Mori’s Age Chart

as a kid, Mori was a sweet and slightly spoiled girl that came from a wealthy family. she went to a highly accredited academy and given everything she needed to grow up to succeed her mother's footsteps as CEO. however, with Mori growing up came a lot of arguments about who she is and what she wants to be. combined with a diagnosis of ADHD, her parents constantly fighting, and surviving a car accident that claimed her father right as she turned 16, Mori succumbed to the wills of her demanding mother to try to be the perfect daughter for her. when that failed, she ran away from home, skipping her high school graduation and deferring her first year of college. after returning, Mori's mother forced her to go to the same university her mother attended or otherwise work for the company, with stipulations that she had to become an engineer otherwise she would be disowned.

Mori eventually goes to university in something adjacent to what her mother wants, but her father's death and her hesitation to grow up left her broken and feeling alone, leaving her to wonder if anything else was out there other than being a tool of her family business.

KNY - Not canon Hashiras Backstories

Hi! I recently posted this, where I showed you more Hashira OCs for my story, I already said I don't really want them in all my AUs but I'll give them some space because I like them anyway. So here we go with their backstories.

⏳️ Obara Kazehara - Sand Hashira (14 y.o.)

Obara Kazehara was born in a village of artisans renowned for its ceramics, where she demonstrated a natural talent for molding clay from an early age. One night, the village was devastated by a demon attack, and Obara survived by hiding among the crafting materials. When the demon discovered her, she was saved by Mitsuri Kanroji, who was impressed by her courage and brought her to the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. There, she was trained by Fujiko Mori in Sand Breathing.

⚗️ Sora Aoyama - Venom Hashira (14 y.o.)

Sora was born in a woodcutters’ village, where his family lived in poverty. His father, violent and unscrupulous, treated him with cruelty, while his mother, dissatisfied with her life, merely endured without reacting. Sora’s situation seemed hopeless until one day, Fujiko Mori, visiting the village, noticed the boy and, realizing his condition, decided to intervene. With an act of generosity and determination, Fujiko paid his father to "buy" his freedom, offering a sum of money the man couldn’t refuse. After taking Sora under her protective wing, Fujiko entrusted him to Harriet Spencer, convinced that only another Hashira could help him overcome his fears and unlock his potential.

🌋 Enkai Ikeda - Magma Hashira (20 y.o.)

Enkai Ikeda was born from an act of violence and abandoned by his mother at the Butterfly Mansion, but he never blamed her. He was noticed for his physical strength and unnaturally calm demeanor. Shinjuro Rengoku, seeing his potential, took him on as a disciple instead of Kyojuro, whom he considered talentless. Enkai harbored no resentment toward Kyojuro and, despite his strength, was unable to master Flame Breathing, eventually learning Magma Breathing, which better suited his combat style.

⚱️ Kuro Hanazumi - Cinder Hashira (22 y.o.)

Kuro was a chemist driven by an obsession to cure death after losing everyone he loved to it. Despite his tireless efforts, he found that nothing could halt the inevitable. He became the Cinder Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps, but never gave up his research, hoping one day to overcome death. His relentless pursuit raised concern in Enmu, who believed Kuro's obsession was dangerous. Enmu feared that Kuro’s desperation could lead him down a dark and uncontrollable path. Still, Kuro remains unshaken, convinced that his work is worth the risk, no matter the cost.

🎐 Isana Kurosawa- Breeze Hashira (22 y.o.)

Isana Kurosawa, hailing from a wealthy family, was a brilliant chemist renowned for her rational mind and calculating demeanor. During her university years, she collaborated with Kuro Hanazumi but always found him unsettling, distrusting his ambitions to cure death, which she deemed dangerous and misguided. Fascinated by chemistry, Isana specialized in it's applications in battle, studying how to transform elements into both weapons and antidotes. When the Demon Slayer Corps sought the assistance of chemists, she joined to apply her knowledge to the battle. Now, as the Breeze Hashira, she works alongside Kuro but continues to view him with suspicion, convinced that his ideas pose a threat.

💨 Reika Yamigawa - Steam Hashira (19 y.o.)

Reika Yamigawa endured a traumatic upbringing marked by severe abuse from her family. The relentless mistreatment led to the development of schizophrenia, culminating in a tragic incident where she killed her entire family. Faced with the death penalty, Reika was offered an alternative: join the Demon Slayer Corps. Opting for this path, she trained rigorously and mastered the Steam Breathing technique, earning the title of Steam Hashira. In addition to her combat skills, Reika possesses a natural aptitude for mechanics and artillery, contributing her expertise to the Corps' technological advancements. Despite her turbulent past and mental health challenges, she remains a dedicated member of the Demon Slayer Corps, channeling her skills and experiences into the fight against demons.

💫Seijiro Atushi - Star Hashira (24 y.o.)

Born into a family of esteemed astronomers, Seijiro Atushi spent his childhood immersed in the study of the stars. At 18, during a night of stargazing, his village was attacked by demons, prompting him to join the Demon Slayer Corps. Trained in the Breath of Stars technique, Seijiro employs celestial-inspired movements in combat, merging his astronomical knowledge with swordsmanship to defend humanity against demonic threats. His contemplative nature and deep cosmic connection make him a vital member of the Corps, guiding his peers through the darkest of times.

🕷 Tomoe Tsumugi - Spider Hashira (25 y.o.)

Tomoe Tsumugi, a highly skilled seamstress, worked for a noble family that mistreated her for the smallest mistakes, despite her talent. Every day, her hard work was met with insults and violence, leaving scars not only on her body but also on her soul. After enduring the abuse for far too long, she decided to run away, seeking a new purpose for her life. She found refuge in the Demon Slayers headquarters, where she began sewing uniforms for the demon hunters. Her work was appreciated, but the true turning point came when she met Kanae Kocho, the Flower Hashira, whose spirit and determination deeply inspired her. She decided to join the Corps and, with her talent and inner strength, became the Spider Hashira, ready to fight against the demons and protect those who were once vulnerable and defenseless, just like she had been.

Background- Kuro is the son of a rich businessman and was raised very prestigious. His father had a lot of aflation with the Port Mafia, he knew both the old mafia boss and Mori, so Kuro grew up around the Mafia. Kuro is familiar with Dazai, Chuuya, Kouyou, Hitoshi, and Mori from being forced to attend meetings with his father when he was younger. All though his parents never got along, Kuro favored his mother more then his father. His parents marriage was forced for political reasons. Kuro has watched as a child as the two fought and beat both him and his mother, leading to his hatred for his father. His father also used to allow his bisnuss partners to have their way with Kuro, for more money. This lead Kuro to trying too find a solace out of his horrible situation, so he bought a fake ID and drank his problems away at bars.

omg omg someone asked about them omg uhm i guess i'll use this ask as a means to write summaries about the ones i have so far! :D (i plan on making one for each album! :3)

these "summaries" are gonna be yap seshes so sorry anon or anyone else reading this

here's your warning for death, suicide, self harm, psychosis(?), and a LOT LOT more of the sort. just... pretty heavy and dark topics in general. mother mother songs aren't very happy usually.

(every character doesn't have a very fleshed out childhood, just more vague ideas of why they are who they are today, because i mostly solely focus on the stories the albums present)

Thomas 'Tommy' Urena - Touch Up OC! 25 years old. He/him. Thomas is a British germaphobe who lived in the countryside to get away from his "dirty town". Eventually, he realized he need a change in scenery. So! Thomas decided to buy a one person boat and go sailing with no exact destination in mind, even though he had no prior sailing experience. He gets caught in a storm and almost dies because of it. The trauma sticks with him while he continues sailing on, giving him depression and and self harming with the axe he has with him. This is where we meet the supporting character of this story, a hallucination of a (guardian) angel named Ana. Ana cannot be harmed as she isn't real, but Ana serves as a motivation for Thomas not to kill himself. Thomas eventually gets to land somewhere and a guy finds him wandering around. The guy picks him up in his truck and talks to him a little bit before bringing him to a hotel in the small rural town he lives in and Thomas washed up on. Well! He's at that change of scenery he so desperately wanted, so he decides to do some self evaluation and find love and truth. He goes back to the hotel empty handed without either love or truth be he realizes that he has a new passion; dancing. Over time, he buys a dress and grows out his hair and gets good at makeup and Tommy (as he calls himself when performing, because it rolls of the tongue easier) basically does drag on the street (WHICH PAID VERY WELL, HE GOT A HOUSE OF HIS NOT LONG AFTER). Despite being a straight and cis man and being called homophobic and transphobic slurs almost every day, he's living his best life! But, the toxic masculinity seeps back into his brain and he sobs while looking at himself in the mirror, he feels nostalgic thinking about his childhood sure, but it still was kinda shit. Nevertheless! He ends up getting a girlfriend and still, as always, gets rumours made up about him around town. He ends getting married to his girlfriend because of her being pregnant, so they prepare for the baby. Tommy cuts his hair and changes his outfit style back to how it was before as to be a more masculine father figure so they wouldn't get bullied. Tommy's wife dies during childbirth, which causes Tommy to delve (deeper) into depression, not even being able to care for himself, he wasn't able to care for his child too, causing it to die too, not making it any better for him. Tommy's childhood was essentially always acting like a "boy" and getting forced down his throat toxic masculinity.

Olivia Mallory Harper - O My Heart OC! 18 years old. She/her. Olivia is an Ukrainian-American girl who got broke up with by her now ex partner, leaving a hole in her heart and in her life. She tries dating apps and whatnot to get a new person to love her and for her to love back, it doesn't work. She turns to committing crimes -- yes, one of the crimes includes arson-- and drug abuse to fill the hole in her life. It still doesn't help, all it does is cause guilt within herself and realize that everyone is human. She wants to change, she tries to change, but of course, like she's been doing, she fails to do that. The motivation to change just isn't there for her, despite her wanting wisdom to help her change too. She gives up because what fun is there in failing to change!!! She instead has gruesome thoughts about wanting to be dismembered and pulled apart limb from limb because why not?! What's the point of living anymore?! Alongside those thoughts, she has fantasies of being a ghost, basically- without anyone in her life to truly love her, Olivia isn't very excited about the idea of living. And right when you think all hope for her is lost, she gets a partner! Now, I want to say, her partner is either a boy or girl no inbetween, I just leave it up to interpretation by saying "they/them" but really they're either a she/her or he/him, OKAY BACK TO THE STORY! "Taylor" (Olivia's partner) and Olivia have sex in her father's hayloft and despite Olivia's warnings of hearing her dad or if her dad walks in on them, Taylor is shot by Olivia's dad, who shows no remorse because he's only doing "what's best for his girl". Olivia falls into anger for her father, becoing destructive to external things again such as punching holes in the wall and whatnot. She steals her dad's gun, sits in the hayloft next to Taylor's dead body, and takes her own life. They meet again as ghosts before both being revived by an unknown source for an unknown reason. They take Olivia's dad's gun again and kill him with it and hide the body in a river. No one ever finds out but it does cause Olivia paranoia to the point she almost always has the gun on her. Olivia's childhood was essentially she was born in Ukraine to an Ukrainian speaking mother and Ukrainian/English speaking father. When Olivia was 4-6 years old (meaning she had a lot of time to take in the languages her parents spoke), her mom left her and her dad and her dad took her back to his home in the states. She holds resentment for both parents.

Elias/Eli - Eureka OC! 22 years old. He/it. Elias is a very paranoid American boy with a fear for change to the point where he warns people their lives may change without them allowing it to because the universe doesn't care about any of them. His fear of change even seeps into his girlfriend's nickname she uses, Abigail, or, Abby as most people refer to her as. Abby is in the psych field and decides to give Elias a little therapy session (although not a professional one as she calls him a handful), and which Elias talks about karma and death coming for everyone, the only thing that can comfort him is the concept of space itself. Elias and Abby end up going to a party together and after a while of trying to convince her (and a few drinks) Abby finally dances with Elias which give him momentary bliss and think of space, causing him to temporarily forget his paranoia. He's happy for those few moments that they dance. When Elias gets home, he thinks about the only other thing that brings him comfort, the past, even though his past wasn't all that great, he was used to it, and the comfort of that familiarity was enough to outweigh the badness of his childhood. His mental health is detioriating. Elias warns Abby that his mental health is depleting and that he may emotinally hurt her if not on purpose, his obsession with the past and familiarity grow. He sees himself a sinner and Abby a saint, he sees her as holy and perfect and himself as not. Elias isn't good at showing affection,such as showering Abby with it right before ignoring her again. He doesn't mean to this, he's trying his best to be a good boyfriend, it's just hard with his mental health. Elias continues to warn people about his mental health, especially Abby, it's a sign for help at this point. And what does Abby do? She tears him down and dumps him. What a good therapist/sar. Elias decides to leave where he was to get a fresh start and ends up admitting himself into a mental hospital because he knows that is the right thing to do. This is where I apologize about my lack of knowledge on mental hospitals guys. His assigned nurse there is Abby and neither of them are neccesarily thrilled about it, but they don't complain musch about it unless to each other, and, slowly, Elias gets better mentally. He eventually gets discharged under the notion that he is supervised by a staff member of the hospital, and that staff member is Abby. Elias has changed a lot, more looking forward to the future and what it could bring rather than the disturbing confort of the past he once had, he's changed so much so he can deal with Abby's nickname now and also has a nicnake name of his own: Eli. He's kinda happy now. And that's what's important. Elias' childhood though was essentially having an abusive father that would constantly hit him and his mom and other siblings. He was the oldest, he always tried to take it so the youngers didn't.

(i actually never fully wrote down Tobi's story ever (procrastination) so all i have are my messy notes meaning this might be real funky) Tobi Sanna - The Sticks OC! 15 years old. They/it. Tobi is an American person with many many mental issues including depression, anxiety, DPDR and just wants to get away from society and all it's troubles. Because of this desire to leave, to escape, they do. They run away to a cave in a mountain where they stay for now, of course with a gun (although that's more for security, not to actually be planned to use), lighter, and knife, they're not stupid, they need things for survival. Despite how hard it is living in the wild with paranoia and fear, Tobi finds it better than the small rural town they were living in. At least here, there was a reason for creatures to ignore them, at least here, creatures wouldn't misgender them either on purpose or by accident, at least here, they didn't have to face the daunting horror that was possible depression or anxiety, armchair diagnoses weren't fun to deal with, although professional diagnoses weren't an option either considering their parents. Tobi didn't want to be diagnosed with anything anyway though. Although, they do want antidepressants. This paranoia, this mental illnesses cause them not to be able to live their life normally. Religious trauma gets to them, depression gets to them, derealization gets to them, they finally build a hole in the forest outside of their cave to act as a grave, put the gun to their head, and the trigger is pulled. Even after death, after being promised something might happen, something good, that they'll be healed, they still have the weight of their mental illnesses. And wowie, they get revived by unknown reasons and unknown source too! They go back into society for a fresh start with them, changes their name with help of a new guardian (Tommy) and cut their hair to feel more in their skin, they feel a lot better than before now. Tobi also finally reunites with their best friend "Twig" (the supporting character in this album because i had to grasp at straws) who had also known all their problems but was powerless to do anything about it, not even being to find Tobi when they ran off. They're besties again :) Tobi's childhood was essentially being neglected a ton by their parents unless it was transphobic or homophobic rhetoric their way because their parents knew how they were since they came out.

long story short after all their stories, they all meet each other and are friends (Tommy & Olivia have a father-daughter relationship as they both have the one thing they lost within each other) and yeah! a few even live in Tommy's house (Olivia, Taylor, and Tobi)

So, Mori and Bachira met at school, and they became friends, but it seems Bachira didn't tell him about the letter from the JFU... When did they reunite, and what was their reunion like ? Was it during the break between U20 and NEL ? And is Mori allowed to hang around the Blue Lock building during the NEL ?

OMG okay, i was js talking about how i never talk about mori LMFAO (this ref im pretty sure is the most recent thing i drew for mori, so if he's not in a wheelchair, assume some lore points weren't canonised yet)

so he's actually very distant about it(Mori uses She/He pronouns but refers to herself as a girl when asked). Mori doesn't really feel joy or excitement from anything, but Bachira was able to get him to feel Something and Mori was very grateful about that.

(they meet when mori's father moves them to chiba, so around when mori was like 10, the actual age is written somewhere for sure...)

So when Yuu was like 'oh mie:( he didn't tell you?' Mori was like, shocked and appalled and kinda sent back to a numb state. ('if he didn't bother to tell me, I must not have meant much -› if I didn't mean much, I'm wasting these feelings)

She ends up skating at night often to soothe his thoughts, despite Kiyoko Hanami(OC) jumping in to try and be Mori's friend in place of Bachira (she jumps on the opportunity be it looks like Mori is experiencing real emotion -> Mori was outcasted because she was an average looking girl who lacked reactions). Mori gets hit by a car and is no longer able to skate - told that walking would be difficult in his state and she should give up any ideas of ever skating again.

Hanami(OC: Hanami Kiyoko) and Mori become closer when Hanami visits Mori and Hanami tries to talk to Mori about soccer related things. But quickly notices Mori gets aloof at any kind of mentions of Soccer or Bachira, so she tries to steer conversations more about having fun and school and dreams(now that Mori can't skate).

Mori(before the crash) was rather athletic, but she's bad at soccer. She tried very hard to play and be better for Bachira. And while it's a nice thing for a friend to do, it's nothing that would soothe the monster. Mori and Bachira both understood that.

But they pretty much clung onto each other because they both felt they were the only ones who were really able to understand each other and who gave each other a chance, which is why it destroys Mori that Bachira never said anything to him when he left. (and why Mori was reluctant to give a second chance)

Hanami is the one to propose going to the U-20 match. And Mori only goes because Hanami is very excited about it(So is Bachira's mum, but Mori makes an excuse to why she can't go when Yuu asks). Bachira notices him by his mother, doesn't notice the wheelchair. so he is confused about why Mori isn't cheering, standing up and waving his arms around like how his mother was(be mori used to be like his biggest fan or wtv). btw this is also how Mori meets Isagi's mum. Hanami is like. shocked that they managed to sit by Isagi's mum after the last goal and Mori is more just focused on the field.

She tries not to hang around Bachira's mum, but Hanami kinda like makes Mori stick around.

During the two week break, Mori does her absolute best to avoid seeing Bachira again. Mori and Isagi actually have a small bonding moment because Mori's favourite animals are lobsters, and Isagi likes them too. Bachira's a bit lost because Mori seems to be either ignoring him or not really caring about anything he brings up. also some strange bitter feelings but dont mind that shshh

Hanami is just trying to mend the weird thing going on because Mori will not without any sort of push to. So she sort of ditches Mori with Bachira so they can hopefully talk things out. And they do. Mori explains she blames his inability to skate or walk on Bachira, but that she knows it's wrong to. And Bachira is like . You can't skate?

Ever again? Ever? and is like devastated for him.

It only takes a few days for Mori to cosy back up to Bachira, because Bachira is attached to Mori and doesn't leave him alone(persistent 💔). Bachira explains he got a message to return to Blue Lock and Mori is happy for him. All he wanted was To Know, and now Bachira has Let Him Know.

Mori isn't faculty / staff in the Blue Lock facility. She's just a high school student studying to be a marine biologist. BachiMori don't really date until Mori is completely comfortable with their positions and with their understanding of each others' needs. Otherwise, Mori just appears as text messages on Bachiras or Isagi's phone.

Mori is definitely just A Girl, Chilling, Maybe Just Goofing Off. I think Ego might deem him a distraction for Bachira, so I feel like it would really just stick to phonecalls or texts, and she could get to know some NEL members via someone taking Bachi's phone and like spamming her line specifically because of the nature of bachira and mori's texts(playful, brink of relationshippy).

Elizabeth "Hanna" Kline

At just two years old her parents were murdered along with her 6 yr old brother, while her and her newborn sister were kidnapped and brought to a children's expiremeng lab where children were given abilities from dead ability users.

At 4 years in the lab, a strange man later identified as more burnt down the lab scientists and kids alike while Hanna and her sister were the only survivors. For a couple months her and her sister tried to survive. One day they encountered Mori, and Hanna remembered him instantly, so the two sisters ran and eventually got separated.

Hanna was fought by some police and sent to an orphanage after stealing from a supermarket and after only a couple days there a nice woman came and adopted her despite her husband being a rude jerk Hanna hated.

The next day Hanna discovered she had an ability but it was too late and it had gone out of control and she ate her own mother. She couldn't snap out of the joy she felt until the door opened to her father coming home with groceries.

Overwhelmed with guilt, she ran away and as old as her father was, he couldn't father up to her. She stole and murdered to get her way and eventually become known as the "blood red reaper", as she ate people to stop her ability from growing out of control...

Her ability is "no crumbs left" and gives her sharp canines to tear apart flesh, as well as superhuman strength and speed. However if she doesn't eat anyone she goes out of control and eats anyone around her with no co trol over her body. Her ability is hard to control but she eventually found out how to turn off her strength and speed but she couldn't get rid of the urge to eat.

After being caught by an unknown mafioso she was invited to join the mafia at age 10.

The next day she woke up and all she xould remember was sh was in the mafia and the terrible incident when she was 6.

Part 2: Mafia life.

At the ripe age of 16 she was promoted to executive and was feared by many. Then one day she sat at her mother's grave, when a short, blond haired boy came and offered her chocolate. Sh didn't accept however (she doesn't like sweets)

Dawn:

Dawn isn't close with a lot of people, but he does have a small circle around him.

If his real parents found out, I think they'd be upset but also surprised that he'd made it so far in life. I think they'd be proud of what he accomplished, but still upset that they didn't spend his life with him.

Dusk and his current parents? They'd be downright broken up about it. Dusk's parents took Dawn in and treated him as one of their own, and after a while, they adopted him. To them, he was their biological son and they adored him. They'd mourn him as their son, it would be rough for ages. Dusk spent decades with Dawn, he taught him a lot of what he knows and treated him as a brother and a teammate for years before they were actually brothers. Dawn spends most of his leave just taking care of Dusk's injuries and spending time with his found family. Dusk would be torn up for years at the loss, but he's the type of person to pick himself up by the bootstraps and try to just move on even if it's hurting.

He obviously has a few people in Shadow Company, but he doesn't have a lot given that he doesn't like opening up to people. I can't vouch for anyone's reactions since I don't wanna mischaracterize, but I can list the people. Some people I think would be at least a little upset would be Hydra, Graves (my own headcanons between them...), anddd.... I can't think of anyone else. Maybe 7-11 or Switchblade depending on how well they knew each other.

Jackrabbit:

All around, I think quite a few people would be distraught. He's had an amazing relationship with his mother his entire life, she probably wouldn't know what to do with herself for months to years after his death. She's never been good with grieving, so losing her son who has been her #1 his entire life would be a living nightmare for her. His father was never a great person and they only knew each other for a couple years before Jack and his mother moved away from him, so I think his father would have a very neutral reaction. Like "Oh man, that sucks." But he'd still be able to go on with life.

He was a generally popular kid in school because of his attitude, he was great at making friends and was moderately social. I think some of the people he met back then would definitely be upset to learn about his death. And obviously, his friends in Shadow Company, and his beloved, Kipu. I'm not able to vouch for their reactions since I don't wanna mischaracterize anyone. But I think some of the people he was decently close with/knew decently were LoveHurt, 7-11 (maybe), the medical department (i.e Hydra, Flatline, etc), Wraith (maybe), and so on.

Moribund:

(I like this question because I've been trying to think of a death for him....)

Family wise, Mori really only has his mother who thinks he's dead as of now. When he was kidnapped, no one could find him so he was pronounced MIA and after months and months of hoping for him to be found, his mother gave up. So there wouldn't be any reaction there, she already believes he's gone. Though she may be sad if she's told about his death knowing that she could have gotten more time with him if Mori had reached out.

And he doesn't really have friends outside of Shadow company, so I don't know about friend reactions. He was an ass through school and his army/marine days, a lot of people have only had negative views on him. So all friend reactions would be up to the creators of the SC characters who know him.

What is your absolute all-time favorite idea you’ve ever had?

This is a tough one. I think it's the storyline for Memento Mori part III. I'm really fond of Morgana's personal growth, how she allows herself to be vulnerable again, and just the overall murder mystery/conspiracy plot. As I wrote this before I'd written Parts I and II, I have made it harder for myself to link in certain plot points, and I've had to retcon a lot of things, but I'm still proud of how it all came together as a standalone story.

Is there a question you’ve been asked in the past that really stands out to you, and you still think about sometimes?

@sarahlizziewrites once asked me about my OCs idle animations if they were in a video game, and I still think about that from time to time. It really focused me on what my characters' quirks and little habits would be. It's such a good question, that I quickly stole it, and have asked it to other people!

What is your favorite part of being a writer? What parts could you take or leave?

I love having a chance to write down the little stories of the people who just wander into my head. I like to plot out their character arc, and figure out what makes them tick; what drives them, and how they would react when put in certain scenarios. I dream of the day when I write a perfect first draft, that never needs edited. Editing can get in the bin. I hate it. If I ever become a millionaire, I'm paying someone a ridiculous amount of money to edit for me.

What is your greatest motivation to write/create?

I do enjoy that little dopamine hit from someone commenting something nice on a post; but honestly, even if I got no traction, I'd still write. I've been writing without feedback for years (because nothing I wrote ever got shared anywhere or with anyone). I just write. I think it's part of who I am, and even if no one else likes it, or even reads it, I'd probably still write, regardless.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever read or been given as a writer?

Find the writing advice that works for *you*. There is loads of advice out there, but if it doesn't work for you, or feel tight, then you don't do it. Only *you* can write your story.

What do you wish you knew when you were first starting out writing?

You'll never get a scene from your head perfectly onto the page; stop trying to make everything perfect, and aim for good. The most important thing to do, is to write it down, and then you can polish it. But you can't improve unless you write it down first.

My favourite completed series (and only completed series <.<) is Memento Mori although only part I has been posted. My favourite story is Blood Covenant, and one that I'm actually proud of. The first draft wasn't too shabby (if I do say so myself) and just needs a little tweak before I'll think about posting it in full!

Which of your characters would you say has the most controversial mindset? Why do you say so, and how do you personally feel about their ideals?

Victor, from Memento Mori part II; he is a 'victory at any cost' kind of person, and is pretty ruthless when it comes to achieving his goal. Whilst I don't agree with his methods, I do admire his drive, and his ability to stick to his principles, as well as his unshakable belief that he is right about everything. That's pretty much the only positive thing I can say about him; he's the villain for a reason. He's not someone that I'd want to spend time with, or be friends with. I'd not want to have to work with him because he is so unflinching and uncompromising. He will get the job done, no matter what- he'd sell his own mother to get what he wants, and that gives me the chills. He really has no moral compass, only goals, which are, essentially, to keep himself in power.

If you, when you first started writing, met you now, what would younger you think?

I like to think younger me would be impressed with how far I've come. The fact that I have made so many awesome writblr friends, shared some of my WIPS, allowed them to be read by people for feedback & critiscism... Not to mention just how many words I have written, WIPS I've completed. Younger me would never have thought I'd have made it this far !

Backstory/More in depth -

When Hitori was born her ability was activated for the first time and she killed her doctor. The government took her away from her parents and she was isolated from people, afterwards the facility was destroyed and she escaped. Note, before they forced her to wear gloves all time so she wouldn’t escape. She found an orphanage which belongs to Kanna, who she now refers to as her meemaw (grandma). She has worn gloves her whole life at this point. As a gift Kanna decides to give her a doll that has a conscience (bc of her ability). That becomes her first real friend, Hotaru. Hitori gets adopted by Kanna’s daughter-in-law and becomes part of the family by age 12. She then interns with her older sister, she’s 19 at this time (who is also adopted, basically the entire family is adopted) Her older sister is Yui, and Hitori has an older brother, older by one year.

Currently Hitori is 13 and is being trained by Kunikida and Dazai. (Dazai is there so her ability doesn’t go out of control). Kyouka is Hitori’s best friend and has a crush on her. Ranpo is like an older brother figure to Hitori, and their dynamic is quite chaotic
