IT’S AZUL’S BIRTHDAY MONTH! Local menace finally gets his special little day, as a treat. speaking of birthdays, i ended up falling off being able to send bday asks during the fall since i got busy, but i hope i can pick up sending them again this year! (this goes for both azul and ruggie). 

MONTHLY GOAL. The 2C War unfortunately ended with Raffles and I scoring literally the same amount of points for Octavinelle and Scarabia. Whilst I’ll still be battling to score more than Raffles this month, my February monthly goal is to post a timely drabble about Azul’s birthday! I will also be causing problems on Azul’s birthday (hopefully), because Azul thrives off of being a menace. :heart: 

I’m also aiming to change Azul’s theme (if I have the time), because this theme is extremely wonky when it comes to embedding images.

2) I DO participate in events!! I did the SessKag prompt raffle, SessKag Big Bang, InuKag Week, and the Inu-Spiration events. I also regularly do the SessKag Drabble nights and monthly prompt challenges. I’m currently preparing my entires for SessKag week and after, InuKag fluff week and the next Inu-Spiration event. I love how collaborative they are, and I love how you get to see so many different interpretations of the same prompts. And honestly it’s just fun participating in something so many other people who love the same thing are doing ❤️

7) I struggle the most writing battle scenes and things that are super action heavy 😖 I used to also struggle with idea of writing smut but uh….. I guess I nipped that in the bud recently so maybe I just need to write an action heavy fic to practice lmao

Currently having his hot crush basically sitting in his lap was certainly a reason deciding to go to Sasha’s birthday party had been an excellent choice.

Jean stretched toward the table to toss his white card into the pile, leaning forward and sideways and a little bit over Marco’s lap in the process.

“Sorry,” Jean muttered as he leaned back, but he was still smiling.

However, now entering round two, Marco realized having his hot crush basically sitting in his lap was a reason coming to Sasha’s birthday party had also been a horrible decision.

I'd be interested in a writing event for sure! We definitely need more fanfic for this series in general tbh. Do you think it would have a word limit (like a drabble exchange) or have people be able to write stories as long or short as they want per the prompt?

It depends on what we end up doing if its an exchange it would have to be within a certain word count, where as like a challenge could be any length. or we could do something like a monthly drabble raffle where you get a random prompt and write as much or as little as you'd like. I'm definitely leaning away from do a contest.

In this monthly post, I'll show you how the initiative is working, what is new about Patreon Page, talk about this initiative a little and of course, thank the ones who are supporting my work in this new journey! So let's start with what is good?

do you have any tips for patreon pages for writing?? i've been thinking about setting one up just to get a little extra money but i've never seen a lot of people do tha

honestly? i don’t have a clue

i think patreons for writers are a REALLY good and great idea, especially since if you want to publish (traditionally or self published), it doesn’t make you that much money unless you pull a rowling. but in my experience, people don’t...r e a l l y super want to pay for writing. 

if you’d like to make a patreon i say go for it! patreon’s are completely free to set up, so you don’t lose anything if you just go for it. post on there whenever you want, even if you don’t have patrons, so when you do have some there’s a backlog of posts. also it might give people an incentive to become a patron of yours! 

if you write fanfic, you can mention it in posts on tumblr and hint to it on ao3 (don’t say outright, that’s against the terms and conditions) and you could post excerpts to patreon early, or entire chapters. you could have polls for the next story you write or what ship maybe, or for a certain tier you could do a drabble raffle or something along those lines

you could also create a kofi for people who can’t afford a monthly donation

also: i suggest looking at other writer’s patreon pages and seeing what works for them! for example, @thebibliosphere is one writer i know who has a relatively successful patreon as a writer, just based on what i’ve seen. you can see joy’s page here!
