While Isha Koppikar has her standards and floor guidelines laid for her stylists, she lets them check out their creativity after which makes modifications in response to her style. “I like to be comfortable in what I wear and it has to be subtle but glam,” she says. Tanya Ghavri says Kareena Kapoor’s alternative could be very basic, and Sara is extra experimental. “She’s trying out many different things, she loves colours, prints. Kareena is very monochromatic. She likes more solid colours, she’s more of a classic. She knows what works on her and what doesn’t. She’s figured herself out while Sara is still figuring,” she notes. We then try the fittings and discuss the hair and makeup. Collectively, we have 2-3 options and then we shortlist the one we like the most. The challenges While the stylists make an artiste’s life simple, it’s not all the time really easy for them to take action. “It seems like a fun job, but it’s not,” cautions Maneka. “Back to the day when it was domestic sourcing, life was very different, till about eight years back when we started sourcing internationally. What managers and artistes don’t understand is that

That’s the kind of coordination we have to do everyday. Sometimes it takes months and months of planning for a look. So we still have to keep stuff ready in case they call last minute. 99 percent of my sourcing is international. So I have to pre-empt what my next few months are going to be like, what are the kinds of events that I have, and I have to pre-order. Sometimes stuff is used, sometimes it’s wasted and we send it back. We spend all that money and it’s wasted,” she additional explains. Another problem that Maneka level out is to crack a social media barter with worldwide designers. “What most artistes don’t understand is that at the end of the day we are just agents in between, with an aesthetic sense. They need to have a decent amount of following, they need to invest in a good photoshoot that will benefit the designer. As the nation struggles to battle COVID-19, Bollywood celebrities continue to do their bit. Actress Mouni Roy who's known for her powerful on-screen performances has now come forward to help those in major need of support. The star has now decided to auction her paintings, pictures of which she shares on social media and use the proceeds for a noble cause. In a special post, Mouni shared that she will contribute the amount for cyclone Amphan relief fund.

For the unversed, the catastrophic Supercyclone Amphan tore through West Bengal affecting the southern zone including the capital city of Kolkata. The proceeds from the auctions will be contributed towards Goonj's Rahat Amphan relief fund. Goonj is a Non-Profit Organisation headquartered in Delhi, India which undertakes disaster relief, humanitarian aid and community development.

Amitabh Bachchan recently shared pictures from the sets of his upcoming film Brahmastra on Tuesday. Ayan Mukerji directed film Brahmastra also stars Alia Bhatt alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles. On the Instagram post featuring Ranbir Kapoor, the cine icon revealed that his co-star Ranbir is “one of” his “favourites” and wrote, “At work with one of my favourites, Ranbir.” In the photograph, Amitabh Bachchan can be seen sitting on four chairs. Praising Ranbir’s talent, Big B added to the caption, “I need four (chairs) to keep up his enormous talent.” Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the screen space for the first time. Sharing the pictures on Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan wrote: “Work starts early…like 6 am. Rehearsing, blocking and then shooting it… with one of my favourites.”

Ranbir Kapoor’s father Rishi Kapoor has featured in several films with Amitabh Bachchan including 1983 film Coolie, 1991’s Ajooba, 1981’s Naseeb and 1977’s Amar Akbar Anthony among others. His mother Neetu Singh has also co-starred the iconic actor in various films like 1976’s Adalat, 1977’s Parvarish, 1978’s Kasme Vaade, 1979’s The Great Gambler and many more.

This is not the first time when Amitabh Bachchan praised Ranbir Kapoor. Earlier, in an interview with news agency IANS, Big B complimented Ranbir Kapoor and said, “His face is God’s blessing. He doesn’t seem to make any effort to convey emotions whereas I’ve to constantly struggle to express myself and ask the director to help me.”

The 37-year-old actor had replied, “I think I can’t get bigger compliment than that. Of course, you feel great. Bachchan saab is like family to me so, I always feel that he is being extra sweet because he treats (me) like family.”

In another post from last year, Amitabh Bachchan thanked Ranbir for giving him the “elixir of life.” Sharing a picture with the actor Big B captioned, “Thank you Ranbir Kapoor for giving me the elixir of life. Still buzzing buddy Ranbir Kapoor.”

Apart from Alia, Ranbir and Big B, Brahmastra also stars Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia and Akkineni Nagarjuna in key roles. Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly make a guest appearance in the film.

Brahmastra is a fantasy trilogy. The film’s first part is slated to release on December 4. Brahmastra has been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will feature in an upcoming film Chehre alongside Emraan Hashmi. His forthcoming releases also include Gulabo Sitaboand Jhund.
