Moonlight Lovers - Aaron Chapter 8, Total AP 7,720

The previous chapter had ended with Aaron inviting Eloise in his room. The moment they close the door Aaron confess his love for her with a very romantic speech. They jump on each other (Eloise is quite active) and you can choose to either sleep together or not. The smut is hot but fade to black, if you choose instead to not get physical he takes her to bed and reads her romantic poetry and fall asleep while cuddling.

Soon after Ethan knocks on the door saying that Raphael has perceived a presence in the manor, and Eloise and Aaron go hunting, first he is in his human form then he turns into his wolf form. They don’t find concrete traces but once the are back the find Farah.

Farah finally spills the beans about why she is here, she is having problems in her pack (she is the Alpha) and wants Aaron back. She even knows of a ritual that would make him a full werewolf again, losing his vampire side, setting Eloise free. Aaron is confused and asks for time to think about it.

Eloise gets panicky, she talks with the other residents who give her different advice, when she can’t take it anymore she storms to Aaron’s room to talk about it. He is not ready yet so they have a discussion, he loves Eloise but getting back to his pack had always been his dream for the past several hundred years. They fight and Eloise leaves pretty depressed.

She takes a bath and after a while Aaron comes, says that he loves her and that he was sorry for pushing her away and that he wants to spend the night with her. So following the philosophy of “tomorrow’s problem, today we pretend everything is well” he joins her in the bathtub and they make love (illustration).

Some personal considerations:

I can’t post the full illustration because you might remember what happened to my blog after Beliath 9, so here is a link where you can see the whole thing.

The sexy parts are hot but unfortunately fade to black, there is one thing I didn’t like at all, in the bathtub scene Eloise suddenly thinks about Farah and gets even more horny. I have nothing about a wlw route but this is Aaron’s route it makes no sense to me that either of them ends with someone else. Maybe Eloise will end up with Farah in the neutral ending like Ivan did with Loic or, even worse, she is tuned to Aaron’s thoughts and he is hang up on her. From the way these past chapters have been written I think those are truly Eloise’s thoughts, we’ll see what they mean. Even if there is no wlw ending I still find pretty yikes that she or he would think about someone else while banging.

GUIDES IMPORTANT INFO PLEASE READ

Updated in January 2022 please read

1) We have now completed the guides for the 7 available vampires, this blog will remain up for you to access the guides in the future and we may keep updating it with a few missing translations.

2) Whatever is coming next for Moonlight Lovers, we can’t commit to making new guides in the future, as making guides is expensive and very time consuming.

3) Since the bug was fixed, we updated Raphael 7, 8 and 9, Ivan 9 and Aaron 8 in January 2021. Please only use the latest guides you can find on this blog.

4) There might still problem with Aaron 9. The guide worked before they fixed the previous bug but afterwards it didn’t anymore. We have updated the guide with what we believe is the best possible combination of choices (you can find it in the english album), however since we stopped testing this route we don’t know if the issue was solved. We suggest you use this guide in any case as it will lead to the good ending.

5) Excluding bugs, the guides will work for sure only if you follow them from the very beginning of Chapter 1, otherwise they may not. The illustrations depend on your cumulative LoM and each choice can affect it, having obtained all the illustrations from previous chapters does not guarantee obtaining the following or the good ending.

6) Endings are usually already decided when completing chapter 9, thus if you followed all the guides chapter 10 does not require a guide (except Ethan), we stopped making guides for chapter 10 because they are not needed. Endings seem to depend on your total LoM. Following the guide of completed routes will grant you the good ending. If you want the neutral or bad ending you have to replay from the beginning and kill your LoM, replaying the last couple of chapters is not enough, not even replaying half the route is enough, you have to go back at least from chapter 2 or 3. Pick the opposite of what’s in the guide and when you get to ABC choices usually one is positive, one is negative and one is neutral, you have to pick most choices of the same type to unlock that ending.

7) All guides lead to the positive ending except Neil, Neil’s route works a bit differently and its guide will give the negative (villain ending). Click on this link to read an explanation of how to get all Neil’s endings.

Moonlight Lovers - Chapter 10 (Good Ending), Total APs 11,760

The episode starts with the murderer finally showing himself and introducing himself as Neil. He has beaten up Ethan really badly, who is unconscius on the floor, and also defeated Aaron and Beliath. He addresses directly Eloise saying that he is there for her and that he knows Vladimir, who has not been honest with them, hinting that he was involved in Eloise’s parents death. We see that Vladimir is somehow under Neil’s control and he ends up attacking the others. There is a moment of complete chaos, in the end Raphael gives proof of great fencing skills by both incapacitating Vladimir and wounding Neil who runs.

Eloise manages to get through Vladimir who breaks Neil’s control and is now ready to tell the whole truth. When he showed up at the manor 18 years ago he had felt the ancient vampire’s presence and found him caged and tortured in the basement. Apparently Eloise’s parents were medical researchers who had pushed too far in their experimentations and decided to test on vampires to find cures for blood diseases and eventually immortality. Neil had been very hurt at the time but managed to take control of Vladimir’s mind and have him kill Eloise’s parents. This had left Vladimir shocked but Neil had manipulated him in believing that if he would take care of him and help him recover he would use his superior blood to cure him from his moonlight allergy. And this is what happened for the following 18 years, that Neil had spent mostly in hybernation in the basement. Vladimir had no idea that Neil was the murderer they were looking for until he had checked the basement a few days before and found it empty. (He also added that he had been the one who so long ago had found baby Eloise in the manor and took her to the orphanage to be raised there.)

Everyone is shocked by these revelations and Eloise doesn’t know how she feels about the situation but still decides to spend together what may be their last night alive (complete fade to black, we see nothing, not even the beginning of it, we only know that she let him bite her 3 times).

The following night Neil is back and ready to complete his revenge murdering Eloise. He tries to control Vladimir again who instead painfully but succesfully fights the elder vampire’s mental manipulation. Everyone fights against Neil, at some point he is about to mortally wound Eloise when Aaron gets in between and saves her, getting hit in her place and dying. Eloise is devastated, at this point only she and a very hurt Vladimir are still standing, but she remembers Aaron’s words about Chalices being able to use some kind of blood attack by hurting their target from the inside, so she licks Aaron’s blood of which her hands are covered and enters in that strange dimension she had already been in episode 8, and magaes to hurt Neil who runs, but it’s too late, he is too badly hurt now. In the end the three of them stand in the library where he admits defeat and he’s almost happy to get his freedom through death, because the turture he had been through had messed up his mind and he had never managed to really free himself. When he’d felt Eloise, the daughter of his captors, coming to live at the manor, some kind of survival panick had switched on in his head, feeling he would have to kill to not end up in the same state as he had been with her parents. In the end Vladimir kills him with Aaron’s sword.

At this point Eloise notices that Vladimir is standing in the moonlight without any consequence so she and Raphael, who meanwhile had gained some strenght back, realise that Vladimir’s condition was mostly mental and that him getting rid of Neil’s control, fighting for life, had “cured” him. Vlad adds that probably Eloise’s presence in his life was also part of it.

And this is the end.

—— Considerations ——

I wouldn’t really call this a good ending. Aaron dies. Neil, turns out, was a good person who had gone crazy after years of turture, Eloise even goes down the basement and finds it’s a horrible dark place where he’d been stuck for the past 18 years never really managing to heal mentally. When you are free from your torturers but decide to remain in your torture chamber to allegedly heal your physical wounds for the following 18 years you must be at least a tiny bit depressed. But we can’t totally sympathise with him becase he did kill a bunch of innocent women and Aaron in the end. Also, we don’t know what really happens to Eloise in the future, she never says if she becomes a vampire in the end or not so maybe this open the door for a possible season 2? But without Aaron on this route is just sad for me…

Still, this is much better than the neutral and bad ending, I haven’t unlocked them myself but it seems that in the neutral ending Vladimir is too sad for Aaron’s death and Eloise helps him commit suicide, and the bad ending I have no idea I only saw the illustration where Eloise is crying desperatly on Vladimir’s coat so it must be fucking tragic.

Idk… I’m pretty disappointed right now…

The only bright side is that the guide seems to work even too well. Whatever combination of answers for this episode we keep unlocking the good ending, so at least there’s that.

If we miss the illustration in Moonlight Lovers, do we have a message telling us that we missed it ?

I'm at the end of episode 1, Aaron has just arrived, so the scene we see in the illustration has passed but I didn't have the slightest indication

Die Episode beginnt direkt am Ende der vorherigen. Beliath und Eloise wachen auf, weil jemand beharrlich an die Tür klopft. Es stellt sich heraus, dass Leandra mit schlechten Nachrichten zurück ist. Sie erkannte, dass Asmodee tatsächlich nicht nach Eloise ist, sondern nach Beliath, sie will ihn töten und seine Kräfte absorbieren. Sie hatte dasselbe mit Beliaths Vater getan, warum er nie da war, und sie plant, dasselbe mit ihrem Sohn zu tun. Sukkubi haben keine Gefühle.

Beliath wird wütend und an diesem Punkt gibt es eine wichtige Wahl: Sie können ihn entweder davon überzeugen, nicht alleine zu handeln und um Hilfe zu bitten, oder Sie werden es nicht tun und er wird sagen, dass er sich selbst darum kümmern muss, weil es sein Problem ist . Abhängig davon ändert sich das folgende Gespräch mit den anderen Bewohnern geringfügig, dennoch gibt Aaron Beliath eine bestimmte Klinge, die im Mittelalter hergestellt wurde, um Dämonen zu töten, und bereitet eine Art Ritual mit Salz vor, um den Zugang der Dämonen zum Herrenhaus zu blockieren dass sie sich stattdessen vorerst auf den Vampir konzentrieren können. Dieses Ritual hat jedoch einige Nachteile, da es auch bedeutet, dass Leandra das Herrenhaus auch nicht betreten kann und Beliath es nicht verlassen kann.

Danach trainiert Beliath Eloise zum Kampf, er ist beeindruckt und sagt ihr auch, dass er sie in einen Vampir verwandeln möchte, damit sie ihre gemeinsame Zeit verlängern können, und später haben sie eine sehr süße und sexy Szene in ihrem Zimmer, in dem wir Holen Sie sich die Illustration. In der Mitte können Sie sich auch entscheiden, entweder ans Bett gefesselt zu sein oder derjenige zu sein, der ihn fesselt 👀

Am Ende wacht Eloise morgens auf. Sie ist zuversichtlich, dass sie Asmodees Anwesenheit nicht spürt, aber als sie im Erdgeschoss ankommt, sieht sie Blutspuren, die eine Spur zum Wald bilden, und eine Schrift an der Tür mit der Aufschrift „Goodbye Leandra ”.

Moonlight Lovers: matryoshka effect in Spanish leaks

In the post of 04/26/2019 we analyzed together the Spanish leak on Ivan. Today we'll talk about it again, addressing this burning issue and the consequences it has generated.

The unexpected publication of Béliath and Ivan’s final illustrations gave courage to the other leakers to reveal themselves, posting images which give space to possible new broad-spectrum anticipations concerning the six alleged dates.

Six, a number that made me turn up my nose. Chinomiko has always given us the opportunity to have up to five flirts available, leaving Dake as an occasional option for some sporadic episodes of My Candy Love. So the question arises: does the sixth shadow belong to a helper/antagonist character in the game, or does Chinomiko decide to complicate the plot by adding a sixth route? So it would seem, according to the next images that I’m going to show you now.

The first one has nothing we don't already know, it shows the boys’ shadows to unlock, but what immediately comes to eye are the names reportered in red on each of them. Three of these names are familiar, they are Vladimir and Béliath, the only ones to have been officially revealed by Beemoov, and Ivan anticipated by the first leak, and which would be reconfirmed as the definitive name of the hooded vampire.

The second one is a fanart in which the silhouettes of the six men are reproduced - taken from the opening image of the site - with the sketches of their alleged clothes and hairstyles. Designs that find confirmation in the background of Candy’s smartphone in Campus Life, in which all Moonlight Lovers’ male characters are depicted, with the exception of the gray-haired vampire, Ethan.

Basically, we already know what we have to expect after opening the challenges’ doors. But the question that everyone is asking themselves at the moment is: Who is Ethan? And why isn't he shown in the homepage of the app on Candy’s phone?

Perhaps because, somehow, he has already been introduced to the Chinomiko’s public through My Candy Love. And, therefore, if he had been drawn on the home of the mobile app, Candy could have recognized him easily.

We can't know if Ethan really is how the fanart illustrates him, but if that were the case, I would say that this guy looks hard to forget. The pearly hair, the pale complexion, the clear irises, are physiognomic features that certainly can't stay unnoticed; especially for the great similarity that he would have with Lysandre (Rest in peace), one of the most iconic characters of Amour Sucré - High School Life.

Now, you must be thinking that I'm taking a blunder, that Candy has never met Ethan.  Well, that's not right. If you remember, at the Moondance - the place that Armin shrewdly calls "A bar for vampires" - Candy is approached by a young man, whom she herself defines as "Much older than us [referring to herself , Armin, Alexy and her crush]. Light complexion and silver hair. His face had something enigmatic, attractive but also a little disturbing".

Doesn't the figure you see in the screenshot remind you of anybody? Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it was Ethan the mysterious young man, who flirted with Candy when she went for the first time to dance in a disco - "dance", a code word to "save Kentin from Evan's clutches"!

The brief exchange of words between the two leaves ample room for the imagination on how Ethan will be temperamentally, and on how much he contends the playboy role with Béliath within the vampire clan. In fact, the one that introduces himself to Candy and offers her a drink was the silver-haired guy, not the brunette one.

Honestly, seeing how Amour Sucré - Campus Life is going on, the possibility of having six scenarios to choose from in ML worries me a little, since the plot itself doesn't give me the impression of being particularly innovative. I don’t think that such a risky move would be beneficial without a proper characterization of the characters. I really hope Beemoov’s gonna do a nice job, that the characters won’t be flat and that the themes chosen are well explained and analyzed.

ANYWAY, Ethan. Another vampire with the potential to become a papabile date for my future protagonist - just because he looks alike Lysandre LOL Sorry, Vlad, you are officially in the friendzone xD

Small digression: doesn't Aaron too dark-skinned and too little dressed to be a vampire? Could he be a werewolf?

Moonlight Lovers, chapter 09. Total APs 7,700

Eloise wakes up and goes to play the piano to lure Neil to her, he joins her and they play together and make out. Then they decide to continue reading the play and talk about love, but Aaron and Raphael interrupt them and after some talk Neil decides to test Raphael’s manipulation skills. Nothing much happens with Raphael but Ivan shows up offering to bring more wood for the fireplace and later we find out that it was actually Eloise who was feeling cold and had managed to use Ivan from afar.

Neil and Eloise bath together, it gets cute and hot but nothing happens, then he tests her skills again and she almost manages to manipulate his thoughts, he’s shook but pleased, and tells her they are equals despite her being a turned vampire. They go to sleep together but nothing happens because Eloise is very tired.

The next night Neil has prepared a surprise for her, he takes her to the lake (new place we had never seen) and they spend some quiet time together. Again you have the choice to tell Neil if you want to live peacefully with the other vampires or only with him, at which he goes “I know what to do now” (!!!) Then things get very hot and make love (illustration). Afterward they get back to the manor to find the other vampires discussing a series of murders in town (most likely Eloise and Neil’s meals) and said that tomorrow they will decide what to do.

Moonlight Lovers - Neil, Chapter 4. Total AP 7,520.

Right after the scene on the roof from the previous chapter, Neil feels very weak and Eloise takes him to his Den and ends up falling asleep next to him. The following night they go hunting for Neil because he’s still feeling weak and needs blood, and Eloise manages to hunt someone for him to bite. They have a discussion about vampire’s right to kill humans because they are predators, the circle of life yadda yadda, you can either agree or disagree with him according to the choices.

Once they arrive back at the manor they find Ivan and Aaron discussing about Ivan’s little progress as a vampire. Basically, Ivan is a Neil stan and wants to be trained by him. Neil thinks that Ivan is useless and will never be a good vampire, meanwhile he also boosts about Eloise’s great skills.

In the morning Eloise hears a scream that wakes her up, she can either keep sleeping or find out what happened. Basically, Ivan tried to hunt by himself, bring a woman back at the manor (which is forbidden) and show to Neil to prove that he also has skills. He messed up, the woman ran away screaming and he got badly sunburnt in the process.

As Neil and Aaron go again at “my protegee is better than yours”/”your protegee is not better than mine”, Aaron says ok if Eloise is so good she should train Ivan herself. A bit more back and forward and basically we end up agreeing to train Ivan (illustration). If we do a good job Neil is proud.

The episode ends with Neil offering to start combat training Eloise and she even manages to touch him, which surprises and pleases him. At the end of the night he walks her back to her room and kisses her hand, which leaves her flustered and aware of her feelings.

Moonlight Lovers - Neil, chapter 08. Total AP 6,460.

Eloise wakes up in the middle of the day, she can't rest well because of her feelings and Neil ignoring them, she walks through the manor and runs into Neil in the parlour. We have another conversation about his past and then go on the roof to train our reflexes. By the end of the session Neil is impressed and we are both hungry so we go to town to hunt.

Eloise grabs a guy in the square and we share the meal with Neil, he says that it's a pretty intimate act he had naver donw before. Then we walk back to the manor and discuss about the other vampires, with options of being more or less friendly towards them. Then Neil talks about manipulation and how he is a master in it. Eloise gets worried he might be doing the same with her but he reassures her that he would never because his goal is to make a great vampire out of her. Also, he is not able to read her mind, she always suprises him and he's happy about it. They decide to meet the next day to read a book together so to start learning about people's personalities, motivations etc as a first introduction to manipulation.

The following night they start reading a play out loud, and Eloise realises that there's more than deception and mystery to the story, but also love, which he can't grasp. So she starts reading the scene of the love confession and the more they read the more they start using their own words and speak frankly, and Neil shares that he's scared to let go and follow his desires.

Right when things were about to torn good.... RAPHAEL enters the library, realise they are (in theory) acting a play and begs them to stay there and listen, because "I can't see art anymore, I can at least listen, my life is sad blabla". Eloise wants to murder him, but then they start talking about Raphael's past as an artist, Neil is interested so Eloise just leaves. She runs into Beliath who offers her to spend the night together but she sends him packing and instead trains with Aaron.

Later on Neil joins her in her room and shares again about his life, but when the topic of feelings reemerges he runs away.

Eloise, who is a badass and won't let it go, follows him to the garden, scolds him, tells him that she loves him and in the end he kisses her (illustration).

She asks him if he'd like to sleep in her room, but he says that it's better he doesn't because he wouldn't be able to stop, and they have all the time in the world. So he bids her goodnight with another kiss and then they go their separate ways.

Moonlight Lovers - Ethan, Chapter 9, Total AP 7,480

Eloise wakes up finding Ethan happy or annoyed about the outcome of the experiment depending if she got all the ingredients he needed in the previous chapter. Things go on this way for some time, he starts injecting her random vampire blood he found in the pantry and she has a bad reaction. This happens one or more times depending on choices and lom, he hopes to obtain a cure from Eloise’s blood which seems to have a natural protection to Vampire’s blood because of her Chalice status. 

At some point they are discovered by Vladimir who had rushed into Ethan’s room asking help for Ivan who had been attacked by the murder. Vladimir gets really angry about what is going on, Eloise is weak and Ethan is in a pitiful state because he hasn’t eaten in a long time. They organise a meeting with all the residents (except Ivan who is recovering) and vote about what to do with the murderer, majority votes to prioritise defence to attack, and Ethan is not happy. Vladimir also forces them to come out and admit what they were experimenting about. They can either tell the whole truth or come up with an half-baked story (which the vampires believe) according to the choice. Moreover, Vladimir demands they stop it and that he feeds on Eloise in front of everyone because he doesn’t trust them.

After this, Eloise spends some time with Beliath while Ethan helps Vladimir lock up the manor and Aaron takes care of Ivan, however after a while Raphael comes to announce that Aaron has disappeared. Eloise ignores Beliath’s order to lock herself in his room and rushes out, looking for Ethan. When she runs into him he kisses her and declares his love. Eloise is either happy because she shares his feelings or happy because she’s finally tricked him, and she kisses him back (illustration).
