people with their hair done up in styles that call to mind the splendor of, well… the gods! Malea is no stranger to the finer things of life, but still, this is definitely an event that she will think of as top tier.
Her own dress, glimmering with crystals and fine feathers,is , turning heads as she makes her way through the entryway after her announcement with Yura as her date. As they walk Malea gives her date’s arm a bit of a squeeze as they move.
“This is so beautiful!” She says excited.

Butterfly pt.1 🌿 Yura
A Summer Gala starter for the lovely designer @mpyura ! Thanks for the dress!
🌿
‘I want to look like what happiness feels like.’
The instruction was the furthest thing from easy to explain to someone but Kihara had a goal in mind. The invitation had said the event was black tie and she would keep herself within the realm of evening wear- but she had to do it her way! When she had been introduced to the designer by a mutual friend Kiki had been asked not what materials she might like, or what kind of cut she’d prefer. Not even the shape of the dress or if she wanted a power suit was asked.
Yura had asked her what she wanted her outfit to make people think of when they first saw it. Kiki’s mind had fluttered over words like freedom, power, beauty but had circled back to one greater feeling.
The feeling of being happy. She wanted to chase away any possible sadness anyone felt if they glanced her way. What’s more freeing and power and beautiful than being happy? Truly being happy?
As she stands now in the gala, her eyes on Yura, she feels the way that eyes land on her. Like a ghost of a hug she can sense the way that her ensemble gives pause and makes others smile, even if it’s just a little.
“Yura!” She calls when she sees her.

mpyura:
The young woman pulled herself up and brushed herself off. “I genuinely hope so. I only noticed the sprain yesterday, and probably should have worn different shoes but you know, it’s just not me unless I’m teetering on several inches,” she stated, picking up the fallen bag and delighted to see that her savior had grabbed the box for her.
“I was delivering the box to my workplace. It’s filled with newly received fabric and accessories for my designs and work orders,” she stated. The kid seemed like a good person and she did need friends, other than her dear brothers. She adored them but sometimes, a girl just needed new companions. “I’m Yura, by the way,” she introduced herself.
She led the way to For the Fairest, making sure to walk slowly and carefully on the heels, before opening the door. “You can set the box just at the back table. That’s my sewing area,” Yuta added, setting the bag shed been carrying as well on the table. “I think, the earlier fall was my leg saying not to work today so I’ll take the hint. I really appreciate the assistance, May I buy you a coffee or lunch to pay you back for your help? We can.get to know each other better!” She exclaimed, as a genuine suggestion. “And please don’t worry about my ankle, I’ve had worse. I’ll take care of it when I have a moment,” she added.
It only occurred to him when she stood up and brushed herself off that the right thing to do, might have been to help her first instead of going straight for the box.
Or was it?
For a moment he weighed the options and unknowingly found himself lucky that the confused expression he made while he debated this in his head, could be mistaken for a look of concern.
Her introduction was what finally made him snap out of his thoughts. “I’m Maxim.” Now, this is the point he disliked most. Many people—outgoing people—would usually end up turning the introduction into a conversation with potential for further communication. The question so heavy on his mind now was – how? He debated between ‘Nice to meet you’ and ‘Nice weather, huh?’ as he absent-mindedly followed her, not sure if either would be reasonable or necessary in their conversation.
Maxim offered her a polite smile when she started talking again, grateful for her to break the silence, as his mind certainly offered up nothing sensible for him to say. He placed the box next to the bag before, he turned around to her and fished his phone out of his pocket to briefly check the time. It was his off day at the supermarket and his shift at Marimo didn’t start for another couple of hours, so there really wasn’t a reason not to agree. And while he was prideful to the point of stubbornness, he also grew up with the understanding that one should count their blessings and take what’s offered.
“Are you sure?” There was genuine concern in his voice. Less for her ankle and more for her sanity, as he wondered why she wouldn’t just get it checked out at least. Not that he was any better, but that realization would only come to him much later in the day.
“We could grab a coffee on the way to the doctor.” His gaze shifted down to her feet and up again, raising an eyebrow in a querying manner. “Maybe there’s an overpriced café close to the hospital?”
What bit of sun shone through the clouds felt warm on his face as Maxim enjoyed the open air. While he didn’t believe in New Near’s resolutions, the only one he made this year was to take a couple of hours a week to just relax. A few hours when he wouldn’t work, when he wouldn’t research anything or work out. Surprisingly, this was the first New Year's resolution which actually stuck for as long as it did. Not to say that it wasn’t a struggle from time to time to find motivation to do anything other than pace his apartment trying to find something to do. Today was one of those days, so he just decided to kill time and take a walk through town.
While he wasn’t one to spend money unless it was absolutely necessary, he did enjoy window shopping from time to time. It was always a highlight for him and his siblings to look through the glass of the storefront and find new toys every time, knowing fully well they would never be able to purchase them.
His eyes were fixed on a pair of black running shoes with tags and signs that gave false promises of the most comfortable wear but he was still tempted to walk in to try them out when his attention was interrupted by a commotion to his side. Maxim’s eyes shifted from the shoes, to the box on the ground, to the young woman, and for a split second he contemplated looking back at the shoes. But while he could be cruel and downright spiteful from time to time, he wasn’t completely heartless. Especially not without a reason.
“Are you okay?” his smile was sympathetic as he picked up the box. It’s true that Maxim wasn’t heartless but he usually wasn’t this nice or friendly either. However, he has been on this island for a while now and he didn’t have plans to leave anytime soon—might as well try to make some allies. Preferably somebody other than his boss and his co-worker; the infuriating sons of Acat.
“Did you get hurt?” Maxim paused at his own question. “Any more, I mean.” Being typically reserved and nonchalant towards strangers, the demigod knew that his social skills weren’t exactly up to par with most people’s expectations but at least he was trying, right?
His eyes fixed on the box in his hand, “Where do you need it?”

Summer Gala 2023
Vulpe gave @mpyura all creative controle in designing and creating his suit to the gala and she did not disappoint. It was just the right amount of drama, and most importantly, it looked expensive. The shoes were swapped out last second, from a traditional black to a soft pink pair to match his hair, bringing it all together and adding a little more fun.
Vulpe, per usual, attends the event alone and will spend his time conversing with his friends and acquiantances. With a glass of wine in hand.

Vulpe stepped into Yura's workshop, the familiar sights and sounds enveloping him. The soft whirring of sewing machines were like a comforting embrace. Yura's creative haven always fascinated him, a place where imagination met craftsmanship.
"Yura, my favorite sorceress of threads and needles," he greeted with a playful smile. He leaned against the counter, eyes glinting mischievously. "You know me well. I'm here for your magical touch again. Got a special request this time."
He pulled out a rough sketch from his pocket, a design that blended elegance with a hint of daring. "Think you can turn this into something bewitching?"
Kami Sama ||
@vulpe-mp
Yura could be considered a sort of magician when it came to the thread and cloth business. She had taken the high pain tolerance, the skills of tattooing and art and took it to a whole different level. She prided herself on her skills and her hand embroidery and she had a constant client in Vulpe. They had become close when he was looking for someone to design a slutty version of the Black Swan. She had done the costume in lace and and black sequins and rhinestones. It had been a sight to behold. Tasteful, set seductive. So of course, she had become almost a constant for Vulpe.
Hearing the door to the shop open, the young woman didn't even look up from the coat she'd been working on for Arawn. The God had placed a personal order. She didn't even have to look up to see who entered because of Vulpe's familiar shoes clacking on the floor. "What brings you here, Vulpe? Another slutty costume to woo your admirers?" she asked, finally looking up from the delicate beadwork.

noel always worked better at night, the sun was overbearing if he wasn’t careful so staying under the moonlight was something he tried to do since he found out the truth about who he was, so he was always found working late to try and compensate for his lack of presence during waking hours. he’d been pouring life into the sketch he was preparing for tomorrow’s appointment, taking every single detail his client had told him they wanted and while some people had some… creative ideas, this one could actually be done without much struggle. even with simple things, noel liked to put every ounce of effort into them - these were his legacy after all.
“late night for everyone, right?”
the voice broke through his thoughts and he was almost surprised, almost. it’d only been a minute since he got to the island so all faces -except two- were strange, and this one was no different. “yeah, he’s gone – ” he started only to let out an amused chuckle at her comment. if he was any good was only a question his clients could answer, and so far he’d gotten nothing but praise. “well, what little i have on myself is my own handiwork. feeling brave enough to try?” his lips curled upward in a grin, his tone lighthearted. noel was never one for stiff greetings and he hoped it showed. “do you have a design in mind or will it be freehand?”
Late Nights ||
@mpxnoel
Yura tends to pull late nights at For the Fairest, often working behind her little desk for a while, finishing up orders and making her workspace all nice and clean looking for the next day. She was almost ready to close the store up for the night after her boss had already left, since she was finishing up when the woman left her. Yura packed her bag, ready to depart, making sure that she was ready to start work again tomorrow and after turning the lights off, she closed the door. She wondered if she should go to Marimo to see if Kaz was availiable to grab a late dinner with her and even if he wasn’t, she’d head over anyway to get another tattoo on her arm to match her existing sleeve.
Heels click clacked down the road as she walked. Opening the door of the tattoo shop, she was pleasantly surprised that it was still open. “Late night for everyone, right?” she exclaimed, looking at the designs. She knew that she was very out of place but that rarely stopped her on her quests. But today, like always her classic vintage style, was very fitted with a braid style in her hair and her usual heels were black. “I’m eager to get another tattoo to add on to my collection of designs. Are you fairly good?” she asked, turning to face the guy who was in the shop as well. “I assume Kaz has departed for the night, but I would think you’re a good artist too,” she stated, grinning at him.

The fashionista was always complimenting people on their appearance as a way of greeting them either on the regular or random first meetings. She always saw that as a great way to befriend the people. Even the returned compliment was great and the seamstress did the aww shucks move, "Aww, no. You're the stunning one," she stated, but then switched iinto her business thoughts.
She had been thinking about getting back into the youtube and actual fashion design work, aside from the seamstressing. As she was asked about what she was thinking, Yura suddenly genuinely had no idea. She had some thoughts about the event itself but as for snacks and desserts, she had no idea. "I am quite excited about that. It will be fun to get back into what I used to do professionally all the time," she stated.
Yura pulled out her phone and looked at her event lists that she;d created. "About 100 or so. Its partially invite only and partially open to public. I'm eager to rebuild the audience I had, so I think what better way than to open it to public attendance as well?" she stated. As the other young woman listed off suggestions of what she could do, Yura's thoughts were swimming in excitement. "I love the idea of emblem cake, and even small cupcakes would be interesting. I'm personally not vegan but I recall some of my followers were vegan, so definately, an apple tart of some sort would be a grand idea."
"My channel logo was one of those pinup girl outlines. Like the draw me like one of your french girls, but make it vintage pinup," she added.
Eirwen kept her attentive gaze on her client, leaving the other demigoddess the space needed to figure out what she wished to do for her promotion party.
She gave a few nods in agreement with her client’s plan of a partially public event. Having some experience in business management and marketing on her hands, Eirwen thought it would not hurt to put in her two cents.
“I think that’s a smart move, especially if it’s been a while since the last time you reached beyond your loyal customer circle. If you invest in promoting the party on social media, probably there could be more than one hundred participants, you never know.”
Her smile went brighter as she saw excitement blooming on her client’s face. She started to feel enlivened evermore at the thought of making a custom cake, as it was not every day that the Black Forest Bakery received such an order.
As the other demigoddess described the emblem of her business, there was a general, if not vague, sketch of it gradually formed in Eirwen’s mind. However, the chance of her imaginary picture and the actual emblem perfectly matched was close to zero, so she asked her client a favour.
“Alright, could you please send me a picture of your store’s emblem? The more high-resolution it is the better, since we should make it as authentic as possible. You can send it to our email here,” she handed the other a business card with the bakery’s email address and other information on it. She then continued with a brief of what she had taken from their discussion so far.
“So, allow me to go through it again, so we’ll have cupcakes in various flavours, vegan apple tarts, and a custom cake with your business’s emblem on it. Is there anything else would you like to add to that?”

Eirwen showed up at the bakery more early than usual that day, suddenly having this urge to double check everything to make sure the business ran smoothly. The witchy demigoddess blamed it on the planets and the stars, since astrologically, the universe had been having fun turning life into chaos in the last few days.
So far, all batches were a success, there was not a single thing out of place, and all customers walked out with a satisfied smile and pretty boxes on their hands. As usual, Eirwen was found sitting on her favorite swivel bar stool at the corner, slightly hidden behind the colorful display cabinets. The angle provided her a wide-sweeping view of the bakery, allowing her to quickly spot customers who might require assistance.
Eirwen had just finished helping a customer to pick the right tart for her lunch when she turned around and saw a gorgeous young lady talking to herself. She waited for their eyes to meet to greet the other with a friendly smile, indicating that she was at her service. The compliment for her appearance was unexpected yet welcomed, and so Eirwen’s smile went slightly sheepish as she responded.
“Thank you so much, you look wonderful too!” And that comment was not just for the sake of reciprocating the other’s nice words. The next question came out as a habit, “How can I help you today?”
What the other demigoddess was looking for was right up in Eirwen’s alley. She had been supplying for enough promotion parties to know what would often please the mass. But, since no promotion party was the same as the other, she offered both of them more time to explore what her customer was having in her mind.
“Oh, promotion parties are always fun, you must be excited for that!” She started with friendliness and enthusiasm, something she learned that usually helped build rapport with customers. “Have you got an idea of how many people you are expecting at the party? And who are they? We can customize a cake with a specific color theme, icon, or emblem of your business. If you’re thinking about a buffet, customized cupcakes would be a great choice as well! And there are vegan choices, of course, like apple or gelatine cakes.”

Yura had been debating whether she should come back to her Youtube channel and keep her seamstress job as a part time thing for a long time. There was something that she was missing in her life. Maybe it was the freedom that she was missing. Regardless, it was something that she had to think about more as to what she actually wanted to do.
While she thought, however, she delved into ideas on how to get back in her groove with social media. She could always throw a promo party of sorts, like what designers did to show off new collections. That was something within her skill set. Yura pondered though what she could do for snacks. Snacks were important for parties like that, in her experience.
Remembering that there was a bakery close on her way to work, she stepped inside the bakery, looking at all the cakes on display. “Oh, maybe I could do mini cupcakes? Or maybe cake pops…” she muttered to herself. She looked up seeing the pretty owner of the bakery.
“You’re really pretty. Your proportions are very nice,” she stated, looking at the girl and then to the cakes. “I was hoping to order some cakes for a promotion party but I’m still deciding as to what I want to do..”
