USGS photographer Alan Cressler, UT Professor Jan Simek, Historian/Author Rickey Butch Walker & veteran caver Scott Shaw w/ SCCI. I learned about the Dstretch app through Alan, then spent the majority of 2018 searching rock walls and caves for faded red ochre pictographs in bankhead forest. In January 2019 I came across 2 faint red lines & applied Dstretch filters revealing the 2nd image in this post. There's no doubt more red ochre paintings exist but are hard to find, so keep your eyes peeled out there!
