royal enfield shotgun 650
1.Royal Enfield's Next Iconic Bike in 2024
2.is that better than 650cc bikes in Royal Enfield series?
3.Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse edition priced at Rs 4.25 lakh
Royal Enfield's Next Iconic Bike in 2024
In 2021 Milan Show, Royal Enfield has introduced the concept of SG650 Twin in EICMA show, SG Means shotgun, Royal Enfield's biggest surprise at this year's Motoverse in Goa was the unveiling of the new Shotgun 650. May 2024 is anticipated to see the launch of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 in India, with a projected price range of ₹ 3,00,000 to ₹ 3,50,000.The idea motorcycle's design features include a single floating-style seat, a short tubular handlebar, bar-end mirrors, chopped front and rear fender sections, and chunky tires. Additional styling references include the front end's polished aluminum finish in a classic manner and the fuel tank's digital graphics, which resemble modern motorcycles. Additionally, the 650cc parallel-twin engine has computerized graphics installed and Royal Enfield's next bobber-styled motorcycle will probably be built around this design.
A CNC billet machine fuel tank, wheels constructed of a solid aluminum block with integrated ABS, dual disc brakes at the front, upside-down front forks, and a hand-stitched black leather seat completed the concept motorbike. However, the final production model will be far more subdued.
Although the mechanical specs are currently unknown, we anticipate that they will be comparable to those of the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor INT 650. The 648cc parallel-twin engine of the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor INT 650 produces 52Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm and 47bhp at 7,250 rpm.
The paint scheme and graphics on this bike are unique to this edition, which will be limited to only 25 units. The production model will have more traditional graphics and paint schemes.RE claims that every unit of this bike has been customized over the course of months.
is that better than 650cc bikes in Royal Enfield series?
Although Royal Enfield has not revealed the bike's technical specifications, we do know that it is powered by the same 649cc parallel-twin engine that powers other 650s like the Interceptor 650.
The main chassis resembles that of the Super Meteor 650, but the rest of the cycle parts and overall geometry of the Shotgun differ to provide a unique riding experience. Currently on the market, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, and Kawasaki Vulcan S are bikes that resemble the Shotgun 650. The BSA Gold Star, which will go on sale in India in December 2024, is another motorcycle that resembles the Shotgun 650.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse edition priced at Rs 3.50 lakh :
At the event, the company displayed the Motoverse edition of the bike, which will be limited to only 25 units. This first batch of special edition Shotguns will be sold to 25 lucky Motoverse attendees for Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This iteration is essentially a preview of the Shotgun 650's simpler and possibly more affordable production version.
The Shotgun 650 is based on the SG650 concept, which RE unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan in 2021. The Motoverse edition of the bike is distinguished by custom-designed, hand-painted body panels with gradient-style graphics.Notably, each of the 25 Shotgun 650 Motoverse trim units was custom-built over months and will never be produced again. While RE refers to it as a neo-retro roadster, the single-seat version resembles a bobber. However, a pillion seat will be available as an option.
Mechanically, the Shotgun 650 is similar to the Super Meteor 650, but it has a few differences, such as different wheels and overall geometry. Even the ergonomics of the Shotgun are distinct from those of other RE 650s. The engine is visually the same 649cc, air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine found in other RE 650s. This engine produces 47bhp and 52Nm and is mated to a six-speed transmission. We believe the brand has slightly altered the tuning of this motor for the Shotgun in order to match its personal preferences.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse edition will be delivered in January 2024, followed by the production model's debut in Europe and India.

Royal Enfield's 650cc Lineup in India: New Additions and Future Surprises Unveiled
Royal Enfield has a stacked lineup of 650 cc offerings in India. Following the good reception for the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in the domestic and international markets, Royal Enfield expanded its portfolio by introducing the Super Meteor 650 earlier this year – a few months after its debut in late 2022 in EICMA and subsequently Rider Mania. The flagship cruiser is garnering decent volume sales as well.
Up next, the Chennai-based manufacturer is planning to launch another 650 cc motorcycle, which has been caught testing multiple times alongside the Super Meteor 650 and the recently launched Himalayan 450. At the MotoVerse 2023, formerly known as Rider Mania, Royal Enfield surprised the media and crowd gathered by unveiling the near-production Shotgun 650.
However, the motorcycle’s availability is restricted to 25 units as it is a factory custom and is sold only to show-goers with MotoVerse ID. The SG650 concept made its global debut at the 2021 EICMA show in Milan, Italy and its production version, which will closely resemble the factory custom, will likely be launched in early 2024.
It will be positioned below the Super Meteor 650 and could cost around Rs. 3.3 lakh (ex-showroom). It will ride on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels and will boast relaxed ergonomics to suit everyday riding more than the Super Meteor. It will be powered by the familiar 648 cc parallel-twin producing a maximum power output of 47 PS and 52.3 Nm.
The features list will compose a semi-digital instrument console with Tripper Navigation as standard, LED headlamp, tail lamp and turn indicators, black finished alloy wheels, peashooter exhaust system, single- and dual-seating configurations, a muscular fuel tank, a wide and upright handlebar, upside down front forks, twin-sided shocks, etc.
In late 2024, we do expect Royal Enfield to further strengthen the 650 cc range by adding a scrambler to the portfolio and it has been spied quite a few times already. It could be launched in the first half of 2025. The spy images indicate that it will have a two-into-one exhaust system and will be equipped with tuck and roll seat and block pattern tyres.

Royal Enfield Unveils The Shotgun 650
Royal Enfield unveils the Shotgun 650 - a custom inspired neo-retro motorcycle. After decades of inspiring as well as being inspired by custom culture, Royal Enfield has unveiled a stunning, one-of-its-kind, custom-inspired roadster. The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 made its global debut in Goa today, at Motoverse 2023. While the continuous production motorcycle itself will be launched early next year, the Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition is a limited release, custom-designed colourway, only 25 of which will be available for reservation until 25th November at midnight. Available exclusively for the Motoverse community, nothing like these machines will ever be made again, making the event a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own this collectable motorcycle. Built on Royal Enfield’s 650-Twin platform, the Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition is a tribute to the culture of customisation. It pays homage to its precursor, the SG650 Concept, with its neo-destopian design and celebrates the possibilities offered by Royal Enfield motorcycles as a canvas for the most creative minds in motorcycling.
Speaking about the launch of this new motorcycle, Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd., said, “The Shotgun 650 is a drop-dead gorgeous, custom-inspired motorcycle that brings together more than a century of Royal Enfield’s pure motorcycling DNA with the renegade spirit of custom culture. The objective was to build this modular, shape-shifting machine that is almost like a mutant disguised as a motorcycle. Powered by our award-winning 650-Twin platform, and an absolute delight to ride on straights and the twisties, the Shotgun 650 is our attempt to bring niche and newer categories of motorcycles to growing enthusiasts of self-expression across the world” The Motoverse edition of the Shotgun 650 takes inspiration from the motorcycles of the future. Its custom- designed, hand-painted body features a carefully crafted gradient and neon detailing that no factory can produce. Each of these 25 motorcycles have been customised over months, making it unlike any other Royal Enfield or unlike any other motorcycle on the road today.
Speaking about the inspiration and the design of the motorcycle, Mark Wells, Chief of Design at Royal Enfield, said, “Designing the Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition was an exhilarating journey for the design team into the future of Royal Enfield. After we had shown the SG650 Concept at EICMA in 2021, it gathered huge interest from international custom builders and got heads turning, so much so that we decided to build it as a production motorcycle. The Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition is built by the same team that designed the Concept and is therefore remarkably close to the concept - much more so than is usually possible. It retains the cast aluminium nascelle, chopped fenders, angular bodywork and that confident, aggressive stance. At the heart of this motorcycle is the simplicity of its form and the pure metal composition that is testament to its inspiration - custom culture. The Shotgun 650 offers a perfect canvas for experienced builders as well as for someone who is just starting on their journey of customization.” The Shotgun 650 takes Royal Enfield's legacy of customization further by offering a canvas that allows motorcyclists to make a statement without sacrificing the benefits of Royal Enfield’s dedicated after-sales service ecosystem. Conceived as a revolutionary neo-retro roadster, the intent of the Shotgun 650 was to break free from historical constraints while preserving the brand's core DNA. The motorcycle represents a harmonious blend of tradition and progress, with meticulously made aluminium parts that seamlessly integrate classic aesthetics with modern graphics. Featuring a revolutionary modular design, the Shotgun 650 is capable of transforming from a classic single-seater to a dual-seater to a weekend tourer in minutes, inviting riders to embark on a journey of personalization like never before. Its tight proportions and low-slung silhouette allow for planted handling with optimum ergonomics.
The tank, closely matching that of the SG650 concept, represents a new direction while respecting Royal Enfield’s historical forms, as do the unique ten spoke wheel rims with integrated ABS. The front suspension features upside down forks and an integrated aluminium top yoke with low-rise extra-wide handlebars. At the rear, twin shocks are mounted to the iconic chassis loop, with a hand-stitched black leather floating solo seat that showcases contemporary craftsmanship with a nod to the past. The Shotgun 650 is built on the robust 650cc platform, celebrated for its impressive performance and adaptability. The engine, a blacked-out 650-Twin with all new gloss black engine covers, is paired with a custom exhaust system that heralds the aesthetics of the future, while simultaneously harking back to the joy of an aural experience that has long been the hallmark of Royal Enfield. The motorcycle comes preloaded with bespoke Royal Enfield Genuine motorcycle accessories such as bar end mirrors and LED black indicators. In addition to this, the limited edition motorcycle will be offered with extended warranty.
The exclusive, limited production Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition embodies the spirit of originality and self- expression, guaranteeing its owners access to an exclusive club that owns a unique piece of the brand’s heritage. The always-on production motorcycle will be launched early next year across the world, starting with Europe and India. Read the full article

Royal Enfield Goan 350 Name Trademarked
Royal Enfield Launches
Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 will focus on a more comfortable riding stance, best suited for long distance journeys
Royal Enfield is currently working on a slew of new motorcycles based on its three main platforms, the J-series 350cc, twin-cylinder 650cc and the latest Sherpa 450cc liquid-cooled engine. The 350cc category is the highest-selling and most popular choice amongst customers.
Royal Enfield has a strong grasp of the 350cc segment with bestsellers like Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Super Meteor 350.Coming soon is the Goan Classic 350 that will further strengthen Royal Enfield’s entry-level portfolio.

Royal Enfield Trademarks
Goan Classic 350 name is likely to be used for the bobber-style motorcycle that has been spotted on road tests multiple times in recent months.
The name seems to have been inspired by the party capital of India – Goa, which also sits well with the bike maker as Royal Enfield has its Garage Cafe in Goa, and celebrates its annual motorcycle festival, Motoverse aka Rider Mania, in the state as well.
How is Goan Classic 350 different from Classic 350?
Spy images of the 350cc bobber have revealed that while the bike will carry traditional Royal Enfield design cues, critical changes will lead to very different ergonomics from the rest of the 350cc models.
For instance, the forward-set foot pegs will be complemented by taller handlebars twisted towards the rider. This will lend the bike an appearance of a traditional American chopper.

Goan Classic 350 name trademarked in India
Taller handlebars can contribute to improved back posture, better control on challenging terrains, and increased stability.
Goan Classic 350 could also see changes in the seat design and seat height. A test mule spotted recently was seen with a rear pillion seat. This could be made available via a separate variant or as an accessory.
The bobber 350 could also have slightly forward set footpegs. Test mule sightings also reveal that Goan Classic 350 will have a different exhaust tip. As a result, it is likely that the exhaust note will also be distinct.

Goan Classic 350 specs, performance
Most of the hardware for the bobber version will be the same as Classic 350. Typical bobber motorcycles have a longer wheelbase. But that’s not the case with the Goan Classic 350. Royal Enfield has favoured a mild bobber look and feel, instead of going for a full-fledged makeover. The latter could have necessitated major tweaks to the platform, which in turn will increase development and production cost. Goan Classic 350 will have the same 1,390 mm of wheelbase as Classic 350.
Since we expect the Goan Classic 350 to be a special edition model, the underpinnings and engine might remain unchanged. So, the motorcycle will use a 349cc, air/oil-cooled motor that will make 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm. The engine will come paired with a five-speed gearbox.
