Well this was uncalled for. As little as it matter to her, Hanon couldn’t help but feel challenged. Unfortunately, she wasn’t the best at brushing off such comments. Even if her heart belonged to a single person, the azurette just couldn’t back down from a challenge.

“Excuse me?” Her arms were crossed in protest of the accusation. “I have plenty of game thank you. It’s not my fault that the men out there are subpar in stature.”

When Eiri had gotten closer, Yata’s reaction had been to take a step back, but he hadn’t been able to escape his fate in form of the smaller female picking him up, something that stirred confusion, surprise and embarrassment all the same in him.

“W-What are you doing, Eiri?? L-Let me down again!” Yata didn’t dare touching her in any way, so he just kept still with a furious blush on his cheeks.

If they hadn’t been out, they certainly would have popped out when he jumped from her question.  His ears?  Had he gotten so used to not hiding them at home that he’d stopped keeping them hidden while walking?  Who else had seen?  Maybe people thought it was just cosplay?  Although that was...an embarrassing thought.

The ears twitched as he hesitated, looking at her.  Something seemed off, but he finally answered.  “Um...if you want to, it’s okay.”
