T-shirt upcycle: I bought the Pinned & Preserved shirt from @morningwitchy in an extra large size. After taking it in, I used the leftover fabric to make some extra insects! I put the butterflies, beetles, and cicadas together on my sewing machine, then stitched them onto the shirt by hand.

I want to stress that you can't do everything. This post isn't here to judge anyone who needs new clothes but can't afford an ethical brand. I once had my apartment flood (basement unit!) where the ceiling fell in the bedroom and had to replace everything! Clothing that fit me is hard to find and I think I bought everything from Walmart. This is just for some suggestions and to advertise these other brands.

🌻Sunflower 🌻

It's a very good flower. The seasonal depression is kicking my ass but we take small victories where we can get them. Is an unusually warm Michigan winter scary? A little. But I get to wear this cute little fit. Small victories.

Maya Kern skirts continue to be a wardrobe staple time and time again. The deep pockets on these bad boys make carrying a purse unnecessary but I make an exception for my favorite sunflower purse made by Morning Witch.

It's never too late for Halloween!!

I have achieved my final form, with a little help from @morningwitchy's beautiful Nocturne sweater. I'm hoping to get back out again and take pics with my new Emerald Dream culottes tomorrow before winter fully arrives! Tools used: -I carved my own two-sided pumpkin, with both sitting and standing modes (more pictures to come) -I used CSP to blot out my face

Oh my god it's SO beautiful in person. I can't stop smiling. I swear I'm going to be leaving my house more just so I can wear it.

Mine just came in and I LOOOOVE it!! Even right out of the bag, it's soft. I gave it a try while just wearing a tank top, and it's lovely~ I have fibromyalgia, and even the seams are nice and soft and not setting off my nerve pain or sensory issues. 💖

My first cotton twill jacket is now live - presenting, the fungi forest design! ✨

ive been wearing my sample jacket for a few months now and its so sturdy and great for every day wear, plus it softens so nicely with wear and wash! 💖 shop!
