rory was a little nervous, which was a slightly strange feeling for her - she didn't get nervous a whole lot. she'd been in the industry long enough, worked with enough people that she was kind of used to it all by now. but this was tavara moonfate, working with her was something she could have only ever dreamed of. she'd been a fan of the older woman for a long time, always kind of inspired by the way their stories were eerily similar. so, yeah, this was kind of a big deal. "hi!" she greeted when she spotted the blonde. "i'm rory. well, you knew that already, but ... hi, it's really so nice to meet you."

Tavara && scarring

Tavara's scar is very very hard to ignore. If it's not the ears or mismatched eyes that catch your eye, it's definitely the scar. It's a stark contrast against a soft freckled face. She actually has two scars but the one on her chin is from falling as a child, nothing too out of the blue for an adventurous child.

The one painted across her eye however? Not so wholesome earnings.

Her birth father had never been fond of her love for performing. He entertained it when she was a child but as she grew it became a nuisance. She was a lady, not some street performer. Her 10th nameday was the final straw. She insisted on performing for the coming guests and her father Romaer had enough of little hobby. He snatched the beloved violin from her hands and swung. The splintering of the wood across her face echoed in the hall.

A loud split, a sharp cry and a choked gasp. Followed by a near deafening silence. With a trembling hand, Tavara had reached up only to met with a stinging feeling and crimson dripping down her fingers. Her feet then carried out of that house for the last time. She ran out of her father's harsh attempt at grasping her, her mother's call of her name and turned her back on Tavara Moonfate.

She doesn't remember how she found Loras. Only that she just kept running. The ends of her ballgown shredded and coated in mud as she wove through the lower city. Tears and blood caked her freckled cheeks. And she ran straight into the arms of a stunned bard, and the only person in the world she could trust.

He got her cleaned up, stitched up and healed part of her heart in the process. The scar from then was nothing more than a mark on her skin. She does not talk openly about it and if people ask she gets kind of shameful and shy. She'll brush it off as best as she can.

A ringing pain flourished in his head after that moment of harsh contact upon his dome. Ears ringing for a sweet second, Oga’s eyes clenched shut as the off guard hit stung both physically and as effective at his pride as a snarl of pain left from his lips. Quickly clutching at that spot, it’d be that flowing blond hair that gave him the perfect hint as to who this was once his eyes opened again. Was he supposed to pity that none too pleased expression of her’s!?

If anything he should be the one wearing that face! His brow knit into that infamous irritated stance he stepped up toe to toe with this girl. Naturally there would be no punches thrown, his mama taught him a pinch better than that. falls asleep on the couch: Mostly Natsu, but there are times where he’s found Luna sleeping on the couch so he would cuddle up with her like that’s how they both fell asleep in the first place.

Realizing that screw up that he did, his eyes perk open with a sense of realization as he held up a hand. “Ahhh shit.”
