I think the most heartbreaking scene in 1x02 is where Steven is stuck - conscious - in his own body for the very first time and literally BEGS Marc to let him back into control. And Marc just looks at him with this sad sad face, saying: "I know. Its okay. I am gonna take care of you." and then we see Steven, covering himself with a blanket, completly broken
