Me, staring in horror as I watch the tiktok fantasy influencer’s 1,000 dollar armor accumulate a concerning amount of rust
#i sit there like#should I. dm them. or.#and here’s the thing if there’s splotches of rust all over what’s VISIBLE then the rust under where the leather is riveted to the armor#is probably heinous#if you’re going to spend upwards of 800-a thousand on custom fitting armor#you need to be able to put aside 50 of that for some scotch brite fine grits and a cleaner and preservative of your choice#and I see people say stuff like ‘if your armor is shiny and perfect it’s never seen battle 💪’#motherfucker your armor won’t survive battle if it’s weakened by rust
