I love the idea of Dust and Nightmare being bookworms together - but entirely different species.

Like, Nightmare enjoys classic literature and regency romance. Every time Victor Hugo goes on a tangent he smirks because he knows how many readers were frustrated. He revels in the twisted machinations of Wuthering Heights. He secretly adores Jane Austen and has a crush on Mr. Darcy.

Then we have Dust, who only reads science fiction and fantasy. He has read the Silmarillion many times, but in that time period he has also read The Dresden Files and any cheap sci fi thriller he can get his hands on. He doesn’t care about characterization or themes - he just wants to be distracted.

They’ve recommended books to each other in the past. Neither of them could make it through the other’s recommendation. Still, in between missions you can sometimes find them on opposite sides of the library, reading together in peace.
