While strawberries certainly are a reddish-pink color and are roundish in shape, the origin of the name “Strawberry Moon” has nothing to do with the Moon’s hue or appearance.
• June's full Moon is typically the last full moon of spring or the first of summer. The June Full Moon will be extraordinary. For the first time since 1985, Full Moon happens precisely on the summer solstice, when the Sun is highest up. Because the Full Moon is always opposite the Sun, this year, you will see that the Moon is 10 widths lower on the horizon than the Sun ever is.
This “Strawberry Moon” name has been used by Native American Algonquian tribes that live in the northeastern United States as well as the Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota peoples to mark the ripening of “June-bearing” strawberries that are ready to be gathered. The Haida term Berries Ripen Moon reflects this as well. As flowers bloom and early fruit ripens, June is a time of great abundance for many.

The history of Litha reveals its deep connections to ancient agricultural societies & their reliance on the sun's power. Celebrated as part of the Wheel of the Year, Litha symbolizes the balance between light & darkness. Throughout history customs such as bonfires, herb gathering & the construction of sunwheels have marked this festival. Today, Litha continues to be celebrated by various communities, with gatherings at sacred sites & private rituals in natural settings. It serves as a reminder of our connection with nature and the cycles of life.
• The traditions of Litha appear to be borrowed from many cultures. Most ancient cultures celebrated the summer solstice in some way such as the Celts celebrated Litha with hilltop bonfires & dancing. Many people attempted to jump over or through the bonfires for good luck. Other European traditions included setting large wheels on fire & rolling them down a hill into a body of water.
Litha is often associated with Midsummer, a celebration that extends beyond the pagan and Wiccan traditions. Midsummer festivities are observed in many cultures around the world, including Scandinavian countries where it holds a prominent place in their cultural heritage. Midsummer dances, bonfires, & feasts are integral parts of these celebrations, often accompanied by folklore and traditional rituals that honor the sun's energy and the abundance of nature during this time.
The summer solstice is the longest day of the year & in some traditions, Litha is when The Sun(The God) is symbolically at it's peak time of power & the World will soon be ripe to harvest. It is also when The Goddess is pregnant with The God who is to be reborn at Yule.
• In the Northern Hemisphere the Summer Solstice occurs when the Sun reaches its highest and northernmost points in the sky. It marks the start of summer in the northern half of the globe. (In contrast, the June solstice in the Southern Hemisphere is when the Sun is at its lowest point in the sky, marking the start of winter.)
Some also believe the history & spirit of Litha revolve around two deities, The Oak King & The Holly King. In Wiccan and Neo-Pagan traditions, each King rules the Earth for half of the year. From Yule to Litha, the Oak King rules. On Litha, the two battled for the crown and it is then that the Holly King triumphs. The Holly King will rule through fall until Yule, and the cycle will begin again.
Related festivals:
• Vestalia- June 7th -15th
Was a Roman religious festival in honor of Vesta, the goddess of the hearth & the burning continuation of the sacred fire of Rome. It was held from 7–15 June & was reserved as a women's-only event. Domestic & family life in general were represented by the festival of the goddess of the house & of the spirits of the storechamber — Vesta & the Penates .
On the first day of festivities the penus Vestae (sanctum sanctorum of the temple of Vesta which was usually curtained off) was opened for the only time during the year, at which women offered sacrifices. As long as the curtain remained open, mothers could come, barefoot and disheveled, to leave offerings to the goddess in exchange for a blessing to them and their family.
For the last day, the penus Vestae was solemnly closed, the Flaminica Dialis observed mourning & the temple was subjected to a purification called stercoratio: the filth was swept from the temple and carried next by the route called clivus Capitolinus and then into the Tiber.

Invisibility In Witchcraft
Invisibility is something we see in all different types of media for a very long time - superhero comics and movies, Harry Potter book and movie series, fairy tales and lore from several countries. It is one of those powers that even in modern science they have been trying to create true invisible cloaks and armor for military use. Though invisibility in literature and movies is not the same as when we refer to it in witchcraft. So let us talk about this aspect of magic today, a brief history and even some modern day spells.
What is Invisibility Magic?
Invisibility magic is magic of concealing oneself, others, places and objects from detection. As stated above it is not in the literal sense of you vanishing from sight however think of it like a cloaking device - it helps you go unnoticed or makes you less likely to be observed. Of course take this with a grain of salt - magic has its limits. However, an invisibility spell can help you as an additional buffer of protection. Often times, invisibility spells are to ensure special items you have hidden away go undetected such as your grimoire on a bookshelf or sigils of protection scattered about your home, it can also be used for oneself or others to help them travel in safety.
History
Old manuscripts and grimoires dating back to the 1600s have been found describing spells for invisibility. These such spells include chanting, potions and rituals said to help the caster ‘vanish’ from people’s views or travel unseen. One of these manuscripts has been archived if you wish to see it here and another here please keep in mind these are old scripts and may not be safely done today - do your research on ingredients and if they are safe to use modernly.
Though invisibility in witchcraft is a bit harder to dig up, invisibility has a long and rich history in religion, folklore and tales. Many creatures, spirits and persons of lore, legend and story through the centuries are said to vanish without a trace or go unseen by normal people.
In the cases of witchcraft though it is harder to find information on it, as listed above some old manuscripts were found listing methods of invisibility. Some other methods listed have been carrying the heart of a bat or a toad or frog under one’s garments (or their right arm) can render you harder to detect. Others speak about how black hens and chickens may be related to invisibility by using their feathers as charms. Mercury historically was used as a method to be deemed invisible, with using it to make jewelry or charms a popular method - however perhaps not safe in modern day terms. Another grimoire called “The Second Book of the Secrets of Albertus Magnus” states that wrapping an Ophethalminus stone in a Laurel leaf will render the wielder invisible. What is an Ophethalminus stone? It is commonly accepted and believed he was referring to a Lapis Lazuli stone.
Correspondences
Of course modern day invisibility calls for more modern day correspondences - to help insure the user and caster are using ingredients that relate to what they seek. Below is a brief list of some correspondences - please research before ingesting or applying anything to the skin. Research possible allergic reactions, side effects and complications of medicinal herbs and plants. Research all stones you use before subjecting them to heat, water or oil.

Just Some Haunted Moonstone Headcanons That’s Been Sitting in my Phone for Months
SFW
General
- Haddie has instinctive “fight” responses that can knock someone out if they’re not careful. She must have a warning beforehand and consent before she engages in any physical touch.
- Mikaela once tried to surprise hug Haddie from behind and it ended up with a right hook to her gut-
- Haddie’s love language are words of affirmation, and she flusters easily by soft touches and soft words that are from genuine love and affection
- Mikaela’s love language is all over the place- most of the time it’s actions- she’s also very easy to fluster
- Haddie has the braincell, Mikaela almost never has it
- Haddie is a really good cook- Mikaela cannot be trusted in the kitchen, but if she has a recipe/help she can cook
- Mikaela makes drinks for Haddie, they both have a preference for tea
- Snuggles are a MUST. After Haddie warmed up to Mikaela’s touch, they both are starving for each other’s touch and will almost always be making some sort of contact with each other.
- They’re both socially awkward as fuck, they’re both autistic
- Communicators, Haddie is super blunt and notice changes in Mikaela easily. Mikaela has a harder time interpreting Haddie and due to her anxiety, will often ask.
- It’s canon that Mikaela is dyslexic so Haddie is often there to help read and correct her, and write notes
- Both Haddie and Mikaela’s VAs are singers so they also sing and they will duet together in secret since they’re self conscious about their singing (fun fact Mikaela’s va is a metal singer too so I’m just gonna say she has dat metal screech too)
- Mikaela has a disturbing good Toad (from Mario) impression and uses it in all the cursed ways
Within the realm
- Haddie wasn’t very fond of Mikaela at first, she’s not amused with the idea/fact of magic and witches- all of her experience with magic is from sources of evil afterall
- Unfortunately- Mikaela took an immediate interest in Haddie- someone who actually fights monsters and ghosts?? Now that’s a person she wants to talk to- she could potentially come up with hit horror stories for open mic nights back home!
- Haddie warmed up slowly to Mikaela after noticing that her boons were of great help to the team- even noticing how she would tell stories around the campfire to help cheer other survivors up (although it did bother her for a while with how cliche and wrong the monsters tended to be-)
- When Mikaela came to Haddie asking for advice on how to make her stories better, Haddie hesitantly gave some- expecting it to scare or even disgust Mikaela away- but to her surprise, it didn’t. In fact, Mikaela latched on to her more.
- Mikaela was the first to demonstrate protectiveness, Haddie never asked nor done anything special for her but Mikaela often went out of her way to ensure Haddie was alright- and of course this didn’t go unnoticed-
- Haddie started to return the favour by doing whatever she could to protect Mikaela as well
- What started as a mutual want to protect each other as fellow survivors then became genuine worry and care
- It became a custom for the two to group up as soon as possible when a trial began- even carefully picking perks to compliment each other
- They often fall asleep leaning against each other by the campfire with a few open books scattered about
Outside the realm
- Mikaela and Haddie throw the best Halloween parties hands down
- Mikaela still works at the Moonstone but has now been invited as a storyteller in other places and earns more money freelancing
- Haddie continues traveling and podcasting
- They keep their relationship lowkey, since they’re growing in popularity, and out of fear of people finding out and harassing each other
- Due to the nature of their work, they often are apart from each other
- They call each other a lot, and if phone calls are not an option- then good ole fashion mail works too
- Always bring back souvenirs for each other
- If they can go together they will always go together
- They appear as guests in each other’s work pretty frequently
- Mikaela has every podcast from Haddie saved and she’ll listen to them as a comfort
- Mikaela likes shopping but has horrible money management so Haddie has to stop her
- Neither of them has a fashion sense
- They prefer at-home dates but sometimes dressing up all fancy and going somewhere is a great treat, it’ll usually be the beach if that’s the case
- Neither one of them knows what a sleep schedule is
NSFW
General
- They’re both switches but Haddie leans top and Mikaela leans bottom
- Mikaela gets horny easily, she’s also a brat- loves to really push at Haddie’s buttons in a good way
- Haddie is on the asexual spectrum, specifically demiaroace
- Body worship and cuddle fucks, they both become mush with body worship
- Mikaela really likes to touch Haddie’s face during intimate moments, this results in less oral but it’s a great exchange for the intimacy
- Praise kinks, the both of them, hardcore praise kinks
- Mikaela is the more vocal one, but gets self conscious and embarrassed about her own voice and will need Haddie to reconfirm that her moans are a turn on
- Haddie starts off quiet but can get louder than Mikaela in certain circumstances
- On the few occasions Mikaela does top, she adores giving scar and stretch mark worship
- Marking is common, but usually never anywhere noticeable
- They’re monogamous and fiercely loyal towards each other, it’s a normal theme in bed for them to throw around declarations of “mine” and “yours”
- It’s also due to each of their personal struggles with dysphoria and accepting themselves and the fact they deserve to be loved, so the time in bed is usually a time to strip all that worry away and be vulnerable so they can really experience each other without anxiety overtaking their psyche
- Therefore they are not ones for quickies, but they will tease each other throughout the day

Warhammer Age of Sigmar is a tabletop wargame that features a wide variety of armies, each with their unique units and playstyles. One of the most popular armies in Age of Sigmar is the Seraphon, an ancient race of lizardmen who ride into battle on the backs of massive dinosaurs and wield powerful magic. In this article, we will be exploring the top 10 best Seraphon units that you can use to dominate your opponents on the battlefield. 10) Slann Starmaster Datasheet The Slann Starmaster is a powerful wizard that is capable of casting a wide range of spells from the Lore of Celestial Domination. They also have access to powerful abilities such as "Cosmic Omniscience," which allows them to re-roll failed casting, unbinding, and dispelling rolls. As for why the Slann Starmaster is considered one of the best units in the Seraphon army, it's due to their versatility and power on the battlefield. They can provide support to other units through their abilities and spells, while also dealing significant damage themselves. Overall, the Slann Starmaster is a powerful unit in the Seraphon army, not the Soulblight Gravelords army. 9) Kroxigor Datasheet Kroxigor is a unit in the Seraphon army, which are giant bipedal crocodilians with immense brute strength that make up the frontline of the Seraphon armies. Kroxigors are equipped with a Drakebite Maul and Vice-like Jaws, and one in every three models in the unit can replace their Drakebite Maul with a Moon Hammer. Kroxigor units are considered one of the best units in the Seraphon army due to their high damage output and durability on the battlefield. They have the ability "Battle Synergy," which allows them to fight harder in the presence of Skink units, adding +1 to hit rolls for attacks made by the Kroxigor unit while it is wholly within 6" of any Skink units. Additionally, they have the "Jaws Like a Steel Trap" ability, which allows them to inflict significant damage on their enemies, shaking them back and forth like a rag doll to shatter bones and rip flesh 8) Ripperdactyl Riders Datasheet Ripperdactyl Riders are one of the best units in the Seraphon army, known for their speed, mobility, and deadly aerial attacks. They are mounted on Ripperdactyls, which are giant flying beasts with razor-sharp claws and teeth Ripperdactyl Riders are equipped with Moonstone Warspears, and one model in each unit can be a Ripperdactyl Rider Alpha, which has an extra attack with its Moonstone Warspear. Ripperdactyl Riders are considered one of the best units in the Seraphon army due to their ability to quickly close in on enemy units and deal significant damage. They have a high movement speed and can fly over terrain features, allowing them to quickly engage enemy units that might be difficult for other units to reach. They also have the "Blot Toad" ability, which allows them to summon a toad-like creature that can move across the battlefield and help distract enemy units. 7) Bastiladon Datasheet The Bastiladon is a powerful unit in the Seraphon army, known for its durability, versatility, and devastating attacks. It is a large, heavily-armored creature with a variety of weapons and abilities that make it a formidable opponent on the battlefield. Bastiladons can be equipped with either an Ark of Sotek or a Solar Engine. The Ark of Sotek is a powerful weapon that can deal significant damage to enemy units, while the Solar Engine can project a beam of light that damages and blinds enemy units. Fielding the "Light of the Heavens" ability, they can re-roll hit rolls of 1 for attacks made by friendly Seraphon units while they are within 6" of the Bastiladon. Bastiladons are considered one of the best units in the Seraphon army due to their durability and versatility. They have a high number of wounds and a strong save, making them difficult to take down. They can also be used as a mobile fortress, protecting other units and providing cover on the battlefield.
In addition, they have the "Primeval Domain" ability, which allows them to re-roll failed charge rolls for friendly Seraphon units while they are within 18" of the Bastiladon 6) Engine of the Gods Datasheet The Engine of the Gods is a powerful unit in the Seraphon army that is commanded by a Skink Priest and crewed by Skinks armed with Meteoric Javelins. It is carried into battle on the back of a Stegadon and is equipped with a variety of powerful weapons and abilities, including a massive laser beam that can deal significant damage to enemy units. The Engine of the Gods is considered one of the best units in the Seraphon army due to its versatility and ability to deal significant damage to enemy units. It has a high number of wounds and a strong save, making it difficult to take down. As well as this, it has a variety of powerful abilities, including the ability to summon units of Seraphon warriors, heal nearby units, and deal mortal wounds to enemy units. 5) Skinks Datasheet Skinks are small, agile, and intelligent creatures that serve as the scouts, skirmishers, and ranged units in the Seraphon army. They are armed with javelins, blowpipes, or boltspitters, and can be equipped with shields for added defense. Skinks are considered one of the best units in the Seraphon army due to their speed, versatility, and ability to hold objectives. They are fast and can move quickly across the battlefield, making them ideal for capturing objectives or harassing enemy units. They are also versatile, with the ability to be used as ranged units or melee fighters, depending on their equipment and role in the army. Additionally, they are relatively cheap in points, making them an efficient choice for filling out a Seraphon army. 4) Saurus Knights Datasheet Saurus Knights are a unit in the Seraphon army that serve as the cavalry and shock troops [1]. They ride on Cold Ones, cunning predatory beasts, and are equipped with celestial light weapons that deal significant damage to enemy units. Saurus Knights are considered one of the best units in the Seraphon army due to their mobility, durability, and damage output. They are relatively fast, with a movement speed of 10", and can be used to quickly flank enemy units or capture objectives. Additionally, they have a high number of wounds and a strong save, making them difficult to take down. It also has a powerful ranged weapon, the sunfire throwers, which can deal significant damage to enemy units from a distance . Additionally, it has a crushing charge attack that can cause significant damage to enemy units in melee combat. 2) Skink Starpriest Datasheet The Skink Starpriest is a hero unit in the Seraphon army that serves as a powerful support unit [1]. Armed with a Serpent Staff and Venombolt, the Skink Starpriest is capable of manipulating the outcome of a battle through complex starrituals. The Skink Starpriest is considered one of the best units in the Seraphon army due to its unique abilities and versatility. At the start of your hero phase, the Skink Starpriest can roll a dice. On a 5+, you receive 1 command point, making it a valuable asset in the game. Additionally, the Skink Starpriest has
access to powerful spells such as Blazing Starlight, which can reduce the hit rolls of enemy units within range. 1) Saurus Guard Datasheet Saurus Guard is a unit in the Seraphon army that serves as a defensive infantry unit and bodyguard for the Slann Starmasters. They are heavily armored and armed with powerful Celestite Polearms, capable of dealing significant damage to enemy units in melee combat. Saurus Guard are considered one of the best units in the Seraphon army due to their durability, damage output, and unique abilities. They have a high number of wounds and a strong save, making them difficult to take down. Additionally, they have a unique ability called "Selfless Protectors" which allows them to allocate wounds or mortal wounds to other friendly Saurus Guard units within 3" of a friendly Slann Starmaster. This ability makes them a valuable asset in protecting the Slann Starmaster, which is a key unit in the Seraphon army. Their durability, damage output, and unique abilities make it a valuable addition to any Seraphon army.
