when you sent the first hateful message, i actually wrote 800+ words explaining what happened, how it happened, listed the most important points, detailed the authorities' reactions, delved into a bit of history on the production of big festivals and concerts, and much more. despite you never asking (just being judgmental and attacking me based on posts that were in my queue since before the first show even happened), i answered whether or not i am still a taylor swift fan.

you threw your bag at the sofa and dedicated your whole attention to the task of opening the white envelope. inside it there was an invitation. you held your breath and your heart started to beat furiously inside your chest - the family crest on the front of the invitation was unmistakable and you knew it too well, you'd seen it your entire life. you opened the invitation with shaky hands, but you already knew what it was, there was only one thing it could be announcing.

again, sorry i forgot about this 😩

kakashi's eyes were fixed in asuma's figure laughing with gai and iruka.

"it's his first birthday since the hokage sama passed away."

"i know... i'm sure he's glad you're here. you're a good friend."

kakashi gave you that fake smile under the mask you recognized well, because the wrinkles in his eyes were superficial.

kakashi knew what it was like to lose a father, and you were sure seeing a friend go through the same thing messed with something in him, the part that made him give himself away even more than he already did, to try and fix it, try and help ease the pain, the loneliness.

this was for a request as well, it started out as Obito but by the middle i realized it was meant for kakashi, so i changed a bunch of things. hoping to finish it soon BECAUSE ITS GOING TO BE SO CUTE
