And my apologies to Stephanie @steph-luvs-klaine for delayed answer. I was kinda stuck and exhausted yesterday. So these are my answers

3.Last movie: I m from India so Tamil is my mother tongue/native language.
I watched a crack movie called "thillukku thooddu returns"(meaning money for guts" ) DO this is 3rd movie of the franchise and honestly I didn't laugh much. Many cringey jokes.
If you want an English movie, it's Red,White and Royal Blue. It's perfect.
4.Currently watching:
Will it be wrong if I say nothing? I need motivation to watch. And more queerness😅
5.Other stuffs I watched: I don't watch much.

I mean the vocals and story telling are just chef's kiss
This one from my native language takes me to heaven
My as of now favourite taytay songs
8.Currently working on: Hmmm...I had my ENT ward leaving exam yesterday. I have to start working on my study habits, weight reducing, relieving back pain and especially mental health. And habit of writing Klaine fics. Completing wips.
9.Currently reading: Bunch of Klaine fics according to my mood. I need to start reading real books other than my medical books.

I am going to romanticise myself instead of other people for a change. A new years gift to myself.
When I am sad, I like talking to people who distract me from it and if not, then I listen to Tamil Kuthu songs and dance and sing loudly.
I mark my favourite parts in a book and if I gift you my copies of books, know that you mean a lot to me and I am giving you a part of my heart. I don't like abstract stuff like Murakami. My favourite book remains A Little Life, even when people think it's trauma porn. I love Khaled Hosseini and Patrick Ness for how much their books make me cry.
I cry a lot. And sometimes, I listen to sad songs to intensify my crying. I love movies that make me blink back tears. Stand up comedy motivates me.
I am intense, not half-hearted. I love with my all. I can go without eating for 2 weeks for you, travel 18h to meet you for 2h or travel to make you happy when I am sick. I will randomly buy things for you if I think you will like it even if it costs 600 rupees for 3 roses. But I will also remember if you are close to me and didn't put a story for my birthday. If you forget my birthday, i will myself come and remind you.
My retail therapy is adding things to cart, clicking on checkout but not paying for it. I will go to any bookstore near me, sit there for hours and keep buying books even if I have a stash of unread ones at home.
I am wildly political. I care about everything. I dont want people to have to earn for a sense of self worth or even just to live. Nobody should be forced to work for food, shelter and dignity.
As a friend, I am ferociously protective. I will take care of you till the point I am exhausted entirely. I will not let you kiss strangers when you are drunk. I will make sure people who don't deserve you are scared to disappoint or hurt you because you deserve the absolute best. I will apologize and accept apologies in the blink of an eye.
I will give you pages long handwritten letters. I will Google questions just to keep the conversation going. I will make playlists for you. I will text you long paragraphs and 15-20 messages at a time. If you are close to me, I will also "drunk text" you when I am sleep deprived. I will travel to the places i have been to multiple times if I get to spend more time with you.
Maybe, just maybe, I am not that bad.?

im apologizing in advance for this confusing rant that could have inaccuracies, sorry…
I LOVE the women in ponniyin selvan
because they’re so well written. I’ve watched too many Kollywood movies where the women in the movie have no point. They’re just there for a dance or barely have any character. And if they do they aren’t even strong characters and it annoyed me SO much. And then we have this movie, with complicated and intelligent women characters. Obviously it’s because the book was well written and i’m glad they portrayed that in the movie. I haven’t personally read the books (everything i know from it is from what i’ve heard my parents talk about and what i’ve heard about it) so i’m only talking about what i see in the movie and heard about.
Nandini is the best most complex character. She’s out there tricking everyone, with complicated motivation. She is amazing at politics. She’s the villain, she’s the main person, she’s extremely intelligent. She is amazing and Aishwariya Rai is SO good at acting as her.
Kundavai is a political queen. Knows how to manipulate others and do what she needs to do. Like literally a political genius. She knows what’s she’s doing and she’s incredibly intelligent.
Poonguzhali can handle a boat all by herself is choppy dangerous waters. So strong and amazing. And she’s sassy and smart and i think my mom said something about her being more powerful/ having a bigger role then the movie showed.
i just love them all!!! and hopefully tamil movies can learn from this and instead of making bad movie start to do better, because i LOVE tamil movies. but the nerd in me needs them to be good.

Desi!Annabeth
HUGE thanks to @stanning-reyna for motivating me to write this
shout out to @ethannku and @sapphicbeautyy for the inspiration
Notes: 1. This is probably gonna be hella canon divergent bcoz a) Rick can’t keep it canon himself b) It’s been a while since I read the books 2. A lot of the words I’ve used may have spelling errors due to me being dumb and also they may not be the words you usually see on desi posts coz I’m South Indian-
now. let’s get it.
- First and foremost, Annabeth changing her name. Her birth-name used to be ‘Ananya’ but she got sick of people always mispronouncing it or misspelling it so she decides to take on a white name
- Since Fredrick’s race is never mentioned as far as I can recall let’s say his mother is brown/Indian. Let’s take it a step further and say she was South Indian. Annabeth and Fredrick trying to bond over movies which is canon but make it Indian movies. Annabeth pointing out all the misogynistic details while Fredrick just sighs and rolls with it
- Dancer!Annabeth who tried learning bharathanatyam (haha spelling who ;-;) but cannot for the life of her sit in aramandi for too long. Then she discovers kathak.
- Indians are expected to be able to eat spicy food but somehow, this skips Annabeth (self-projecting LMAO) (i can still eat more than white ppl so stfu mom) and Percy teasing her for it
- ANNABETH AND PERCY FIGHTING OVER THE BEST INDIAN FOOD (spoiler alert: its pani puri)
- Little Annabeth drowning herself in Indian mythology and culture. Who spends time trying to learn languages. Annabeth who was learning Tamil and Hindi but had to stop bcoz she had to run away
- Annabeth with thick beautiful lashes and eyebrows, and hairy as fuck arms bcoz INDIAN features.
- Annabeth in desi clothing. Her wearing chudidhars and dupatas and lehengas and half sarees and pattu pavadais.
- Annabeth wearing bhindis/bottus. ANNABETH IN KHAJAL SOMEONE DRAW IT. Annabeth with a mukkuthi. ANNABETH WITH A MUKKUTHI AGENDA.
- Annabeth who does her own mehendi and teaches the Aphrodite kids to do it to
- Annabeth who is Hindu. Who’s favourite story is the Ramayan. Annabeth who loves loves LOVES Seetha/Sita
- Annabeth who drowns herself in Indian history to learn more about her culture.
- Annabeth who celebrates deepavali and navarathri and krishnajayanthi kuseryghfuyreghtuyrhtg
- Annabeth being obsessed with mangoes-
That’s all I have rn but I swear, I will come back for more.

Island Of A Thousand Mirrors
Nayomi Munaweera was born in Sri Lanka in 1973 as ethnic tensions on the island nation were rising. Island of a Thousand Mirrors (2012) is her first novel and a work of fiction built upon real events leading up to and during the Sri Lankan Civil War that lasted from 1983 to 2009. The story explores cyclical ethnic tension and the impacts of civil war from the perspectives of two female narrators, one from the island’s Sinhala majority population and one from the minority Tamil population. The novel was nominated for several international literary awards and won the Commonwealth Regional Prize for Asia (2013).
What is Archetype in literature ?
In literature, an archetype is a character, situation, emotion, symbol, or event that is recurrent throughout different stories from many cultures.
The impacts of archetype in the story?
in Nayomi Munaweera's book Island of a Thousand Mirrors. Archetypes contribute to the story's increased accessibility and intrigue by giving each character a set of recognized and distinctive traits. Similar like the novel's protagonist, Yasodhara, the characters utilized in the story each have unique traits. Additionally, there are two families: a Tamil family and a Sinhala family. The conflicts between the Tamil and Sinhala families and the various problems that their family faces and learns from make the novel much more engaging and enjoyable to read. Both of them could feel the beginnings of the war. The work is greatly enhanced by the use of archetypes by having characters with a variety of motivations.
(5) Literary archetype used in the novel?
1. Hero-(Yasodhara). the main character of the book Island of a Thousand Mirrors. through a spectrum of challenges where she learns to be brave and to fight .
2. Innocent- (Lanka). a persona who exemplifies good attitude and intentions. who are on her sister Yasodhara's side when she is afraid.
3. Lover-(Shiva). The protagonist of the book was motivated by intense feeling and heartfelt desire. And in this place, love for Yasodhara has grown deeper. Sam was the name of the daughter of Shiva and Yasodhara.
4. Caregiver- (Saraswathi).is a female soldier who developed stronger and braver throughout the battle, overcoming numerous challenges to establish herself as a fearsome and devoted soldier.
5. Ruler- (Nishan and Visaka). Nishan was raised by a very conservative mother who always encouraged him to get an engineering degree and a fisherman father who taught him everything he knew about the ocean. It was an arranged marriage that brought them together, but they were able to forge a life together. Visaka grew up in Colombo with a wealthy father and a large family.

Offset printing in Sivakasi
Sivakasi is a town in Tamil Nadu, India, known for its printing and packaging industry. Offset printing is a popular printing method used in Sivakasi. Offset printing is a traditional and widely used printing technique known for its high quality and efficiency. In offset printing, the image to be printed is first transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket. This is done using a process where the image is etched onto a metal plate, usually made of aluminum. The rubber blanket then transfers the inked image onto the printing surface (usually paper). The term "offset" refers to this indirect transfer process—ink is first applied to the plate and then to the blanket before reaching the paper.
Offset printing produces sharp, clean images and consistent color reproduction, making it ideal for high-quality publications like books, magazines, and brochures. How to master the art of learning Tamil language ?
Tamil, one of the world's oldest languages, boasts a rich literary heritage and vibrant culture. But for those eager to learn, it can seem daunting. Fear not! With dedication and the right approach, you can conquer Tamil and unlock its treasures. Here's your roadmap to mastering this beautiful language:
1. Start with the Basics: Alphabet and Pronunciation
Tamil's unique alphabet, with its 18 consonants and 12 vowels, forms the foundation. Dedicate time to mastering the letters and their sounds. Use flashcards, online resources, or children's books with illustrations to solidify your understanding. Practice pronunciation by mimicking audio recordings of native speakers.
2. Build Your Vocabulary: Everyday Words and Phrases
Focus on learning high-frequency words and phrases for greetings, introductions, and everyday interactions. Create flashcards or digital decks with pictures and corresponding Tamil words. Immerse yourself in the language by labeling objects around your house with Tamil words.
3. Embrace Grammar: Unlock the Structure
While Tamil grammar has its complexities, a basic understanding is essential for clear communication. Enroll in a beginner's course or use a textbook that breaks down grammar concepts in manageable steps. Focus on verb conjugations, sentence structure, and common grammatical rules.
4. Dive into Engaging Content: Make Learning Fun
Learning shouldn't feel like a chore! Surround yourself with Tamil content you enjoy. Watch Tamil movies with subtitles, listen to Tamil music, or explore Tamil podcasts. Children's books with stories and illustrations are a delightful way to pick up vocabulary in context.
5. Find a Language Partner: Practice Makes Perfect
The key to mastering spoken Tamil is consistent practice. Look for a language exchange partner online or in your community. Conversation exchange apps or websites like Hindustani Tongue can connect you with native Tamil speakers eager to learn your language. Don't be afraid to make mistakes – embrace them as opportunities to learn and improve.
6. Celebrate Your Progress: Stay Motivated
Learning a language is a marathon, not a sprint. Acknowledge your milestones, big and small. Celebrate completing a learning module, mastering a new verb conjugation, or holding a successful conversation. Reward yourself for your dedication, and stay motivated on your Tamil-learning journey.
Conclusion
Mastering Tamil takes time, effort, and a dash of passion. Embrace the challenges, celebrate the victories, and most importantly, have fun along the way! With consistent practice and the right resources, you'll be well on your way to unlocking the beauty and depth of the Tamil language.
