The opening of episode 7 of Renegate Nell is genuinely the best thing I've seen in any series this year it's fucking ✨SPECTACUAR✨
#though coming from a fan editor maybe that's not a surprise 😅#but that wasn't just a concept I really liked it was so *perfectly* executed#more 👏 casual 👏 well-edited 👏 musical 👏 numbers 👏 in 👏 media 👏 immediately 👏 please👏 thank you#renegade nell#the script for the show as a whole feels a little under-edited#like everything isn't as tight-knit and interconnected as it could have been#which means there is more plot than moments with properly developed emotional meaning#but it's still a thoroughly enjoyable watch and I would LOVE to see how a season 2 develops these characters#because if there is anything sally wainwright can do it's create distinct and interesting characters#which is 70% of what I look for in a story anyway
