dabis fire is written so shitty. it always misses, it doesnt burn the surrounding environment, it doesnt kill. i know why fire is written that way in most shows, realistic approach is too destructive but there was such an easy solution to this: make dabis fighting style more physical. give him a knife. hes already too overpowered to make fight normal, so just lean on his quirk harming his body making him use it sparingly in a fight. make him resourceful make him fast. i know hes got his Suicidal, I Dont Give A Fuck If I Live Or Die themes but that can be maintained pretty easily by making him overuse it in one scene and wave off his allies worries about him smoking. you could reinforce it with scenes that involve major destruction but not necessarily a battle. would be more impactful when he goes off unrestrained against his family too. and we could take him seriously as the viewers
