my favourite ghost, aaaah it's so hard but there's a major tie between robin and the captain! i laugh at nearly every one of robin's lines and i also think he's one of the most interesting characters conceptually (like he's a caveman who's lived on for thousands of years and seen so much change and learned so much- it's just so cool?). hes just hilarious and fascinating in equal measure

the captain is an incredibly unoriginal answer but i think there's so much pathos in his character as well as him having his ridiculous sitcom traits, he's delightfully uptight but also full of conflict and i Cannot Resist A Stern, Emotionally Repressed Character Who Is Also Absurd. julian is another favourite simply bc i think his catastrophic morals and the parody of toryism is very entertaining

as for my favourite episode- i think it's the first christmas special! mike's storyline both had me laughing and emotional at the end with his dad, the singing at the end, the general homely vibes and julian's Baby Crisis... top tier, though moonah ston comes close
