Hello yes I'm a youtuber that likes to give lyrics to video game OSTs. Did you like my song where I literally just explained the entire plot? Or how about the one where all the characters swear and make sexual jokes despite the game being E for everyone, wasn't that hilarious?

Here's my next song, which I like to title "It doesn't matter if this female character is the main protagonist or not, she WILL be getting simultaneously sexualized and reduced to a misogynistic prop"

#ftr that last one doesn't refer to any one specific 'x with lyrics'#more like. i actually rather like the duane and brando megaman 2 medley #but if you know it then you know full well what i'm talking about #but also just kind of thinking back on brentalfloss (who i have not watched in over a decade)#a lot of his more standout ones fall in those categories like luigis mansion 2 and mm2 wily's castle #and it's not to say i don't think they shouldn't exist but #the expectation of that specific type of fanwork to be a parody kind of makes me realize that #i know barely any fansongs based on game OSTs (in western fandom) that feel like #genuine love letters to the games they're for #tl;dr i didnt make this to be particularly Scathing commentary nor is it solely direct at brental but still #i specifiy in western fandom too cause i am fully aware of the touhou phoenomenon btw #don't think theu SHOULD exist*
