I think people forget that Jonathan Joestar is a deeply angry character. It’s a righteous anger that is constantly put through the filter of his strong moral code, but he is still incredibly angry.

jc couldve never abused jl, never. if jl showed even the littlest bit of fear towards jc, he would've lost custody a loooong time ago, jc should've never been granted custody in the first place as well. he was jl's MATERNAL uncle, he didn't have any true reason to be heavily involved w jl's life, let alone take part in raising him. plus his alleged sullied reputation that's constantly mentioned, the fact jgy called him a "mad dog" for holding onto chenqing, all the rumors of him torturing and killing etc etc. but he did, we don't really get to know how he got custody granted but he had partial, the fact jl is so much like jc also speaks to how much time they spent together, how jl says: "I'll tell my jiujiu about this!!" shows that jl trusts that jc will always protect him. so really, how could he abuse jl when jl doesn't even fear him but actively seeks out jc's protection?

do i agree with jc's way of discipline? not really lol. but this is ancient china and corporal punishment was the norm, I'm not gonna judge jc by modern-day standards on how to raise children, sorrrrrry.

there were three canonical instances of jc hitting jl, he never gave him a beatdown, but singular slaps, and for each time, jl was either putting himself in danger or did something stupid, but those instances never weighed out the many, many instances of jc coming to jl's aid, making sure jl is safe etc etc. also, jl himself said jc is all bark no bite, if jc was truly abusive towards jl, jl would never back-talk him or defy jc's words and orders, but yet we saw jl do exactly the opposite. interesting. jl doesn't run in fear away from jc, instead we saw when jl was crying on the boat and jc called out to him; jl flew to his uncle's side and jc didn't berate him for crying in such a way in public, we see him asking "who did this to you?" (mind you, that scene takes place after jc gave jl a slap for ignoring his orders).

UPDATE: needed to mention the one body slam that happened when jl was complaining to jc abt w.wx and lw.j leaving. this takes place POST ancestral hall + gc reveal, where jc was having a very public meltdown and asking ppl to unsheath suibian and was not in any sane state of mind. was he wrong to do that.... yes, he as the adult should've been able to control his emotions around a 14 year old. but I don't think this should make him abusive likeshdfehuddj

obviously you shouldnt hit children yeah yeah yeah, but like we're in a setting where corporal punishment isn't frowned upon lol like the punishments w.wx got when he was studying at cr??????? hello????? (and who gave out those lashings? l.wj but I digress). i think my only criticism is jc should've at least improved with his words, like I understand all he rly knows is the shit his mother and father told him, but ehhhhh. i like to think that he would try but jc doesn't seem like the type to heal his inner child.

maybe bc im indian and i got a good few lashes growing up, this doesn't rly phase me too much? idk, like I assume the ppl calling jc abusive are white lol. like I've heard my parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles recall worse abuse that they brush off as nothing (it rly was NOT), and it was nothing close to what jc did to jl, not in the slightest. i kinda see it more like "lemme hit u upside the head bc ur being stupid" and not "you fucking child let me show you who's boss"

•if one of them starts making a weird noise the other will start making the same noise

•bendy is too shy to give cuphead kisses when he’s awake so he does it while he’s asleep (cup is awake and is pretending to sleep but bendy doesn’t know it)

•bendy likes to caress cups scars and hear how he got them

•when cuphead decided to confess he was originally gonna wait for few days cause bendy was dealing with some magic issues and wasn’t supposed to have any big shocks or problems to not disturb his magic But while they were hanging out on the roof cuphead was just listening to bendy ramble on about something and blurred out ”stars I’m in love with you” on accident It shocked bendy so much his magic knocked him out cold for 24 hours

•if they were in the Morden area they constantly send each other cat videos saying ‘us’

•cuphead showed bendy tricks on a yo-yo and was bit embarrassed at first but bendy was amazed at it

•bendy wears cupheads shirts especially if he has to leave for a mission (he misses him)

I have seen Morden stage musicals for Utena recently.

Musical Saionji is probably on a sugar-high 50% of the time and spends most of his time rambling to Anthy. While bouncing around the dorm room. He asks her questions, only to tell her not to interrupt when she tries to answer. About 89% of the time.

Maybe he has the occasional bouts of introspective thoughtful observations but they get lost in the constant stream of random honest silliness.

Musical Anthy probably prefers those days where he's not a violent asshole and just kicks back and lets him talk until he wears himself out. It's like her own personal comedy sketch.

☽ Morden (Morgyn/Raiden) ☾

❤ Raiden adores how talkative Morgyn is (notably their lil rambling). Knowing someone can open up to him and be vulnerable gives him the reassurance that he can be trusted. He's quite protective of Morgyn's vulnerability and usually ensures nobody interrupts them, too.

❤ Both are very big on physical touch in terms of love language, so sometimes them hanging out is just finding the right spot to cuddle for several hours (along with other kinds of physical touches, of course 🔞)

❤ Raiden is obsessed with Morgyn's lipstick stains/kisses. He'll be practically begging for them when he notices they're wearing a pretty vibrant lipstick, and they're pretty happy to oblige to it most of the time.

❤ Morgyn loves playing with Raiden's hair and will find any excuses to leave braids here and there. He can't really bring himself to undo them.

❤ In terms of who's the better cook in the relationship: Morgyn still manages to burn instant ramen. Raiden has yet to screw up a batch of macarons or a beef wellington.

I've had Raiden as a sim for almost 3 years now, most of those 3 years has been spent developing these two, so it's safe to say they're one of my favorite ships due to how far they've come! Shipping an existing character with an original character definitely comes with some hate, but I try my best to ignore it, LOL

Crown

Experiences Stage 3 Insanity permanently. He can normally tolerate the effects pretty well, but occasionally will just sort of isolate himself or collapse when it gets difficult to ignore. Doesn’t always know whether something or someone he hears/sees is real. Morden usually helps ground him, or tries to support the best he can.

Connors

He is Argos’ great grandson! He had no idea he was related to him in any way until he went to Sameria and met a relative or two who mentioned it during conversation. People sometimes mistake him as the old man when in armor, even though it’s common knowledge that he’s dead. Connors can’t help but feel a little guilty for killing him.

Crest

Is absolutely obsessed with baking. He loves to experiment with different combinations of flavors and ingredients. Even just the mention of it causes him to go on rants and rambling sessions that last for hours. His favorite thing to bake at the moment is cookies. He usually just gives them to the others, since he can’t exactly handle the texture of his own cooking more often than not.

Clef

Doesn’t really know much of the Bronze Sea’s common language. He has a dictionary that he uses to refer to whenever he doesn’t know or understand a word. He speaks very formally. His speech patterns can be compared to a royal’s in how strict and precise his wording is. Sometimes gets frustrated when trying to communicate, and just ends up reverting to Greek. It’s painful for everyone involved.

I've actually had this idea in my head for a few days, but I never shared it or did anything with it. When I began thinking about potential stories for the Phantom Stranger in a new comic or tv series or something, I came up with an idea: The Phantom Stranger should one day face off against Mr. Nobody from The Doom Patrol. I haven't done anything with this idea but think of it, but I thought I could share it here.

A Concept: baby Rey is adopted by Leia. There is no Ben. Just Rey, her mom, her uncle and rolemodel Luke, and her dad Han who also has uncle energy.

Rey brings home her friends from kindergarten and her family steadily gets larger. The baby musketeers, Rey, Finn, Poe and Rose. Cute lil chilluns waving around sticks and having a blast pretending to fight off evil.
