BIOGRAFIA OU HEADCANON:

Olhos do pai e cabelos da mãe. “É uma menina”. A pupila dilatada do menor ao ver o pequeno ser no colo de sua mãe o irradia de questionamentos, muito provavelmente de como tudo aquilo era possível, já que a pouco tempo atrás sua mãe estava aos gritos.  O nascimento de Meraki foi uma benção para a família. Não esperavam que fosse uma pequena garotinha, até porque com dois filhos homens, esperava-se que pela genética, a linha continuasse.  Kahli, provedor do lar, sorria de orelha a orelha. “Minha menina. Veja, Laurs e Pier, a nova irmãzinha de vocês. Não é a minha cara?”. A felicidade adentrava mais uma vez no lar dos Clifford. As duas crianças se aproximaram do corpo frágil do bebê e o beijaram no topo da cabeça. Meraki conseguia na grande maioria das vezes o que queria quando abria um sorrisinho ladino e um olhar pidão. Seus irmãos eram dois babões e encantados com o fato dela parecer uma bonequinha, ou seja, sempre faziam os favores absurdos e mimos que ela exigia, nem que isso causasse cansaço. Seu núcleo familiar era bem estruturado e não lhe faltava nenhum ponto relevante o suficiente que fizesse com que um vazio crescesse em si. Apesar disso, havia discussões de convivência, mas o casal evitava discutir na frente das crianças. Até o momento, com 7 anos, Meraki viveu um mini conto de fadas. Ocorre que, enquanto brincava com seu irmão Pier, acabou comentando que conseguia ouvir um burburinho de algumas plantas que enfeitavam sua casa. Seu irmão achou que era algum tipo de brincadeira e não levou adiante, tão pouco comunicou os pais. 

Passado mais um mês e Meraki comentou novamente que conseguia ouvir a voz das flores. Isso causou uma certa inquietação em seus pais, mas como ela era tão pequena podia apenas ser uma imaginação fértil. Todavia, a garotinha começou a realmente conversar com as plantas, como se fossem seus amigos. Isso assustou seus pais pois eles imaginaram que ela poderia ter algum tipo de problema psicológico. Até então não passou na cabeça deles que ela poderia ter algum tipo de magia. Seus pais tentaram relevar esses picos de estranhezas de sua filha, até que seu aniversário de 10 anos chegou e conforme lei implantada pelos guardiões ela estava na idade de passar pelo teste de aptidão mágica. Meraki já sentia algo diferente em si, mas não imaginava que fosse realmente ser recrutada, crença igual à de seus genitores, tanto que seus irmãos já haviam passado pelo teste e não foi detectado nenhum tipo de magia. Mas para surpresa de todos a menina era uma corrompida. Não houve um choque de forma negativa quando seus pais souberam, apenas uma surpresa, pois eles não estavam esperando por isso. Agora os pontos se conectaram na mente deles.

4. What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?

Lenient for sure, especially as she got older. Her parents weren't around often, busy with their own jobs, so there wasn't much supervision at all. Even when she was younger, the most she got was like, a slap on the wrist

7. What was the economic status of their family?

Her family is your very typical upper middle-class family living in the suburbs. White picket fence, nice backyard, all that jazz. Sort of that in-between where money still has meaning, but she and her family were comfortable and didn't have to worry about that sort of thing. That freedom definitely allowed her to develop her hobbies that led to her wanting to be a musician

9. What about political beliefs?

Her political beliefs are what I personally like to classify as "common fucking sense", y'know the usual everyone should have basic rights as a minimum and that there needs to be some serious improvements to The Everything Going On, so if you want to sum it up, I guess you could call her progressive lmao

13. Did they like school? Teachers? Schoolmates?

She liked school to a point. She liked it for the social aspect and she is smart so she excelled, but it wasn't her absolute favorite place to be. Like anything outside of music, for her it was an obligation. Teachers, well, that depended on them. Even as a kid, she had kind of a big mouth so whether that got her on their bad side was very dependent. As for her fellow schoolmates, of course she bonded with Seven and eventually the rest of the band through school so they're like top tier and she most focused on fostering those relationships rather than having a lot of shallow ones.

22. Who are their friends? Lovers? ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?

Closest current friends are obviously the band- Rowan, Iris, Devyn, and Jazzy, they've all known each other since high school so they pretty much know each other like the back of their hands. Seven was once on that list but, as we know, that's Complicated. As for lovers, Seven is the only one she's had, even now. She's not the type to do random hookups, she is a very sentimental and romantic bitch and wants her romantic relationships to Mean something. As for her "type", she just wants someone who's gonna understand and support her. She wants to feel comfortable around her partner, someone with who she can be Maeve and not Maeve Divine.

25. What are their hobbies and interests?

Music is the main one, obviously. She loved it so much that she turned it into a career. She had a few hobbies as a kid, but music is the only one that really stuck with her. Outside of music, she loves makeup, she loves doing like fun graphic eyeliner looks for her shows, that's become part of her signature look.

26. What does your character’s home look like? Personal taste? Clothing? Hair? Appearance?

So appearance wise, the faceclaim I use for her is Moya Palk, with a few changes (usually with darker brown hair and deeper blue eyes), but that's generally the reference I use for her. Makeup wise, always a deep red lip, always some kind of fun eyeliner or eyeshadow look (in black, of course). Her apartment very much has that sort of "first time living on your own" vibe, it's small but she loves it. A lot of the furniture is dark, with lighter walls to contrast, and the walls are covered in posters of different albums and artists that she loves. Her pride and joy is her album wall, where she has framed prints of all of her favorite albums (think like the Hot Topic rock wall but framed prints instead of t-shirts). Her personal style is very typical "rockstar", y'know it's black, tight, leather, mesh, chains, studs, all the accoutrements. On stage, she's always got all these embellishments, and her off-stage looks are very similar, maybe just slightly less embellished.
