oh, he knows plenty about psychological murders, though those weren't necessarily mysteries. his stepfather was a very smart man, knew how to get away with killing. he even went so far as framing his uncle for the crimes he'd committed---and he did it so well that Uncle Alden had remained imprisoned until after Jeffrey was dead. they had no idea he was framed, until evidence appeared after Oliver had killed his stepfather. he'd found the evidence, he'd been able to get his uncle released, but unfortunately, the psychological trauma sent him into a downward spiral. he spent five years in a mental hospital until he was finally released very recently. he doesn't tell her any of this though; he doesn't want to scare her away. he snorts at the comment. "well, that's a little different. i'm sure there are things George was familiar with. it's about personality, about the characters you describe. everyone is based off of someone, whether intentional or not. that's what i mean, not necessarily the story itself." perhaps that says a lot more. his eyes dart towards the road. thankfully, this area isn't that busy, either. he's grateful. "good. let's hope there's no emergencies while we're there."

His words make sense, certainly, but she hoped he didn't know about psychological murders first hand. Indeed, she would have been rather more reluctant to give him a lift if that was the case! A growing smile tugged upwards as her eyes darted back towards him, as she continued to contemplate his comment about writers writing what they know.
"I wonder where George R. R. Martin found the dragons he knows so much about," she teased, as she reversed out of the parking space. "Wow, that's really impressive," she regarded him with a smile for a brief moment, before she returned her attention to the road.
"At this time, it shouldn't be too busy," she assured him. "Probably only emergencies and urgent care."
