A friend I’m always excited to see log on is @wkjonesnet​ while we met outside of GW2 as art buddies, once we learned that we both played we would team up to play all the time especially festivals and new stories.  And now they may have not so great internet or ready access to it but every time I see them log in while I’m on, I go hunt em down or party up so we can go romp around, usually completing the latest story and discussing the lore (CHARR LORE CHARR LORE).  And just in general being a pair of derpy mookitties.

As for friends I have made in game, I really don’t have one but a whole guild of them.  The Deadly Old Ladies [DOL] guild have become dear friends to me and I look forward to guild missions when I can make it or hanging out in one of the bars in DR listening to the RPers and maybe doing a little ourselves.  I’ve been playing for awhile now and have been through a few guilds that started out fun and full of people but slowly most of them faded out as folks went on to play other games, but these folks are my people who have just as much love and attachment to this game as me.  That no matter how many other games I may pick up and enjoy I always find myself coming back to this one as my comfort place.
