i think it is so telling about the current state of the motogp grid that this week jorge martin straight up was like well i wish i was racing back in 2015 so i could see my actual level. like yeah some of that is nostaligia glasses but i think he knows that hes not living in a very competitive era of motogp and the only real competition he has are the people on the same bike as him, which is NOT how great motorsport should operate. and marc is the only guy still racing who was competitive then and could measure up to the other aliens (and often WIN !!!) so marc is the benchmark now for anyone on the ducatis wanting to prove that they can do it. which is part of why people A. shit their pants and die when they see MARQUEZ +0.1 on their pitboard and B. why some of them (the champions or prospective champions, usually) still want to try it on with him

It might just be me but I’m TIRED of the journalism that revolves around the choice of Ducati. There is a fucking season going on and yet it seems that everyone is already projected towards the next one. And the journalism on the current season revolves around Ducati. If I gave less fucks about Ducati and anyone involved with them I’d be dead. It's not enough that we have to put up with Ducati's monopoly on race results, we also have to suffer it outside of them. KTM is in shambles, Yamaha turned Quartararo in a test rider, Honda is buried in shit and you’re telling me that the most interesting thing to ask is the differences between the GP23 and the GP24? Which have been said a thousand times already. And that don’t even matter because even a one-year-old Ducati is ahead of all the other manufacturers. Or if Pecco and Marc will follow each other on instagram? Who fucking cares omg😭 The whole Ducati situation is boring. And that’s all I had to say.

Haha yes. Sweet baby faced smile juxtaposed upon the tank like body. Kinda emblematic of how he's always punched above his station in life but you can see that he's always been too young. And that he's had to grow up and take the responsibilities and the life of a man while still very much being childish.

I have a lot of affection for people that are made to grow up fast because while they are always serious you still can kind of see childish innocence to them at times that couldn't fully be purged despite circumstances and it kinda warms me. Which again, reminds me of Marc :)

im making a discord for f1 and other motorsports fans, including things like indy and motogp, for some fun over the breaks.

it is mainly an idea due to people saying about running f1 23 games as something to do

i also will be hosting for race weekends (mainly f1 but also motogp if there are other people interested in it)
