when will i draw in colour again? when i stop being allergic to having my tablet on my desk
seriously i already slowed down tablet use when i got a second monitor on here 3 years ago, but it rolled to a STOP after i put a mousemat on here. i hate having the tablet on the mousemat.

i just think it's really funny that (with the heavy help of my partner aka them doing all the planning and the physical work) i have a brand sparkly new PC built now and i'm STILL using the back of my '2016/17 academic diary' as a mousemat 💀💀💀
#my life and stuff#also picked up some turtle beach recon 200s for £24.99 in cash converters and got a new mouse half price for £7.50#(the mouse is superior to the old mouse as the side buttons haven't fallen off)#and yet the mousemat persists as the back of a hardback diary#hasn't failed me yet#but honestly thank the gods i've managed to transfer all the data over from my billion year old slow as balls laptop that i haven't used#uuh since like 2020 except for Scanning Documents (very slowly)#hello again tumblr from desktop not the app

the doctor used his phone torch to look down my throat today
idk what i was expecting
but it wasn't that
#i usually get tonsillitis once a year#but i think it's strep this time (a bunch of people at my dad's work have it and he may be asymptomatic)#but it's the new doctor and based on my record he probably thinks it can only be tonsillitis#so he's like 'hmm throat looks fine tho'#and it's like 'yes. because it's below the tonsils but above the chest.'#anyway at least he prescribes me the correct medicine#but literally just ask any drug company to give you a free little flashlight#i'm sure they have them lying around with their branding on them#i'm pretty sure the main doctor has never paid for a pen or mousemat or torch in her life#misc: personal#illness cw
