omg moon i took my time with answering this bc i know you're an expert on all things armin! tysm for asking and letting me talk about my best boy!!

i've always wanted to do a modern au armin who works as a political adviser (or is a young, upcoming politician). he's career is on the up and up but he's facing a personal "scandal" bc his wife (mikasa) has left him. they also have a young daughter. this one will center largely around how he picks himself back up, and the relationship between him and annie. In this one, Annie is a young college-going girl with a tough life and tries to engage in dubious activities for money. He catches her attempting to be a prostitute (with the intention of robbing her client), and he takes her home and just kind of gives her a bed to sleep in (NOT next to him lol, not yet) bc he realises that she doesn't exactly have a proper home to go back to. He then offers her a job as a nanny for his daughter! She's not really good with kids so this is a challenge for her, but she accepts. And their relationship kinda goes from there :) this one's really exciting bc its got all my fav stuff!! i also get to explore his feelings for mikasa (and also his relationship with eren which has been strained for years)!!

i have another one which is a bit of a controversial topic, which i can imagine not many people like lol (i posted a snippet of it years ago) - armin is plagued by dreams of bertholdt's memories and begins taking drugs to escape them. he tries to hide this from his wife (annie), but his poor mental state puts a big strain on their marriage. he ends up cheating on her (or getting taken advantage of, but he doesn't see it that way), and that kind of destroys their marriage. so it's a bit of a character study fic to see how he would recover from there. their marriage may or may not recover.

i started writing this but it feels more like an original thing so it may not see the light of day as aot fanfic BUT - an eren/armin/mikasa story set in a dystopian world where the three kids are on the road going from town to town trying to survive. i was really inspired by the anime heavenly delusion for the setting. i really hope i write this someday because this one is really about a throuple!! not a love triangle!!

i would also love to do a post-canon character study fic where armin has a conversation with levi about the choice levi made to save him, and not erwin.

That's a good suggestion too 😊 maybe change Sasha as a costumer for Sasha as his apprentice/assistant (assuming chefs can have assistants to begin with, I gotta find out) just so it looks more plausible? Idk

Only thing I know for sure is that I need- no, I MUST write about Sasha worshipping Eren's cock 🍆 💦🔥💯 which was my main idea with my first suggestion 🤣 it's just something that has been sitting in the back of my mind for a while now
