Another day, Another suitor coming in attempts to win Jasmine’s hand in marriage. It was of course, an ordinary day for the sultans advisor as he watched prince after prince enter the palace court yard; each in attempts to win over the heart of Princess Jasmine. However, all attempts were in vein as far as Jafar was concerned, everyone of these princes were just simple holes in his own sinister designs. For he, himself would be the one to take Jasmine’s hand in marriage as far as he was concerned. Though their marriage would be one built on the foundations of love but one for land and power it was all part of the sorcerers grand scheme.
"Ah yes, right this way" Jafar nodded as he parted purple silk curtains, allowing a no named prince to enter the court yard of the palace and make his attempts to woo the princess. He turned his head and the royal and scoffed under his breath. Just like the others, so young, so confident that he would take the beautiful princesses hand. Of course Jafar wouldn’t allow that. No, had he let this one win over the princesses heart his plan would be foiled and he would have to take over the kingdom by other means but of course he wouldn’t let that happen, not today.
Jafar closed the curtains and leaned his back against the cold stone walls and leaned an ear in to listen on the two. The prince of course was just like the others, ready to jump at the idea of marrying a princess to merge the two lands and obtain all of the family riches for his own. Of course the princess wasn’t bitting his smooth talking offers. Their meeting was brief, as they usually were, and was cut short by Jasmine’s smooth sarcastic tongue. A smirk graced the visors lips but was cut short but the sound of stomping feet. Quickly Jafar straightened himself up, folding his arms over each other and standing tall, as if he hadn’t heard a thing said between the two,
the prince rushed out of the court yard and quickly exited the castle before yelling back with sharp tongue “Good luck marrying off that one”.
Jafar parted the curtains and set foot outside into the beautiful court yard where princess Jasmine remained gazing out into her garden. Of course had it not been for Jafar’s grand scheme he wouldn’t have even bothered to come out here but of course playing innocent was a task that needed to be done.
"Another man not suited for your delicate hand?” he called out to her with slight slither in his voice. His expression remained calm and very blank as he stood tall before the princess. His hand fiddled with the top of his brass cobra scepter whose eyes remained glued to Jasmine.
She paid no attention to him, of course this was usual as well. She didn’t really care much for anyone other than her father and of course herself as well but she did acknowledge his existence with the turn of her head.
Jafar stepped closer to her, forcing her gaze on him. She needed to be looking at his scepter in the eyes for his plan to fall into place. Making his way around the princess before she finally caught a glimpse of the serpents eyes. Her hues locked on to the ruby eyes as he began to whisper a hushed tone to her
"Perhaps, your father is sending the wrong men. Perhaps, someone more- trusted” He hissed as her eyes began to swirl around the serpents gaze, she was falling under his spell. The wheels were spinning on this plan in motion. Jasmine nodded back allowing Jafar to know that she understood what he was saying.
"Excellent, now go tell daddy exactly what we’ve discussed.” he retorted with a laugh as Jasmines lifeless body carried itself out of the court yard and into her fathers chambers.
