Check Registration by the Chassis Number
How can I verify a Two-Wheeler's VIN number? You can check your two-wheeler's VIN number in a few different ways. You can check the details online by going to the NR e-services website. In addition to this, you can find the VIN number using a number of offline resources, such as your dealer, the dashboard of your car, the hood, the spare tyre, etc. The various ways to obtain your vehicle's VIN information will be covered in this article.
If you own a car, you've probably heard of terms like "chassis" and "vehicle identification number" etc. Do you know what they are specifically or where they are located on your car, though? To learn more about it, keep reading.
What is a Chassis Number or VIN? A Vehicle Identification Number, also known as a VIN or the Chassis number, is a unique identification number assigned to every vehicle. In India, the relevant authorities use this number to check registration by chassis number. Every single motor vehicle has a 17-digit VIN number that serves as the only means of identification for the vehicle. The VIN Chassis number of your car may be useful for a variety of reasons. The place and year of the vehicle's manufacture, as well as other significant figures and details, are implied by the VIN number. If you want to order specific car parts and are curious about the exact make and model of the car in question, you might also be interested in knowing the VIN number.
Tumblr media
Different ways how to check your vehicle’s Chassis number How to check your car's chassis number is the next logical question. The VIN number may be visible on the plates attached to the chassis or frame of the vehicle. Typically, a VIN is stamped on the chassis, visible on the fixed plate for vehicle compliance, or located at the bottom angle of the windscreen. The receipt and registration certificate of the vehicle also include the VIN or chassis number. A skilled auto mechanic can locate any issues with the VIN number in the event that there are any. You might wonder how to determine the chassis number from the In-Vehicle Identification Numbers, or VIN, of the vehicle. Because the VIN is located differently in cars and motorcycles, the category of the vehicle one owns will determine how to trace the VIN. An engine number is a unique number that is engraved on the engine of a vehicle. Let's look at a few typical locations to look up your car's chassis number.
How to get your vehicle detailed online? Visit the official website of VAHAN, an online national registry project by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, if you want to find out information about your vehicle online. Your vehicle's registration number is stored in the registry, and you can find all the information about it online. Here's how to accomplish that.
Step 1: Go to VAHAN's official website. Step 2: From the menu bar, select "Know Your Vehicle Details". Step 3: When prompted, give the registration number for your vehicle. Step 4: Type in the Captcha code and select "Search Vehicle" However, the insurance won't divulge the entire engine or chassis number in order to protect your privacy.

Tumblr media
At the EICMA 2022, Royal Enfield finally unveiled the new Super Meteor 650 bike. After the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, the new bike is the third 650cc bike that the company has released. The 648cc parallel-twin engine from the other two motorcycles is used in the Super Meteor 650. The new Meteor 650 has been given a cruiser design language, similar to that of its younger sibling, the Meteor 350, in contrast to the other two bikes. Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey, and Interstellar Green are the five colour options for the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Solo Tourer model. The grand tourer version of the Super Meteor 650 Tourer will be offered in two colour schemes: Celestial Red and Celestial Blue. The bike's cost and availability in India haven't been made public yet.
Tumblr media
The riding position is one of a cruiser's key features. The Super Meteor is the closest to the 700cc segment that it can get. The bike has wide, pulled-back handlebars, a low, scalloped seat, and fully forward foot controls. All these design modifications, according to Royal Enfield, will give the rider a sense of belonging to their motorcycle. According to Royal Enfield, the bike was developed in collaboration with Harris Performance. The all-new chassis offers a low centre of gravity for high-speed stability and easy manoeuvrability. Among the notable additions are USD forks, LED headlamps, a TBT navigation system, and redesigned engine covers. Bar end mirrors, deluxe footpegs, solo finishers, LED indicators, machined wheels, a deluxe touring dual-seat, a touring windscreen, a passenger backrest, deluxe footpegs, long haul panniers, a touring handlebar, and LED indicators are just a few of the accessories that will be included with the bikes. "We have always had a different approach to building motorcycles, and our new cruiser, the Super Meteor 650, is the next evolution of this approach," said Siddhartha Lal, managing director of Eicher Motors Ltd. We designed the Super Meteor to be completely pleasurable to all senses as a result of our own long-distance riding experiences as well as those of our customers. The riding ergonomics have been fine-tuned to offer a leisurely, yet in-control riding experience and the overall premium fit-finish of parts and materials evoke visual and sensory delight. The engine is extremely refined and responsive and offers a relaxed part-throttle experience at highway-plus speeds. Generations of Royal Enfield cruisers have served as inspiration for the Super Meteor's stunning silhouette and contours, which are both recognizable and utterly unique.   Tags : super meteor, Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650,Royal Enfield Super Meteor, Royal Enfield Meteor 650, royal enfield Read the full article

Bajaj Pulsar 150: All You Need to Know
The Bajaj Pulsar is one of the most popular commuter bikes in India. There are seven models in Bajaj's Pulsar domain. Those include, in ascending order: Bajaj Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180, Pulsar 220F, Pulsar 135 LS, NS 160, Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, and Bajaj Pulsar RS 200.
Interestingly, the Pulsar brand made the Bajaj brand a pioneer in making motorcycles.
Tumblr media
Apart from that, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 remains one of the bestselling models in the country. So, what factors contributed to making the bike a bestseller? Let's find that out.
Bajaj Pulsar 150: Exterior
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 bike's exterior has striking looks with its sharp and edgy design elements that have attracted youth. The bike retains the Pulsar DNA design, and one can't mistakenly identify it with any other bike on the market. It features a bikini fairing cowl around the halogen headlamp unit. Besides that, the raked windscreen and muscular fuel tank with edgy tank shrouds make the Pulsar 150 a stunning-looking bike. Apart from that, the bike's tail has a sharp edge with integrated LED tail-lights. Beneath that, it gets a dual-tone exhaust muffler and alloy wheels. Furthermore, the Pulsar 150 gets dual-tone colour options. Overall, the bike has an elevated sense of design.
Bajaj Pulsar 150: Features
Bajaj bikes are well-known for providing a fair number of features. The Bajaj Pulsar 150's features include a clip-on handlebar, a semi-digital instrument cluster, an engine kill switch, tubeless tyres, a DC headlamp unit, self-cancelling turn indicators, and backlit controls, to name a few. However, at the same time, it also has alloy wheels, a disc brake, and an electric start that are standard. Some of the Pulsar 150's rivals lack these standard features, but they were kept optional.
Bajaj Pulsar 150: Powertrain
The Bajaj Pulsar is a bike that has a decent amount of power. For those who want to kickstart their dreams of owning a bike on a budget, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 could be an ideal option. However, it can be safe to say that the Pulsar 150 is an entry-level performance bike with respect to the Indian two-wheeler market. The success of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 is all thanks to the first-gen's healthy power output, and that is carried forward in the ongoing model. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 specifications include a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with an output of 13.8bhp and 13.25Nm of peak torque. It gets DTS-i technology that makes the bike more fuel-efficient. As claimed by the bikemaker, the mileage of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 is 65kmpl. That makes it one of the most fuel-efficient bikes in India.
As for the transmission, it is available with a five-speed constant mesh gearbox.
The BS6-compliance of the Pulsar 150's twin discs weighs 148 kg, which is 4 kg heavier than the BS4's 144 kg. Apart from that, the bike also gets a single-channel ABS in its variants.
Bajaj Pulsar 150: Prices and Variants
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 price starts at Rs 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base model, the Neon BS6 variant. It goes up to Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top model, the Twin Disc BS6 variant.  So, above were a few tit-bits about the bike. It is long overdue for the bike to receive a complete makeover. If you are looking for a Pulsar 150 successor, check out the curated list of upcoming bikes in India. Apart from the Bajaj 150, you can also apply filters and set your budget accordingly.

Connected Motorcycle Market is Projected to Grow $757 Million by 2027, at a CAGR of 54.7%.
The report “Connected Motorcycle Market by Hardware (Embedded, Tethered), Calling Service, Communication Type (V2V, V2I), Network Type (C-V2X, DSRC), End-User (Private, Commercial), Service, Motorcycle Type, Application, Propulsion & Region – Global Forecast to 2027″, size is projected to grow from USD 55 million in 2021 to USD 757 million by 2027, at a CAGR of 54.7%.
Factors such as rising premium motorcycle sales around the world, growing demand for motorcycle safety and driver assistance along with growing demand for usage-based insurance and infotainment systems in motorcycles will boost the demand for the connected motorcycle market. The upcoming regulations for rider safety in motorcycles in countries around the world will also boost the market.
Commercial segment is estimated to account for the largest market during the forecast period
Commercial users of connected motorcycles include fleet managers, insurance providers, and other service providers. All these stakeholders rely on real-time vehicle data collected using a tracking device. For instance, a tracking device in a vehicle can be installed under the bonnet or on the windscreen. It collects vehicle data for analysis by a network provider. The network provider then provides information to the insurance provider.  Vodafone Automotive offers usage-based insurance for vehicles in partnership with Generali Group. These insurers also offer additional value-added services such as theft alerts, crash assistance, roadside recovery, and emergency services including eCall and bCall. Usage-based insurance reduces the cost of premiums while offering easy claims. An accident/crash scene can be accurately reconstructed using the collected data. Hence, it helps reduce the number of false claims. Companies like Hertz Ride, Bikesbooking, Eagle Rider, Riderly, MdorNomad, RentaRide, Edelweissbike, Indian Motorcycle, and RetroVentures provide motorcycle leasing services for private individuals and corporations. They use connected vehicle features for their ride-hailing services. Many logistics companies also use connectivity services on their motorcycles to enable location tracking and vehicle dynamics for their delivery personnel. This leads to a rise in demand for connected motorcycles in the commercial vehicle sector.
Download PDF Brochure @ https://www.marketsandmarkets.com/pdfdownloadNew.asp?id=16392581
eCall is estimated to account for the largest market size during the forecast period
The eCall system comprises components such as positioning system (GPS [global positioning system]/GLONASS [global navigation satellite system]), communication system (GSM [global system for mobile communications]), and electronic control units. Once the vehicle sensors detect a crash or collision, the system automatically dials the emergency number and contacts the nearest emergency call center. The systems also collect a minimum set of data such as time of the accident, accurate position, and description of the crashed vehicle. The eCall function can be manually triggered in case the rider wants to contact the emergency center. The system is expected to increase the chances of survival in case of fatal crashes. The eCall service providers must comply with the data privacy regulations. According to upcoming EU regulations, the European eCall services will be activated only in case of an accident. Hence, the systems cannot track the vehicle all the time. The eCall services would be beneficial for motorcyclists, which are accident-prone road users.
Asia Pacific is expected to be the largest market by 2027
By 2027, Asia Pacific is expected to be the largest market for connected motorcycles because of its high motorcycle sales. Motorcycle sales in the region are higher than combined motorcycle sales in all other regions. In 2016, India surpassed China to become the largest motorcycle market in the world. While embedded systems are complex and costly to incorporate, tethered systems would be a preferred choice of OEMs in this region. Apart from India and China, Southeast Asian countries such as Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand are expected to have a significant share of the market. As budget motorcycles dominate the market in these countries, affordable tethered system is expected to be included in the upcoming connected motorcycles.
Request Free Sample Report @ https://www.marketsandmarkets.com/requestsampleNew.asp?id=16392581
“Asia is expected to be the fastest-growing market during the forecast period.”
The Asia Pacific region comprises major motorcycle markets such as China, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The region accounted for more than 90% of the global motorcycle sales in 2020. As two-wheelers are a preferred mode of transportation due to affordability and low maintenance, Asian countries such as India, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam have a high motorcycle penetration. Mid and budget-segment motorcycles dominate the market in these countries. However, with a steady increase in disposable income and rising demand for high-performance motorcycles, the region has attracted a number of premium motorcycle manufacturers.
Key Market Players:
The connected motorcycle market is dominated by Major OEMs including Yamaha (Japan), Suzuki (Japan), Kawasaki (Japan), BMW (Germany), and Harley Davidson (US) and component manufacturers include Bosch (Germany) and Continental AG (Germany). Many software providers, including Starcom Systems (UK), KPIT (India), and e-Novia (Italy), work with platform providers like IBM (US) and Amazon AWS (US) and network providers like Vodafone (UK) and Verizon (US) to develop product and service offerings for the connected motorcycle ecosystem. They have initiated partnerships to develop their connected motorcycle technology and provide finished products to their respective customers for the connected motorcycle market.

How to Make Smart Financial Decisions When Buying a Car
Tumblr media
There is nothing compared to the feeling you get when you drive your new car back home, from the showroom. It gives you a sense of accomplishment.
This does not just bring you joy but also a sense of responsibility with it; responsibility to keep it well maintained and away from all kinds of damages just like a newborn. However, this responsibility magnifies when you have purchased the car with a loan.
The future is surely uncertain. To safeguard oneself from future mishaps is only rational. Financial strain in unfortunate situations can be avoided by getting insurance. There are all kinds of insurance available - life insurance, health insurance, property insurance, to name a few.
There is auto insurance for cars, motorcycles, and other road vehicles. As per the Motor Vehicles Act, it is mandated in India for cars to get vehicle insurance.
What is Car Insurance?
If you are a car owner you must be familiar with the importance of getting your car insured. It’s a contractual agreement between you and the insurance company that protects you from financial loss in unprecedented events like accidents, theft, etc.
Some policies even compensate for the damages caused due to natural calamities like floods, earthquakes, to your car. It even covers third-party liability where you have to pay damages to another vehicle owner.
Needs cum Benefits of Car Insurance
Tumblr media
1. Coverage For The Accident: Car insurance covers the bills of vehicle repairs for the damages caused due to the accident.
2. Coverage for Natural Calamities: damages occurring due to natural calamities like floods and earthquakes are also compensated (subject to the policy norms)
3. Coverage for Legal Expenses: Legal fees and expenses in respect of claims for personal injury or death as a direct result of a car accident are covered by the policy.
4. Other Than Accident Coverage:  Car insurance also covers for the damages caused to the car, other than accidents like theft, fire, snow, etc.
5. Third-party Liabilities: It even covers third-party liabilities where you have to pay for the damages to another vehicle owner.
6. Windscreen Coverage: If your car windows and windscreen are accidentally damaged, then the cost of repairing or replacing these as well as the cost of repairing the resultant scratching of the bodywork, are also covered by the insurance company.
7. Traveling Abroad: it also covers the minimum insurance required while driving the insured vehicle in any member country of the EU or a country set out by the European Union Commission, provided your intention to travel is informed to the insurer.
Conclusion
We frequently question the necessity of having an insurance policy, whether it is life insurance, health insurance, or even car insurance, but with an increasing number of wheels on the road each year, it is essential that your vehicle is protected.
However, one must do proper research as well as read the terms and conditions mentioned in the policy before choosing and investing in an insurance policy to ensure proper utilization of money.
